WPOV:
I wake up in a brightly lit room, my face and chest hurting. I turn my head and realise I'm hooked up to some machines. Am I in a hospital?
Everything ones flooding back, and I close my eyes briefly and sigh. When I open them again, I turn to my other side. Nico is sitting in a chair, asleep. His hand is clasping mine, and when I go to pull it away, he wakes up.
"Will!" He immediately grins and wars is his arms around my neck, almost falling on top of me.
"Woah!" I hug him back happily.
He pulls away and his smile is replaced with a scowl.
"Don't you ever get into a fight again!" He says angrily. "You had me worried sick!"
"Sorry." I smile sheepishly.
"Sorry doesn't cut it!" He scowls.
"I... I can't lose you." He drops into the chair and his scowl fades abruptly. He looks down as tears fill his eyes. I take his hand and sigh.
"I'm sorry." I say sincerely.
"I don't want you to get hurt." Nico says quietly. "I... I want you to be safe."
"I know." I nod. "But I was protecting you."
"Why can't we just have an ordinary relationship, without all this nearly dying shit." He sighs.
"Because we're not ordinary." I explain simply. "A normal relationship would be boring. We need some drama."
"But I've had enough of drama!" Nico says. "I just want to have a normal relationship with you, no dangerous events. Just... A normal life."
He sighs. "But I guess that's too much to ask."
