It had been an hour since Amy and Rory had told everyone at the party that they got married a couple of nights before and Amy was at a table talking to her parents.
"I know you both must be disappointed that you weren't at the wedding but it really was a last minute decision".
Amy's dad looked at her, "we aren't disappointed Amelia, we're happy that you and Rory are finally married, we couldn't ask for a better son in law".
Amy smiled at them and then at Rory as he came over and sat next to her, taking her hand, "hey".
"Hey" Amy smiled and kissed him gently.
Rory smiled back at her and looked at her parents, "do you mind if I borrow your daughter for a few minutes, we haven't had our first dance as husband and wife yet and I've just requested a really good song".
Amy's mum smiled, "go ahead".
Rory took Amy's hand and led her to the dance floor as the song came on, holding her close when they got there.
She smiled and rested her head on his shoulder, moving in time with him.
"Are your legs okay today?"
"Yeah they're fine, no trouble at all today".
"Good, because I love dancing with you".
She smiled and looked at him before kissing him a couple of times, "I love you".
"I love you too".
