Klaus Mikaelson stepped out of the Mystic Falls' Grill heading to his car. He was still angry about the first encounter he had with a vampire named Damon Salvatore and history teacher by day, vampire hunter by night, Alaric Saltzman. He chucked to himself, thinking about what Damon had said to him. He really thought that he would stop the ritual for one more month, but he would not.

He got in his black Range Rover looking at the road in front of him, but he barely noticed the girl sitting in the passenger side. She was silent looking ahead also.

"You have a rough time coming for you buddy," she mumbled to herself not expecting him to hear her.

Klaus jumped, looking at the girl in his car. He had not heard her come in, nor see her until now.

Their blue eyes meet, and Klaus stared at her in amazement. "Who the bloody hell are you?"

Ragna's eyes widened. "Yo-You can see me?"

"Yes I can see you, you are sitting in my car," Klaus said, staring at Ragna.

She smiled a bit, "Then it's time. I'm Ragna."

Klaus lunged at her, reaching for her throat, but his hand went right through her neck. His eyes met hers.

"Do you mind moving?"

"What are you?" He asked.

Ragna smirked, "Honestly, I don't know, but I have been watching you Niklaus Mikaelson."

••••

"And on July 26th, 1987, you..."

"Okay," Klaus said, interrupting Ragna, speeding down the highway, "You know my entire life. You are a stranger to me, but I am an old friend to you."

"Actually, I have never met you before," Ragna said.

Klaus glanced at her, "What is your purpose of being here?"

Ragna crossed her arms, "I told you, I'm here to guide you, and now it's my time to help you."

Klaus smirked, "Okay, then what do you say I do?"

Ragna went to speak, but couldn't form words, causing Klaus' smirk to widen. "That's because you don't know what to do. So leave."

"I think you should go through it," Ragna said, "Kill the doppelgänger, and while you are at it take the guy from the 20's. I remember him."

"Why would I take Stefan?" Klaus questioned.

"Why wouldn't you? He is a ripper, unmerciful, and a killing machine," Ragna said.

"Not anymore," Klaus said.

Ragna smirked, something she picked up from watching Klaus all these years, "Change him."

Ragna didn't know what she was doing, it wasn't like her to talk like this, or think like this. Deep down she didn't want Klaus to go threw this and hurt all these innocent people, but she felt as if she needed to help him, she was his guide.

"You don't seem like the malicious type," Klaus murmured, his eyes focused on the road.

Ragna sighed before looking out of the widow, "You still don't believe me do you?"

"I don't know what to believe, love."

"Pull over," Ragna commanded, gesturing to the side of the road.

"For what?" Klaus questioned.

"Just do it," Ragna told him. When the car was parked Ragna, appeared to the other side of the car.

Klaus opened his door looking at her skeptically, "How did you do that?"

Ragna shrugged, "I've always been able to do it."

Klaus pressed his lips in a fine line, "What are we doing here Ragna?"

"Follow me," Ragna told him, waving him to follow her. She began to walk into the woods, walking through trees and the underbrush. Klaus followed slowly behind, pushing branches out of the way for him to walk cleanly through. Ragna stopped in a clearing, the high grass covering her legs. Klaus looked around and a smile played on his face.

"Why did you bring me here?" Klaus asked.

"Proof," Ragna said gesturing around her, "Only you and your family know your original place of origin. And of course me. This is it."

Klaus smirked, "How old are you."

"You never ask a lady her age, Klaus it's rude," Ragna said, "I'm older than you, by about 1,000 years, so that would place me just around 2,000."

"Impossible," Klaus shook his head, "Your not real."

Ragna crossed her arms, "Maybe I am, maybe I'm not. Either way, you still look crazy talking to yourself."

••••

Klaus walked into Alaric's apartment, shutting the door on Ragna.

"Dick," she told him as she entered through the closed door. Ragna saw a girl making coffee, with dark curled hair flowing down her back, "Is that the great Miss Katerina Petrova?"

Klaus turned around to look at Ragna, "Can she see you?" Klaus mumbled under his breath.

"Everything okay?" Katherine asked turning around, confused on why Klaus was speaking to himself.

Klaus ignored her, "What have you been doing?"

"Making coffee," Katherine answered, "Do you want some?"

"I don't believe her,"  Ragna said to Klaus.

He looked back at her and nodded before rushing over to Katherine. He grabbed her by the throat and pinned her against the wall. "Tell me what you've been doing," he said, compelling her.

"Making coffee," Katherine struggled to say.

He released her and turned around to face Ragna.

"I still don't believe her, Ragna said, "I think she's on vervain."

Katherine was grasping her throat and staring at Klaus who was staring right at the wall. He turned around, "Wait. Take off your bracelet."

Katherine took it off and handed it to him.

"Now, I want you...to walk over to the window and stand in the sunlight," Klaus commanded.

Katherine looked at him, wide eyed, "But I'll burn."

Klaus shrugged, "You don't have a choice."

She stood in the sunlight and Ragna watched as her side of her face that was exposed begin to burn. She screamed and Klaus looked at her with a smile. Ragna didn't like this idea of someone, even Katherine Pierce to get hurt, but then again, she told Klaus that she didn't believe Katherine and Ragna had no control over it.

Klaus watched as she burned for a moment more before stopping her, "That's enough."

Katherine rushed to the corner of the room, in the shadows.

"Guess I was wrong," Klaus said, looking back at Ragna.

"I still don't believe her," Ragna mumbled.

Klaus ignored her and looked at Katherine, "All right, then. I need you to do something for me."

••••

Ragna stood beside Klaus, looking at a big brick house outside of Mystic Falls. A car pulled up the driveway and Stefan Salvatore stepped out of the car and going to the side to open the door of the new doppelgänger, Elena, whom Ragna only met on a few occasions.

"Last time I remember, Stefan wasn't a gentlemen," Ragna said to Klaus.

Klaus looked down at her, "Do you really remember everything?"

"Every last bit,"Ragna answered, "It get's boring when you are invisible to the world."

"Thanks for today," Elena told Stefan as she stepped out of the car.

"Now's you cue," Ragna told Klaus. As he approached the couple, Stefan pushed Elena behind him protectively.

"You got me all nervous," Klaus smirked, "I thought maybe you'd done something stupid. You ready, my dear?"

Elena nodded, "I'm ready." She began to walk toward him by put Stefan stopped her.

"No."

"I wouldn't," Klaus warned, "No reason for you to die, too."

Elena turned and looked at Stefan, who can't stop staring at Klaus.

"No. Stefan, hey, hey, it's fine, it's fine," Elena told Stefan, "I'll go. No one needs to get hurt. There's no reason for you to get hurt." She kissed him, "I love you."

Stefan nodded, "I love you." They kissed again.

Ragna rolled her eyes, "This is nauseating."

"Close your eyes. Close your eyes," Elena told Stefan.

He closed his eyes, and she let go of his hand.

"Let's go now," Ragna told Klaus.

When Stefan opened his eyes, they were gone.

Ragna sat in the back seat of Klaus' car peeking her head through the passenger side and driver's side, Elena sat in the passenger side, gazing out of the window, waiting to be handed off to Greta, one of Klaus' witches. "You know if you were smart, you would get a back up vampire and werewolf."

Klaus shot Ragna a smirk, which she returned rather quickly.

••••

Klaus entered the apartment, Rgana following closely behind him.

"I think your witch is missing," Rgana told him, "What's his name? Maddox?"

Klaus turned around and scrunched his eyebrows up in confusion before looking back at Katherine, who was still stuck in the apartment, "Where's Maddox? He should be back by now."

"I don't know," Katherine told him dryly.

Ragna took a seat on the couch, looking at the open lap top sitting on the coffee table. "You know, these computer things have always interested. Never was able to use one of course, I have only been able to watch your stupid ass use it."

Klaus sent her a glare before taking a seat beside her, "Do you ever shut up?"

"Excuse me?" Katherine asked Klaus, thinking he was talking to her, "You seem to be off your game today Klaus."

Klaus ignored the two girl in the room, (one only visible to him) and opened his laptop to show a live video of a werewolf named Jules laying on the floor of a cellar, chained to a wall.

"What are you doing? Where's Elena?" Katherine asked.

"Well we know which one is the oblivious doppelgänger," Ragna mumbled.

"I sent her off with Greta," Klaus replied to Katherine. He was still looking at the screen, Jules began to transform, "It's almost time."

The door busted open and the three in the room looked toward the door.

"Isn't that the guy from the bar?" Ragna asked, looking at the dark haired, blue eyed vampire, "The one with the vampire hunter?"

"Damon," Klaus said, answering Ragna and greeting Damon at the same time, "I wasn't aware you'd been invited in."

"I've come here to tell you that you have to postpone the ritual," Damon said.

Ragna rolled her eyes, "We already went over this."

Klaus spoke for her, "Didn't we already have this conversation?"

Damon shrugged, "Yeah, but that was before I rescued your werewolf and vampire and killed your witch."

"Stand up for yourself," Ragna told Klaus, "You are the most powerful creature on earth."

Klaus sent a smile Ragna's way before standing up to face Damon, "Excuse me?"

"And you can kill me for it," Damon responded, "I don't care. It was all...me."

Klaus looked back at Katherine, "Katerina, give us a moment."

Katherine looked at both of them before leaving, walking right through Ragna.

"Tell him that he is a fool for loving his brother's girlfriend, and you knew that one of them would try to stop you, so it was a matter of guessing," Ragna commanded Klaus to say.

"I've heard about you.The crazy, impulsive vampire in love with his brother's girl. I knew one of you would try to stop me. It was a just a 50/50 guess on who," Klaus to Damon, showing him the video of Jules. "The nice thing about werewolves is they tend to travel in packs. Need a closer look?" He threw him the phone so he could get a better look.

"Jules."

"When you spend a thousand years trying to break a curse...You learn a thing or two," Klaus said looking back at Ragna, "First rule...always have a backup. Backup werewolf. Backup witch."

"Backup vampire," Damon mumbled.

Ragna nodded at Klaus causing him  to smirk, "I've got that covered, too."

In a swift movement Klaus broke his neck and Damon's body dropped to the floor with a thud.

Klaus went to retrieve the body but, was stopped by Ragna, "Don't use him."

Klaus looked at her confused, "And why not?"

"Look," Ragna said pointing to his arm.

Klaus stepped closer, "Werewolf bite."

Ragna nodded, "He's as good as dead."

••••

"You've been much needed help today love," Klaus said, looking up at the sky from his car roof. Ragna sat beside him sitting crisscrossed.

"You're welcome," she said, "It's just nice to have company."

Klaus nodded, "I can understand."

Ragna shook her head, "You're not lonely, you were able to have contact with other people. You are just independent."

"Is that such a bad thing?"

"No, I was independent a time ago," Ragna said, "Now I need all the companionship I need."
