Isabelle's POV
To tell the truth, I'm still a bit shaken up from the incident this morning. I'm just glad that Alexander is okay. I think I might've gone insane if he had drowned.
"Alexander?" I whisper, turning over to face him in bed.
"Yes, Iz?" He replies groggily.
"I was really scared-no wait-terrified on the boat today. I thought I lost you."
"But you didn't."
"But I could've!"
"I won't let that happen, Izzy."
I smile at him and give him a peck.
"Is that all I get?" He asks.
I quickly give him and other and I giggle.
"There you go," I say.
"You tease," he chuckles.
"Like you aren't?" I retort, and I was right.
"Of course not," he replies.
Suddenly, I hear a knock at the door. I flip my head towards it.
"I'll go see who it is," Alexander whispers.
He tiptoes to the door and opens it. He gasps, then sighs.
"Oh, it's just you Sophia. I thought you were an axe murderer!" He exclaims.
"I can't sleep," she admits.
That's one thing I really appreciate about Sophia. She almost always speaks her mind. To be honest, I don't know if I'd be that open.
"Come here," I tell her. I lift the covers and she slides in on my left. Xander gets in on my right. Great. I'm in the middle.
"What's wrong?" I ask.
"I had a nightmare," she answers truthfully.
"Do you want to talk about it?" Xander asks.
"No," she says, shuddering.
"Well, goodnight, Sophia," I yawn. "Goodnight, Xander."
They all mumble replies and we fall asleep in minutes.
