~Haley's P.O.V~
The next morning we ate breakfast and Daryl went his separate way. I walked over to the back of the prison and scouted with my bow and arrow. I was glad to get away, have some time to myself. I was out there for long awhile until I began walking back to the prison

Daryl ran to the prison in a storm. He ran into Cell block D to find walkers biting others. His instincts ran in and he stabbed the walkers in the head with my knife. He put the knife back and grabbed his crossbow and began shooting and reloading quickly. He ran upstairs and heard a loud growl. He turned to see it attack Glenn
"Get down!" Daryl yelled
He shot the crossbow and shot the walker in the head
"Thanks" Glenn said as Daryl helped him up
Rick and the rest of them looked inside the cell where the walker was put down
"Oh it's Patrick" Daryl said
Just then everything fell silent. It was over. Daryl hadn't seen Haley in awhile and began to freak
"Where's Haley?" He asked looking around
"I haven't seen her" Glenn said

I began walking to the fences in the front where the walkers were pouncing against the fence. Before I could make it to the fences I saw one person run up to me
"Haley!"
It was one of the little kids I knew
"Hey Jen what's wrong?" I asked
"I think they need your help, in cell block D. I think something happened!"
She sounded scared, afraid
I looked up and down at her "Don't go inside okay stay here"
I ran inside putting my bow and arrow down. I began running inside to cell block D as I held onto my knife I had in pocket. I made it to the cell block and ran inside. I didn't make it far. I stood at the entrance looking at all the bodies on the ground. Blood everywhere. My eyes glanced before locking in on one person. My heart fell to the floor and my eyes burned with tears flowing quickly down my cheeks. I screamed and ran beside the body
"Tyler!" I yelled
His body was completely lifeless. He was bitten on the arm, neck, blood everywhere. He had a clear shot from a knife wound to the head. I grabbed him and held him in my arms
"No! Please! Tyler!" I sobbed
I couldn't believe this, my brother. My brother, he's gone. I heard footsteps coming down from the top. I looked up slowly to see Glenn, Rick, and Daryl. My eyes were already bright red and tears just kept coming. I looked back down at Tyler just sobbing. I felt some whispering and later steps approaching me. I felt a pair of arms wrap around me trying to pick me up
"No, please. Please let me stay with him" I pleaded not letting go of him
"Baby come on, you don't want to see him like this. Come on"
I felt Daryl whisper in my ear
I shook my head with hot tears still pouring out non stop
"Baby come on, it's okay. It's okay"
Daryl continued to whisper. After what felt like a long time I stood up with Daryl and I walked out. He was basically carrying me out because I couldn't seem to walk. I just kept sobbing and sobbing. Once we made it out we stopped and I just fell into the cement with him holding me
"He's gone" I said through the sobs
He began running his fingers through my hair "Shhh it's okay"
"It's not okay, he's gone. Tyler is dead"
"I know how you fell baby, I know that pain" He said rocking me and whispering in my ear
I sniffed as the tears began to slowly fade away "Merle?"
He nodded
"Daryl"
I could see tears forming of his own. He just continued to rock me and whisper in my ear to shhh. I sobbed for a good while until I stopped.
"I gotta go check cell block D" He said
I nodded when Maggie came and comforted me while Daryl left. Afterwards I stopped crying and Hershel called a meeting. We all met in the room
"Patrick was fine yesterday, then he died overnight. Two people died that quick. We have to separate everyone that's been exposed" Carol said
"That's everyone in that cell block, all of us, maybe more" Daryl said
"We know that's this sickness may be lethal. We don't know how easily it spreads. Is anyone else showing symptoms that we know of?" Hershel asked
"We can't just wait and see. There's children. It's just the illness. People die and become a threat" I said
"We need a place for them to go. They can't stay in D. We can't risk for us to go and clean it up" Hershel said
"We can use cell block A" Sasha suggested
"Death row? I'm not sure that's much of an upgrade" Glenn said
Daryl noticed I was beginning to stare into space. He grabbed my hand that was on the table and looked at me. I slightly smiled and he returned it.
"It's clean, that's an upgrade" Daryl turned to them "Think that'll work for Dr. S?"
"I'll help Caleb get it set up" Hershel said
Just then we heard a women coughing outside. We all heard it, everyone stood up and went over but me. I stayed sitting down. I looked and stared into the table. I couldn't stop thinking about Tyler. I couldn't believe it, my brother, my only blood was gone. I could hear was chatting outside but I didn't listen. I later listen after I heard footsteps departure. I heard Daryl speak
"I'll get to burying the dead ones" Daryl said
"Make sure you wear gloves and a mask" Hershel demanded
"Uh hu" Daryl said
I heard Hershel leave. I finally looked away from the table and looked out to Daryl and Carol
"You all right?" I watched Daryl ask Carol
"I'm worried about Lizzie and Mica they were around Patrick"
"We all were. Karen and David are gonna be separated till they feel better" He said
"All right. Are you okay?" She asked
He gave a nod with a hint of a smile "Mm-hmm, gotta be"
My mind was swirling like a banana split, all different thoughts. I just stormed out of the room. Passed Daryl and storming outside

Daryl watched as Haley stormed out of the room and passed them
"What about her?" Carol asked Daryl
"She'll be alright"
"Are you sure? I know she's hurt because she just lost her brother but the look she had wasn't sorrow. It was anger. Go talk to her"
Daryl looked at her realizing she was right? What was wrong with her? He asked himself. He nodded before walking away
