~Daryl's P.O.V~

Everything went to chaos. I left Haley in the bus keeping her safe. They will drive away and as long as she was safe. I didn't want to leave her but she wasn't that strong enough. I had to. Before I knew it I noticed the bus leaving. Damn it. I wasn't going to catch up to it I know that. I put a grenade in the tank and it blew up. Success. The guy from the tank jumped out and I held my crossbow to him. He put his hands up but I didn't hesitate. I shot my arrow and it hit him in the chest causing him to go down. Beth ran up and stopped beside me

"I was trying to find the kids to get them on the bus" Beth said

"We gotta go, Beth. We gotta go" I said taking a few steps back

We began taking off and running away. We had to leave this place. The bus left with Haley on it. I only pray she's safe. I know she is, she's strong. She will make it. We ran and ran for who knows how long. We took breaks but we kept on running. All I had on my mind was Haley. We ran and ran through a field with tall grass. We ran until we just dropped ourselves on the field. We were panting and breathing heavily. We stayed here for awhile until we stood up because the sun was already setting

"Come on, let's build a fire" I said sternly getting up holding my crossbow and walking away

After we build the fire we sat in silence as the only sound that was heard was the crackling of the fire. All I could think about was Haley. How much I missed her. How much I wanted her to be safe. I shouldn't have left her like that. I should have just kept her by my side. She would be here right now. And that's all I wanted. I sat with my knees up against my chest and my elbows resting on my knees. Beth began talking

"Rick and Michonne they could still be out there. Glenn and Maggie could have made it out of A block" She put her hand on the ground "Haley could still be out there"

I picked up my eyes from the fire and stared at her. She was growing impatient from me not replying to her
She stood up

"Your a tracker. You can track. Come on"

I still didn't reply to her and looked out into the fire again.

"The sun will be out soon. If we head out now we can-"

She stopped but started again

"Fine if you don't track" She approached the knife next to me and grabbed it from out of the ground "I will"

She turned her back and walked away into the woods. I stayed looking into the fire for awhile. Haley still on my mine. I eventually stood up and put out the fire. Afterwards I began to follow Beth's tracks. We were walking even when the sun was already up
We were walking until I found a set of tracks. I blew and cleaned the leaves around it. Beth strongly believed it was Luke's or Molly's tracks. But this was four or five hours ago. Hard to tell if they're alive now. But she really thinks they are before walking away.

We kept following the tracks with me behind her. We found smashed grapes. They must've gotten out in a hurry. She began picking grapes from the tree nearby and I grabbed out a small towel. I gave it to her and she took it. I turned my back and continued to walk. We found two walkers dead on the ground. I looked at the leaves and noticed blood that wasn't walker blood. Just then we heard twigs snap. It was quiet until a walker attacked Beth. I tried aiming for it but no good. I threw the knife on the ground and took it off her. I nodded as she took her knife out. I laid on my back and faced it laying up. She stabbed the walker in the face and I instantly threw it aside. I was panting when I grabbed the crossbow and we continued walking. She was so persistent. She wanted to find them, find survivors and hell so was I. But I was only interested in finding one person. Haley.

I hear my name echoing. What the hell? I opened my eyes to see Glenn looking over me. I heard close and distant snarling. I looked around and noticed I was inside a locked fence. I slowly sat up

"Are you okay?" Glenn asked

I nodded slowly then I noticed a girl sitting next to me. Did she save me?

"Come on we have to go" Glenn said helping me up

I stood up and noticed Glenn was in armor. I noticed the girl was like a statue. She wouldn't move. Glenn convinced her. He used a bottle of Bob's drink to distract. After we made it out the first thing on my mind was finding Daryl. We kept walking on the road hoping we were walking in the right direction

"I have to find Maggie" Glenn said

"Who's Maggie?" Tara asked

"She's my wife" Glenn said proudly

"You guys got separated?"

"I was on the bus and then I got off the help and she didn't see me"

"How do you know if she made it?" Tara asked

"I don't know. But Hershel, Maggie's father, was a great man. And he told me all I had to do was believe, and that's what I'm gonna do. Neither one of us should be alive, right now. She got out, so you're gonna help me find her. Things aren't over. They're not over"

"I want to believe that. I want to"

"You have to" Glenn replied. He turned to look at me "You think Daryl made it out?"

"I know he did. He had to"

He nodded as we kept on walking. Just then a small group of walkers came out of nowhere. We were able to fight them off but Glenn passed out. I fought off one walker while Tara fought the other. I stood panting as a military truck approached us

"Hope you enjoyed the show assholes!" I yelled

Three people came out from the truck and approached us. Great... new people.
