For a while now
I've been wondering
What's missing
In my friendships
There was always
A puzzle piece hidden
A new dawning day
A new foresight
What I don't have is
A group of friends
Oh I have friends
Lots of them
And blessed be so
But I don't have
A bunch in one group
I can't get 5 or 6
Girls together to go
Out somewhere
I have one friend here
One friend there
Another half an hour away
It makes for super lonely
Evenings sometimes
While I see girls
Going dancing in herds
Taking photos
The only time I have felt
A part of a group
Or two different ones
Was when I was in LA
I feel like I can have tons of fun
Be a part of something
Bigger and better than me
I wish I had that here
I wish people would invite me
To be a part of their group
The only group I had here
Dissolved into a puddle
When people stopped going out
I always try to combine
People to create that
Group of friends
So people wouldn't be lonely
Can someone else
Do it for me too?
