~Haley's P.O.V~
I opened my eyes and coughed very little. I looked around the room. I was in the cell. I sat up from the bed and put my hands over my face. It was a dream, all of it. Being in a house, two kids, the park. It was all a dream. I turned around to see Daryl sitting on a bucket leaning against the wall asleep. I looked back foward. I felt sort of weak. It took me awhile but I stood up from the bed. Everything rushed to my head and I went back down. I felt a pair of arms surround me and pick me back up. I looked at him and he just looked at me
"Daryl" I whispered
"You gotta rest"
"I've been resting for a long time now"
He stayed quiet and just looked at me
"Are you still mad?" He asked
I shook my head "Are you?"
"Of course not"
"I wasn't jealous, I was just upset about Tyler"
"I understand Hales, I was stupid to say that"
I nodded and hugged him "Thank you. You saved me"
"I will always be here to catch you when you fall"
Our foreheads touched and we kissed before pulling away
"Come on"
We walked out and got something to eat. Afterwards I went outside
"How much did I miss?"
"Not much" He said
Rick approached us and smiled "How are you feeling?"
I nodded "Good, better"
"Good we need you here"
I smiled "Thanks"
He nodded tapped my shoulder and walked away
"Hey I gotta go talk to Rick about something, you gonna be okay?" He asked
I nodded "Yea, look I will hang out with Carl"
"Alright see you in a bit" He kissed my forehand before walking off
I approached Carl
"Hey bud"
"Hey how are you feeling?"
I nodded "Better, good as new"
"That's good, I'm glad we have you back"
"Thanks you" I nudged him and chuckled
Just then we heard a loud explosion, we all ran outside, I was behind because running for me was hard. I was headed but not completely healed. Most of the groups ran outside and to the front of the gates. Daryl ran next to me to make sure I was okay. We noticed a big tank and a couple trucks next to it. This can't be good. A part of me felt like I was Jack. But I knew it wasn't. It was the governor. Standing on the tank
"Rick! Come out here! We need to talk!" The governor yelled out. People got out from the cars, with guns.
"It's not up to me! There's a council now. They run this place!" Rick yelled
Daryl grabbed my hand and I squeezed it. This isn't good, and I have a feeling it's not gonna end well.
"Is Hershel on the council?" The governor asked
People brought Hershel out with his hands tied behind his back.
"What about Michonne?" They brought her out next and put her on her knees next to Hershel "Is she on the council too?"
The governor put his hands on his hips. No, no. This can't be happening
"I don't make decisions anymore!"
"Your gonna be making the decisions today Rick" The governor said "Get down here, let's have that talk"
We all hesitated. Rick looked at Daryl and they nodded at each other. He walked over to Carl's and put his hand on his shoulder "We can do this alright?" Rick said to Carl faintly
Carl nodded and Rick slowly walked out of the gate and towards the governor. Daryl moved around
"We can't take 'em all on. We'll go though the admin building, through the woods like we planned. We ain't got the numbers no more. When's the last time someone check the stash in the bus?" Daryl asked
"Day before we hit the Big Spot" Sasha said
"We were running low on rations then. We're lower now" I said
"Yea. We'll manage, things go south. Everyone heads for the bus, let everyone know" Daryl said
"What if everyone doesn't know when things go bad? How long do we wait?" Tyreese said
"As long as we can" I said
Daryl grabbed the rolling bag full of guns. He grabs a couple and give one to Bob
"You good?" He asked him
Bob looked at him "Yea"
He passed out the rest of the guns to us. We got into position pointing the guns to them. I stood in between Daryl and Carl
"We gotta do something" Carl said
"Your dad's got it" I said
"They're talking. I can shoot the governor right now"
"From 50 yards" Daryl said
"I'm a good shot. I could end this right now" Carl said back
"Yea, or you can start something else" Daryl shot back
"You gotta trust him Carl" I said
They continued talking for awhile until the governor took Michonne's sword and held it to Hershel's head. No, no. Come on. Don't do this. Everything went silence all of a sudden. The governor rose up the sword and swung hitting the neck of Hershel. Blood began to spatter everywhere.
"No!" We all yelled and began shooting. Bullets flew just everywhere. The war just begun. We just shot and kept shooting. Soon they began moving in. The tank knocked down the fences, they came in but we didn't stop shooting. Side of the buildings began to explode with explosions they shot. We took cover and kept shooting. I had my bow and arrow on my back. I kept the gun and emptied out the clips and replaced them whenever I needed to. I was still weak from being sick. Me and Daryl made it back to the bus. Everyone was already one their, even Glenn.
"Stay here" He demanded
"No, no were not getting separated" I said
"I need you to stay here okay"
I shook my head "No Daryl please"
"I'm coming back for you, I will"
He kissed me then kissed my forehead before leaving the entrance of the bus. I watched as he left. Tears surfaced "Daryl"
Glenn held me back. I looked at him and he looked pretty weak like me
"Where's Maggie?" I asked
"She made me wait here"
"I can't leave Daryl" I said panting
"Yea, and I can't leave Maggie" He began to get up "Come on"
"Glenn you can't go anywhere"
"I'm not leaving her behind!"
I looked at him and back at the prison being attacked before looking back at him. I took a deep breath and nodded "Okay, come on"
We began to departure from the bus when I felt a hand grab my arm "Where are you guys going? You can't leave"
I turned to see a little girl
"It's okay sweetie" I said looking at the driver "If were not back within a few minutes, leave"
She nodded and we left. We took cover as I shot everywhere. We looked around everywhere for them but couldn't seem to find them. We ended up my the metal door near cell block 3. We turned to see the bus taking off. I took a deep breath before we felt a huge explosion near us then everything went black
