(a/n some strong language!)
"hey, you!" yoongi heard a couple of harsh voices yell from behind him on his way home from school. this kind of thing happened often, so he was used to it. he just decided to ignore it and walk a little bit faster than before. "hey, faggot! don't walk away from me!" a loud voice roared from behind him. yoongi knew that he shouldn't stop and look, he knew that he should just keep walking home, but for some reason, that day something made him turn around.
to his horror, behind him was almost half of the award winning football team from his high school. you see, yoongi didn't fit into that type of crowd. he was skinny, small, and probably the palest and quietest person you will ever meet. the beginning of high school was alright for yoongi. he stayed quiet and didn't really get noticed, but he liked it that way. but in junior year, somehow everyone found out that he liked guys, and not girls. and that's when the bullying started. and now in his senior year, it wasn't any better.
yoongi quickly spun back around on his heal and started walking again, but not even ten seconds later, he was picked up by his collar and thrown to the ground. sure, his arm hurt like hell from the awkward position he had fallen in, but he would never let them know how much they hurt him. so, he sucked in a deep breath and held a stern face.
a couple of the jocks crouched down and one of them punched him square in the stomach. yoongi gagged and clutched his abdomen, but then there was another hit to his face. blood trickled down from somewhere around his left cheek. when his vision eventually returned back to normal, he saw that jimin, the nicest one of them all, was just standing there and not doing anything. yoongi has had the biggest crush on jimin ever since he came to this school. he loved that jimin was so sweet and looked so damn innocent. he himself, on the other hand, had a cold face and a rude and 'tough' exterior. but obviously, he wasn't that tough.
when they hit yoongi in the face a second time, he heard a voice call out, "hey, guys, cut it out!" when he looked to see who it was, he saw that it had been jimin. "what? are you a fag now, too?" the boy who had previously been hitting yoongi said, turning to jimin. "don't say those kinds of things." jimin angrily said as he pushed the boy to the ground. "oh, so you are? i bet this little bitch over here is your boyfriend!" the boy yelled and everyone else on the team started laughing.
jimins face suddenly turned red with anger. "stop calling him that! what the fuck is wrong with you?!" he yelled, straddling the boy and hitting him over and over. yoongi just watched as his 'innocent' jimin had the boy crouched over in pain. "hey, are you alright?" he said sweetly as he crouched down beside yoongi. yoongi tried to get up, but his head felt light and he just fell to the ground again. jimins face filled with worry. "let me get you to the nurse. i think her office is still open at this time." jimin said quickly as he picked up yoongi bridal style. if he wasn't so out of it, yoongi would have just melted in jimins arms.
when they got to the nurse, and she was patching him up the best that she possibly could, jimin stayed with him. he had his hand on the small of yoongi's back and he would occasionally rub soothing circles into the skin there. once she was finished, jimin insisted on walking yoongi home, even though yoongi had told him that he would be completely fine. "you usually look pretty tough. i didn't think that you would get beaten up." jimin said to him as they were walking back, his hand still on the small of yoongis back.
yoongi blushed at his words in embarrassment and put his head down. jimin saw him do this and immediately regretted his words, "no, no, not that it was a bad thing! i just didn't want you to get hurt." he smiled softly. suddenly, yoongi remembered that he hadnt even thanked jimin for helping him. "oh my god! im so stupid! jimin, thank you so much for what you did for me." yoongi offered him a small smile, shaking his head.
jimin's heart pounded when he saw how cute and frazzled yoongi looked when he realized he had never thanked him. jimin thought he was just the cutest thing ever. jimin nodded and said a small 'no problem' to him before they continued walking in a comfortable silence. "you were pretty tough back there. i never would have thought you could do that." yoongi said to him suddenly. "yeah? well, i got a few tricks up my sleeve." jimin chuckled and pulled yoongi closer.
when they finally made it to yoongi's house, he remembered that his mom wasn't going to be home until late that night. "so, i guess ill see you lat-" but yoongi was cut off shortly by a soft pair of lips hitting his own. he was surprised, and quite shy about kissing jimin, because he had never done that kind of thing before. but somehow, with jimin, he knew exactly what to do. eventually the kiss turned into a heated make out session and yoongi was pulling him inside, "you want to stay for a little while?" he smirked. "woah there tiger." jimin chuckled, his own smirk spreading across his face. and before he knew it, yoongi already had him inside and jimin already had yoongi pinned up against a wall.
