Austin's POV
I thought Trish would have warmed up to me at least a little during the past few days.
I couldn't have been more wrong.
Oh well... I guess I'll just have to hope Trish and Ally comes to my concert tomorrow.
I was walking back to my hotel when a seriously tall man just ran right into me.
"Hey watch where you're going!"
"Aw man! That's the second time today!"
Wait. I'd know that voice anywhere.
But last time I saw him, he was going to LA for film school. 6 years ago.
"DEZ???"
And he froze. And slowly got up.
Looked at my face, and...
SLAP.
Ow.
"What did you do that for? I'm your best friend! Aren't you happy to see your friend again?"
Our eyes met, and I found Dez glaring at me. It's the first time I saw him looking like that at anyone. He must seriously hate me.
"Really Austin? Really?"
"What?"
Dez was right about to answer when I heard,
"Dez! Don't run so fast! I can't keep up!
Hey why did you-!"
Ally.
"Hey Ally."
It goes quiet.
And then Dez cracks.
"HOW DARE YOU LEAVE ALLY!!"
So that's what this is all about.
"Look, I regre-"
Ally cut over me.
"We're in the middle of the street. Let's talk at Trish's Dez."
Oh so I don't exist.
And we start walking over to Trish's in silence.
