Nya's POV
Ronin finally agreed that he had the Venomari gas.
FINALLY!
It took us forever to get him to tell us. I was ready to go back to the Bounty and get ready for the date that me and Jay were going on. I really didn't want to miss that.
"So who did you sell the stuff too?" Kai asked, while I ran my fingers across two win fans. They each had a sharp point coming out of the smooth, long, unfolded surface. Yet, they folded up perfectly, even though they were made out of metal.
I needed these.
The shiny reflection of my face blurred as I breathed onto the metal of the fan.
Ronin rubbed his chin, pawing at the stumble and I sighed, knowing that this could take forever.
This time, I was wrong.
"It was a man, with a cowboy hat thingy. He also talked with a heavy accent, ya' know, the kind that they talk with." I slapped my head inwardly.
Of course. Everyone talks with accents. And everyone usually would rather have a different accent that they have.
"It sounded made up, ya' know? Like he was doing it on the spot. He had tattered blue jeans with a hankie coming out of his back pocket. It matched his red shirt. "
Kai nodded eagerly. "And his hair? His eyes!?"
I watched my brother ask away as I played with the fans in my hands. Forget buying these, I thought, as I put them back on the rack. I could easily make those myself.
Water designed, now that would be cool!
"Well, I'm not sure about his eyes," Ronin stated, obviously thinking carefully. "But his hair was tucked under his hat so I couldn't see it."
Wow. That was a big help. Kai didn't seem to notice, but Zane and Lloyd had disappeared into a room while him and Ronin were talking.
And by disappearing, I mean now they were crashing around in Ronins room. I couldn't see them, but I could here energy zapping. My brother jumped a little, and Ronin roared.
"What are they doing in the back room?"
I shrugged unhelpfully. "Mopping your floors?" Ya right. I can never get the guys to clean! I always get Sensei to order them around. And I can just see Lloyd mopping and Zane dancing around popping bubbles.
Yup. Good visions. Sometimes, I wish they were real.
I heard a yelp from Lloyd and an evil laughter, one that doesn't come from a human, but from a voice transformer.
Zane?
Kai seemed to think the same thing. "Maybe Zane had his voice malfunction again!" He got more excited as he thought about it. "Maybe he will sound like a cheerleader instead of a pirate!"
I rolled my eyes. Meet my brother, the one who really needs a girlfriend.
Even Jay has more guts then him.
I approached the room, slowly opening the door.
Lloyds energy blast fried a piece of my hair that was moved from the air, flowing around me. One thought hit my brain.
That could have been my head!
I shimmied inside, staying close to the wall. Kai growled and followed me, while Ronin dived behind a random chair, that was in the middle of his store. Kai and I looked at each other and agreed on the one thought.
Something was happening in that room.
With a loud yell, Kai ran inside, charging toward what lied ahead. It reminded me of Cole when he was after cake. Let's just say, you don't want to get in the way.
Zane once was trampled. And it took Jay and I the entire night to fix him. And I missed my favorite bubble bath that I have every Tuesday night!
Anyway, Kai charged in, right when Lloyd was jumping on a guy.
And Zane was stuck to the wall.
Somehow.
Anyway, Kai couldn't stop, and barreled into Lloyd, who was pinning the guy down onto the ground. Zanes eyes went wide and he went 'mmm' and 'mphmm!'
I think he was saying something along the lines of, "moms muffins," but I couldn't be sure.
Great. Something had happened to his voice box. And he must have really malfunction, since he was stuck against the wall and not moving. Unless, of course, there was a magnet or something in the wall, holding him close.
Kai smashed into Lloyd, and I was pretty sure I heard Kai's arm crunch as Lloyd and him fell.
The person in the ragged clothes laughed, and turned to me, showing me his dark green and ocean blue eyes.
"Ninja?" He scowled. "I thought they would be better than this." He picked up two daggers and with a swift motion, he brought them down to Lloyd and Kai.
"NO!" I screamed, to far away to do anything. But they just missed and pinned the ninja suit material down instead.
More evil laughter. And more of 'moms muffins.'
"Ninja are better than this!" I screamed, throwing myself at the intruder. I blasted him with water, making a little piece of dark green hair fall out of his hood.
He shoved it aside and tackled me.
Before we could fight anymore, he stood up and dusted off his pants. He moved so fast, I could grab him and pull him back down.
"The green ninja doesn't ever break a deal, does he?" the intruder snarled. Lloyd looked rather embarrassed, but managed to get Kai off of him. Sorry...a boiling Kai off of him. The both stood up, red.
Lloyd embarrassed.
Kai, well, being Kai.
And Zane 'moms muffin-ing.'
"You're right, Cookie," Lloyd started, watching who must be 'Cookie' and walked around the room, watching his every move. "The green ninja doesn't break a deal."
More intense staring. I backed up to give them space, and pulled Kai with me. We panted, watching.
Zane was still making his 'muffin' noises.
Ronin was nowhere to be found. Probably re-hiding his money stash.
"Which is why," Lloyd continued. "I only let talented people join the ninja. But you, Cookie, have shown yourself to be true to your word and an excellent fighter. So, I will be true to mine on one condition."
Lloyds word? Great, what did this green ninja offer this dirty Cookie person? My bathrobe?
"You must have an element."
Cookie smirked.
"I do."
"Then show me."
Another smirk. "In due time, Lloyd. In due time."
Lloyd growled. "Then at least tell me your name." He cocked his head. "Or I will call you Cookie forever."
Kai did an evil grin at that and I nudged him. I know it won't help and that Kai will still call him Cookie, but I could try, right?
"My name," the voice transformer gurgled. "Is Ember."
Lloyd turned to us, with sorry eyes. Zane gasped and freed himself from the wall, not saying anything, not even 'moms' or 'muffins.' Actually, I was more worried about my brother, since it's very rare for him to not interrupt and to actually keep his mouth shut for more than a minute.
And he thought Jay was motormouth.
Lloyd sighed and ran his hand through his hair, since his ninja hood was down. He looked back up and into the laughing eyes of Cookie, now Ember, and then back into ours. Slowly, he said words that I wish he hadn't.
"Guys, may I introduce the newest member of the ninja, Ember."

Wow guys! Shocker right? Most of you saw that coming!

Anyway, school starts tomorrow :( so I decided to give you one more chapter :) before school :( but then I have an hr bus ride so I can write long chapters :) just for u!:)
