Chase and I arrived to the beach. We look around for a few seconds before we heard squealing and yelling coming from behind us. We both turned around and I was smothered by a big hug from Mandy and a nod from Zack. You know that weird thing that guys do when they try to say hi but nod? Yea annoying so I went up to him and gave him a big bear hug. I saw girl our age next to mandy.
"Who's that Mandy?" I asked
"Oh yea I forgot about her um she's my cousin, her name's Lizzy." Mandy replied
"Way to forget about me Mandy and Hi you must be Kayl, I've heard many crazy things about you." said Lizzy
"Yup I'm not surprised I'm pretty crazy." I said
"Crazy enough to stay sane and beautiful." said Chase, while wrapping his arms around my waist
I didnt push him back because there's no point he'd just hold tighter and I'm not strong enough.
"Ok thats enough you love birds" Zack said and smirked
"So what shall we do today?" said Mandy
"OOO lets go boating! and then skinny dipping." I said and joked about the last part
"Mmm would love to see that body of yours Kayl" said Chase
"Thought you already have" said Zack sarcastically
"You two are pervs and I was only joking so calm down." I said
"You guys have a boat?" asked Lizzy
"Oh yea, well it's my parents and I got my license last year and this year I can officially drive it."
"Woa cool! Can we go tubing? I've always wanted to do it and Mandy tells me how fun it is."
"Of course, that would be fun. So guys ready to go tubing?"
"Yea!" They all yelled
I laughed, "Ok well I'll go and get my keys, who wants to come."
"Me babe" said Chase winking at me
"Ugh not you, I see your cute face all the time."
"Mhm cute face huh?"
"I'm being nice, don't make me regret it."
"Hey love birds stop flirting and go get the damn keys" yelled Zack
"Ok ok I will, Lizzy can you come with me?" I asked
"Sure!" she said ethusiatically
We both walked towards the house and then she asked "Are you and Chase dating?"
I burst out laughing for like 10 minutes straight that my stomach started to hurt. She stood there awkwardly and looked at me funny.
"Well it just look like it since he's putting his arm around you and calling you babe and you two flirt a lot and I've just met you." said Lizzy
"Well Chase and I have been best friends since we were born. It's not like that, not like those best friend romances and he does it to annoy me. But I don't show it and I've gotten so used to it that it's just a habit." I explained
"Oh ok."
"Why? You interested?"
She didn't answer me, she played with her hair and looked at the floor.
"OMG!! Awww you and Chase!! That would be the cutest couple!!"
"Woa wait a minute your getting a head of yourself. To get US we need him to like me. Do you mind helping?" She asked
"Sure why not! My bestie needs to get off the market to a awesome girl like you. Well you seem awesome since the 15 minutes I've met you. Just promise me one thing."
"Ok yea what is it?"
"Don't hurt him. His last girlfriend......well lets just say the break up wasn't that pretty and he had lots of "allergies"," I stated
"Aww, OMG I would never hurt him or cheat on him."
"Ok pinky promise?"
Yes pinky promises are legit.
"Haha yea"
So we pinky promised.
I went upstairs to get my keys and heard my parents in the kitchen.
"I'm going to tell my parents I'm using the boat"
"Oh ok I'll just stay here."
"You sure?"
"Yea I'll be fine."
With that I entered the kitchen and see my parents preparing lunch for my little sister.
"Hey Mom! Dad! and Jassie!."
"Good Morning sweetie" said my mom while chopping some vegetables
"Hey princess, haven't seen you since last night where have you been?" asked my dad
"Well this morning I went to wake up Chase because we planned on meeting Mandy and Zack and the beach. Mandy brought her cousin and she wanted to go tubing when I suggested to go boating. So I'm going to used the boat is that ok?" I asked
"Yea that's fine. Just be safe!"
"I will, ok bye!!"
I walked out of the kitchen and Lizzy wasn't at the front. I then heard giggling from my sister's room. I went to her room and there stood Lizzy playing with Jassie.
"Hey found you." I said
"Oh yea, your sister saw me and asked who I was and when I said your sister's friend she asked me to play with her."
"Oh ok well we can take the boat and I got the key so we can go back."
"Ok, Bye Jassie! It was nice playing with you." Lizzy said
"Noo!! Don't leave I want someone to play with." whined Jassie
I picked her up and told her "Why don't you ask mommy to arrange a playdate with Ella?"
Ella was around her age and she lived a few blocks down.
"Yay!!" she screamed and ran out of before I can say "laffytaffy"
"Wow little kids have quite the speed."
"Yea tell me about it. So lets go?"
I answered her by walking out of Jassie's room and out the door and put the keys in my pocket. We reached the beach and saw out group.
"Babe what took you so long?" asked Chase
"We got caught up in something." I replied
"Yea ok whatever the reason is can we go to the boat now?" said Zack
"I have to agree with Zack." said Mandy and smiled
"Ok lets go then"
We all started to walk towards the dock. It was a good 10 minute walk from the beach. I saw Mandy running to Zack and jumped on him so he's giving her a piggyback ride.
"Gosh you weigh a ton." complained Zack
"But you love me" Mandy said and then giggled
Mandy never giggles....something is up, I'll talk to her later. We got to the dock and found my boat or my family's boat, whichever title you want. We all got on and I pulled up the anchor and put the key in the ignition to start up the engine.
We pulled out of the dock and into the sea but not too far from it. Everyone was out on deck watching the sea and enjoying the sea breeze.
"Hey guys can you get the tubes from below deck?
"Yea sure I'll get it" said Zack
"I'll come with you!" Mandy said smiling
There is something weird with her don't get me wrong she does smile but not like that. It was really flirty and...OMG!! SHE LIKES HIM!!! NO WAY!! Gosh I think I'm cupid so many people are liking each other first Cameron and Jessie, Lizzy and Chase,Zack and Mandy. I should get paid! I think when I get home I'm going to message Cameron and Jessie. So right now I wonder if Chase likes Lizzy and if Zack like Mandy. Wow Zack and Mandyy sure are taking a long time.
"Hey guys I'm going to go check on them" I said
"Oh ok" said Chase
Mandy and Chase were talking and seemed to have a good time. Gosh everyone's love life is great except for mine.
I went down to check on Zack and Mandy. As crept closer I heard moaning and kissing. Zack and Mandy were making out really intensely.
"Aww I knew it!" I squealed
That sure got there attention because they jumped like 5 feet away from each other.
"It...It's not what it looks like" Mandy denyingly said
"Ok well whatever it was do it at home and don't keep us waiting for the tube."
I could tell they were embarassed so I just went up deck smiling. I saw Lizzy flirting with Chase but he didn't look interested. Lizzy's not going to like what I'm going to tell her later. God please help me!
"So you guys ready to go tubing?" I asked,trying to get there attention
"Yea, especially if you'll go in my tube" he said and winked
"Was there an underlying message to that?" I questioned,even though I knew there was. Most guys are just bleh.
"I don't know babe you'll just have to find out." He said and came over and wrapped both of his arm around my neck from behind.
Finally Zack and Mandy decide to come up deck and they remembered the tube. I took the tube from them and got some rope. I tied the rope to the tube and the other end of the rope to a pole on the boat.
"Ok,everyone where a lifejacket I don't want anyone to drown." I stated
They all groaned because they didn't like how it looked but I think it's fun to float with it on. So they all put on the life jacket.
"So who's first?" I asked
"Me!" Zack and Mandy said together
"Fine you two can go, just carefully step into the tube and I'll go and pull you guys around." I said sternly
Mandy got in the tube and then Zack and they held on to each other. I then sailed the boat and I heard Mandy scream of excitement. Chase went on and then Lizzy went on. I didn't trust any of them to sail the boat so I just went swam in the water. I made sure I got the anchor down then we all went swimming. The sun was setting and it looked beautiful.
"Wow the sky is pretty" said Lizzy
"Yea I know" I said
I turn around and saw Mandy and Zack wrapped in each others arm and I couldn't help but feel jealous.Then I felt a pair of warm arms around my waist and it was chase. I leaned back,smiled, and enjoyed the sunset.
