"Mimi" my mum's voice rang in the empty house .
"Coming" i yelled back .
I don't even know why i am shouting? But i guess thats how all conversations begin at my house. Oh and by the way my actual name isn't Mimi its just my pet name. I was named Naomi , Naomi Black.
My mum who is currently packing everything downstairs is known as Doctor Raven, she works as a doctor and recently got an offer to travel to a small town named Rose Hills . So we are shifting there, hence explaining my empty house.
"Mimi we'll be leaving in one hour. Make sure you left nothing behind and everything's in the movers truck!" my mum told me .
"Yea sure as long as i get my netflix and Nutella in the car ride there I'll have everything I need" i finished with a dreamy sigh.
My mum is a single parent. My dad Rob Black left us when i was a young girl, I barely remember him. Which is good i guess because he did leave me and mum overnight and we never knew why. My mum was heartbroken, she told me they had loved each other more than what she could express. They just had this instant connection apparently. He was a loving husband and dad too. Till he just left one night without saying a word, or goodbye.
