We progress
Through life slowly
Meeting different people
Going with
The flow
Many think
Epiphanies
Are the stuff
Of legends
No, they aren't
They lead us
To our destinies
Big or small
All are significant
To the growth
Of a being
You will not
Always know
When one will
Hit you
Like a supernova
In the far reaches
Of the cosmos
It's electrifying
To each his/her own
For some it might be
A change of a job
Place to live
Or further stepping stone
In a relationship
To others it is
A purging of things
No longer needed
Necessary, wanted
When moving on
From a point of origin
Look around
Who is no longer
Conducive to your future?
Is the
Past emotional
Holding you from
Present, future happiness?
Very important
To always act
Upon the epiphany
Of the moment
Once completely thought through
Of course
A new day has come
With the setting of
The old sun
Leave the past there
Flying away
Between continents
Leaving unanswered
Over analyzed problems
Behind
Let the epiphanies
Of tomorrow
Gifts of today
Carry you forward
Toward a happy
Soulful, free existence
