I rolled my eyes at the TV.
TMZ thinks they have the true story.
I turned off the television and walked out to the living room.
I was going to hang out with my sister today so that's a good thing.
I had been ignoring everyone that had been calling or texting me.
I was annoyed that Jai never called me yesterday. No happy birthday or anything. I was getting ready to go in for work. It was going to be a sit in practice.
I grabbed my lunch and put it on my backpack.
I put my phone and wallet in there too. I walked out the apartment.
I went to my car. I sighed seeing how shitty the day was. Grey sky.
I got in and began driving to my destination.
Once I got there I walked into the building.
They took me to the room that were we're doing our practice.
I was early, like always.
I took out my phone to see Jai's name on my screen. He had called me four times already.
I opened the messages.
Justin:
Sorry, i didn't want that to happen
To Justin:
It's not your fault. People just need to get a life. Like for reals. Not bothered by it.
Justin:
I'll text you when I land so when can deal with this
As soon as he left my apartment last night he went straight to the airport because he had to be in Australia for a concert.
I clicked on Jai's message.
Jai:
why aren't you answering?
Yeah I changed his name on my phone.
Jai:
For fuck sake Heather! Answer my fucking calls.
To Jai:
I'll call you when I'm out of this practice shit
Jai:
Right after.
I didn't answer him.
Everyone walked in and I was getting stared at by most of them.

I got out and went to the nearest Starbucks.
I ordered my usual. I walked out and headed home.
I called Jai but he didn't answer. Typical.
Jai:
Interview can't answer right now. I'll call you in fifteen.
To Jai:
Okay.
I turned on the tv again and started Watching keeping up with the Kardashians.
I must've been really caught up with the show that I was startled when the phone started ringing.
Jai.
I slid the answer button over.
"Hello?" I said.
"Care to explain?" He asked with a bit of anger.
"There's nothing to explain really, they turn something into the worst thing ever" I said calmly.
"That's not what it shows on the fucking pictures Heather" he raised his voice.
I don't know why but that got me very emotional so a few tears started trickling down.
"It looks like that because it's photoshopped, Justin took me he from the club and I asked if he wanted to go in since j knew he was going to the airport and I hadn't seen him in a while I just wanted to catch up, that's all. Those pictures aren't true. I never held his hand" I was sobbing.
"Why are you crying?" He asked, confusion in his voice.
"I don't know, I've been feeling shitty lately"
I heard him sigh.
"You know that I love you, right?" He asked.
"Maybe"
"I love you"
"Okay, how have you been?"
"Missing you"
"Miss you too, please come home soon" I whispered.
"I'll try to get a flight for this week" he said. "I have something to ask you also but in person"
"Same"
"I wish you were here. Everything here is beautiful but it's missing one thing"
"And that is?"
"You"
I laughed at his cheesiness.
"That was so cheesy" I laughed again.
"Only for you" he laughed also.
"So you're not mad?" I asked him.
"No, I believe you. If you said that you two didn't do anything then I believe you."
"Okay, oh and thanks for the surprise"
"It was hard to convince her" he laughed.
"I know"
"Also, your mom called me the other day"
"What? Why?" I asked confused.
"She wanted to ask me a question, but she forgot and said she was going to call back but she never did"

A week later.
Justin and I cleared things up. We both said that nothing was happening between us and that I wasn't cheating on Jai.
I would never do that. I would feel very guilty and probably tell him right after I've done it.
Everything was getting better.
Jai hasn't called me but he has texted.
I was invited by Carla and Jason go out for the day.
If you are asking are Carla and Jason dating... No. They are twins.
We have been shopping but now we are at the food court.
If shopping was a sport I'm pretty sure both of them would be one of the best in the world. I was so fucking tired.
"Jai's coming next week. Are you happy?" Carla asked.
"Yeah, he has been saying that the day after he gets here he is taking me out" I laughed.
"You two are so weird but cute" she said.
"Ready to get home?" Jason asked.
"I thought you would never ask" I groaned.
"I wanted to go see if I could get a case for my phone" Carla pouted.
"Another day" I told her.
"Fine"
We all got up and headed home.
Jason and Carla dropped me off at my place.

I got home and changed to hang out with Ashley again.
I was going to hang out with Melanie also, I wasn't looking forward for that.
I've never really met her but I've seen pictures of her. I don't want to meet her because she has taken moms place in the family.
Not for me. She's just a girl and I'll won't accept her to be my stepmother.
There was a knock on the door. I quickly put in my earrings and walked to the door to open it.
I also felt my vibrate in my back pocket.
"Heather!" Ashley walked in and hugged me.
I hugged her back.
There stood a girl in her late twenties probably or early thirties.
I stared at her.
"Hi" she smiled.
"Hi" I said turning around to get my keys.
Soon enough we were at a ice cream parlor two blocks from my apartment.
It was pretty awkward if I may say.
Ashley and I were mostly talking. Melanie was quiet.
I sighed because I felt bad for not acknowledging her.
"So," I looked at her.
"How are you dear?" She asked.
"I'm great, you?"
"Good" she answered.
We talked for a little while more.
As we were heading back home I remembered that my phone earlier had vibrated.
I looked at the screen.
I tapped on the name on the screen so it would take me to message.
Pick me tomorrow at one. Can't wait to see your beautiful face.
I looked at the message.
