~Haley's P.O.V~
That night changed my life. Me and Daryl were in an argument because I had gone out there alone. But the most unexpected amazing thing happened. I was in the middle of talking when he kissed me. I felt the most electrifying moment. He confessed about his feelings and I did the same. The next morning I was in my cell strapping on my boots when I noticed a figure standing at the doorway. I looked up to relieve Daryl just looking at me
"What are you looking at?"
"You" He flat out said
I chuckled and tied the shoelaces on the boots
"So are we really gonna do this?" I said as I finished and walked up to him only standing a few feet away
"Do you want to?"
"Hell yea" I laughed slightly "You?" I asked awaiting his answer
"Nows a greater time then ever. Right?" I just looked at him
"Of course" He smiled and gave me a quick kiss before he left to the cell block. We ate breakfast and I went out to keep guard
~Two months later~
It had now been two months since me and Daryl became something. I don't think it's a good thing to say that these past two months have been the best of my life. We were now making a home at the prison, it was safe. We said I love you everyday for the first time. It was crazy because I've never been soft, neither has he. I was outside holding my bow and arrow looking out at the walkers leaning up against the gate wanting to get in. They were snarling very lowly. I sat dow on the hard cement floor. The sun was burning on my skin but I was used to it. I always wondered, what my life would be like if I hadn't ever met Daryl. I really do love him, everything about him. I just don't know what I would do if I ever lost him. I would lose myself if I ever did. My thoughts got interrupted when Carl called my name
"What's up?" I asked standing up
"Rick needs to talk to you"
I nodded and followed him inside to the cell block and approached Rick
"Feel like going on a run?" He asked
"Always"
He nodded "Your going with Daryl he should be waiting outside"
I nodded as I walked to my cell grabbed a bag. I walked outside to meet Daryl as he was sitting on his motorcycle. I hopped on as I greeted him with a kiss and wrapped my arms around his waist. Glenn opened and closed the gate for us. We rode and rode to look for any supplies anywhere. He began to slow down until we hit a big store named Big Lots. As soon as we parked we began walking to the store.
"Think it's good?" I asked
"Well let's find out"
We walked closer and quietly making sure not to make any noise. I watched him as he walked in front of me holding his crossbow. He looked pretty sexy the way he walked, the way he looked, everything about him. We banged on the door waiting for any walker to come out. We waited for about 2 minutes until a walker began snarling against the window. He killed the walker as we walked in looking around until we dipersed to get supplies. The store looked like it was upside down, everything was everywhere. I turned to an aisle to see a dead corpse. It's face was completely off. I grabbed a couple food cans and other food products. I heard Daryl in the next aisle I began to walk over when I felt a rush of dizziness instantly hit me. I was claustrophobic and the fact that there was no air condition and the store smelled like rotting dead flesh really got to me. I shook it off and walked over to him throwing the bag over my shoulders
"I'm gonna get some air, I can't be in here much longer" I said
He nodded as he kept putting things in his bag. I walked outside breathing in and out smelling the air outside. It wasn't fresh but it was a lot better then being inside
~Daryl's P.O.V~
We were inside getting anything we could. We had never been to this place before. The whole area smelled like rotting corpses which makes sense. There were dead walkers everywhere, blood everywhere. I walked in an aisle and began grabbing whatever I could and stuffing it in the bag. I heard commotion and I knew it was her. Suddenly she appeared next to me
"I'm gonna get some air, can't be in here much longer" She said
I hesitated but nodded as she walked out. She didn't look so well, I had forgotten she is claustrophobic. I hurried packing whatever I could. I finished until I felt my heart stop. I heard screaming coming from outside. Which is where she is. I frantically closed the bag and strapped it on my back as I grabbed my crossbow and ran outside. There was a walker on top of her trying to take a bite. It was snarling and she was screaming trying to get it off of her. I grabbed it's back and threw it to the ground on it's stomach. I grabbed my knife and stabbed it in the head. I breathed heavily in and out as I helped her up
"You ok?"
She nodded but I knew she was lying. I examined her making sure she wasn't bitten or scratched. We began walking to the motorcycle. She stayed silent. I looked at her as she walked on front of me. Man she looks absolutely gorgeous. Everything about her was perfect to me. Everytime I thought about her or talked to her I get this weird feeling in my stomach, like butterflies. She means everything to me. I guess I'm just completely in love with her.
