This is carol's journey...
"Hay naku! Pasok na naman!"
"Wag kang mag alala im here kaya natin to" sabi ni cheryl
"Hey guys! ready?"
"Tony..your here!" bati ni cheryl
"Ofcourse..we have the same course"
"Yeah! I know..lets go!"
Sabay sabay silang tatlo na pumasok sa unang subject nila as a nursing student. Pagpasok ni carol her eyes went directly to a person she didn't expect and the wierd thing is its with a girl.
Iniwas ni carol ang tingin niya dito. Hindi niya alam kung bakit bigla siyang napatingin dun..she compose herself at umupo sa upuan nila.
Nagsimula na ang klase nila and she feels very distracted...she feels like she's been stared at.
tinignan niya uli..and she's correct she is been stared..bumalik tingin niya sa harap and feels like she is sweating until her professor call her to answer the question.
"Are you ok..ms?"
"Yes! Im ok..hortelano sir"
"Miss hortelano can you please answer my question"
Sinagot naman niya yung tanong ng professor nila. And she sit down again.
"Hey..girl..are you ok? Namamawis yung noo mo" tanong ni cheryl
"Yes..nerbyos lang toh"
"Ok"
After ng pasok nila...tumambay silang tatlo sa isang street side food house. They order something to refresh their mind.
"gosh..first day is the worst day" sabi ni cheryl
"Bakit naman? Ok nga eh,cool yung professor natin.." tanong ni tony
"Kasi naman walang pumasok sa utak ko...ikaw carol..at biglang natahimik ka?"
"Wala..ahm...tawagan mo sila...labas tayo mamaya..wala naman tayo schedule bukas ng umaga..sa hapon pa"
"Ok..sige ill call them..sama ka tony?"
"Sure..no problem"
Wierd ang naging araw niya kasi she feels different..she knows herself well...alam niya hindi ganun ang naramdaman niya sa isang tao and she likes boys..she's not into lesbian or girl to girl..pero tinatanong niya sa sarili kung bakit ganito ang pakiramdam niya..iba..she likes the girl and she can't believe it.
The night comes and the group is complete again. First day! First night out...they went to the solem bar and restaurant to eat and to chat things on their first day being a college student.
"Hey...how are you guys?" bati ni mark
"Hi! I miss you!" ( beso-beso) ni cheryl
"I miss you to beh"
"Hi guys! Kumusta?" bati ni carol
"We are fine,my class is fabulante'..its amazing first day for me!" sabi ni karen
"Me too..ang daming BSM student na gwapo! Nakakaloka!" excited na balita ni nathan
"Malandi ka talaga!" saway ni cheryl
Nagtawanan ang lahat...pati si carol...pero alam niya sa sarili na may mali sa kanya. Kaya wala siyang pigil na tinanong ang mga kaibigan niya na kung may nakikita silang kakaiba sa kanya.
"What do you mean kakaiba carol..its seems your normal and beautiful..bakit mo naman tinanong" sagot ni mark
"Talaga? Diba i like boys...right?"
"Hey..why are you asking this question?..bakit?" tanong ni karen
"Wala...gusto ko lang malaman kung normal yung pakikiramdam ko"
"Gaga..hindi ka normal..."biro ni nathan
"grabe kayo kay carol..hey normal ka..ganda mo kaya..kung anu man yang iniisip mo sa sarili..ikaw lang makakasagot niyan ok!" pagdamay ni tony
"Tama...andito lang kami para sayo" sabat ni mark
The night went well...it ended with a great dinner and chitchat with her friends..but she still thinking something that she couldn't figure by herself.
First semester ended and they all plan to go out of town..to relax para bago ang 2nd semester refresh yung utak nila. They went to baguio city. Mas nauna si derrick at mark dun dahil may sariling sasakyan si derrick at para makakuha sila ng mas magandang accomodation para sa kanila.
Sumunod naman agad sila carol papunta,sakay sila sa van nila karen.
Nakarating sila sa apartelle kung saan sila magstay. May apat na rooms ang buong apartelle at may sariling kusina. Si nathan at tony magkasama sa isang room si karen naman sa isa..at si cheryl at carol magkasama. Sa isang room sina mark at derrick.
It is midnight and carol is still awake...hindi siya makatulog. Then mark went down to pee..but instead he saw carol just sitting on couch.
After he pee, he went to carol.
"Hey...madaling araw na gising ka pa?"
"Hindi ako makatulog eh..kasi sa buong semester na toh..im thinking kung may identity crisis ba ako"
"Bakit mo naman nasabi yan?"
"Kasi...i think im liking a girl and i know its not normal for me..because i know im a girl..but all this time..you haven't seen me with a boy or having crushes with men and i can't feel it..kasi ang dami daming gwapo..magaganda ang katawan pero hanggang appreciation lang..wala yung spark na oh i like him..its different with this girl..is this bad?".
" hindi ko alam kung paano kita sasagutin ha..kasi tignan mo..me and derrick doesn't hava a normal relationship..we are both have balls.."
"Yeah i know mark..kaso you know who you are since then..me i don't know who i am right now..its hard"
"Wala yan..mawawala din yan...set up kita ng date...malay mo diba?"
"Fine ill try...thank you"
Ngumiti lang si mark at nilagay ni carol ang ulo niya sa balikat nito. They talk long until hindi na nila namalayan ang oras..its 6am na pala..bumaba si derrick
"Good morning! hindi kayo natulog dalawa?" tanong ni derrick..sabay halik sa noo ni mark
"No...we just talk...you want coffee..pagtitimpla kita"
"No i can handle it..siguro kayo kaya niyong gumala mamaya..wala kayong tulog"
"don't worry kaya namin yan!" paninigurado ni carol.
"Ok..kayo bahala! Tulog pa yung iba" dagdag ni derrick
Habang hinihintay nila magising yung iba. Naghanda na sila ng breakfast para makapaghanda narin sa simula ng bakasyon nila sa baguio..they will spend 4 days para makapag relax and celebrates carol 18th birthday...hindi siya yung naghahanda ng bonggang party..gusto lang niya simple with her friends around..since naghiwalay ang parents niya....
After grooving around baguio main city...they went to a korean restaurant to eat for lunch. And mark and carol felt the calling of the bed.
"Guys...pwede kayo nalang muna tumuloy sa gala..mamaya nalang tayo mag bar..inaatok talaga ako!" paalam ni carol
"hun? Uwi muna kami..gusto ko na talagang matulog" dagdag ni mark
"Sabi ko na nga ba sa inyo..sige..pahatid nalang kayo sa van...then balikan nalang kami dito." dagdag ni derrick
Bumalik sila ni mark at carol sa apartelle para umidlip.
Kinagabihan naghanda na ang iba sa pagpunta sa isa sa sikat na bar ng baguio. They we're all excited. Binati nila lahat si carol para sa birthday celebration nito
Pumunta sa sa bar and its a little crowded but thankfully they made reservation they accompanied by the waiter for their table..is noisy and fun.
"Hey..let's dance everbody"pagyaya ni cheryl
Tumayo ang lahat para sumayaw..habang hinihintay nila ang mga order nilang drinks and food.
Habang sumasayaw sila..napansin ni carol yung babae na kaklase nila..hinila niya agad si mark para bumalik sa table nila.
"Sorry..pahiram muna sa kanya"
Tumango lang si derrick.
"Ouch..bakit..may problema ka ba?"
"She's here!"
"Who's here?"
"The girl na pinagusapan natin kanina.."
"What? Talaga? Don't mind it..just enjoy your birthday ok..wala yan"
"Ok...ill be calm"
"Lets go back?"
"Sure"
Habang sumasayaw sila sa dance floor. Nakita ni carol na papalapit yung babae sa kanya.
At nagpakilala.
"Hi! Classmate...hindi ko alam andito ka pala"
"Hi! Yeah..
im with my friends..im celebrating my birthday...your here?"
"yes! Im with my friends too, by the way happy birthday"
"Oh really great! Enjoy! Thank you"
"Sarah..."
"What?"
"im sarah..you are carol right?"
"Yeah!"
"You look great!"
"Thank you"
Since crowded at maingay na bar..puro pasigaw ang usapan nila. Hindi namalayan ni carol na nasa bewang na pala niya yung kamay ni sarah and she freeze a
for a bit..pero nagpadala nalang siya and she dance with her.
She enjoys it and i think she loves what she is doing now. After a few musics...bigla nalang siyang hinalikan ni sarah sa labi and she was stunned! Hindi niya alam kung dumaplis lang o sinadya talaga ni sarah. Hindi niya alam kung nakita ba ng mga kaibigan niya ang nangyari
All she knew..after that kiss..they kiss again and she's loving it.She feels very mature.
Hindi niya alam kung nakita ba ng iba toh o ipapaalam niya sa iba, and still she's very confuse of she really is. But one she knew...she likes sarah. She likes her a lot.
