"What's happening here...?!" Shizune couldn't help but exclaim as she looked at Tsunade and Naruto getting into fighting positions, facing each other. "How is this happening and how is Tsunade-Sama going to face a child...?" She murmured.
"Oink Oink." The pig on her chest exclaimed.
"Come on, brat, I'm going to give you a beating your mother never gave you!" She said fiercely.
"..." Naruto didn't respond to the taunt and somehow she might be right, after all, Kushina never laid a hand on Naruto and anything related to fighting could confirm those words.
Naruto wasted no time, he quickly advanced against the woman again and this time, Tsunade was more prepared, and punched Naruto, their fists collided against each other, creating an explosion of force.
'What?! How can this guy be so strong, wait... why can't I feel his chakra...' Tsunade was having a hard time as she matched strength with a random child who started following her, but now she started to notice things she hadn't felt before, she initially thought he had little chakra due to being a child, but his speed and strength were anything but ordinary, and yet, she still couldn't feel the use of chakra.
"What kind of bone structure is this that can withstand this amount of force!?" She couldn't help but exclaim as her punch competed with Naruto's at this moment.
The explosion caused both to be thrown to the opposite sides, while Naruto and Tsunade stood 10 meters apart from each other the ground at the center of their blow was devastated.
"..." Shizune was quite frightened by that.
"That brat." Tsunade murmured.
"..." Naruto remained silent.
Naruto acted again, advancing against Tsunade who didn't stay back, throwing punches when Naruto approached, in the next moment, Naruto and Tsunade started to throw punches at high speed against each other while their arms disappeared and explosions began to happen at this moment in front of them.
The fight became so intense that Shizune had to protect herself from the wind made by their punches hitting each other, which was quite strange and if Shizune was dazed, Tsunade was trying to understand what was happening.
But still, she was stronger at this moment and continued punching Naruto and gaining an advantage, until she finally breached his defense and landed a punch on the boy, breaking his mask as he fell a few meters away.
"As expected, you don't seem to be affected by my punch..." Tsunade murmured and looked at the boy with interest to see what was underneath the mask.
"It seems I have to use Haki to deal with her..." He murmured and looked directly into her eyes.
"Hm...?!" Tsunade looked at him surprised before speaking. "You remind me of someone from the Leaf Village and if I'm not mistaken, Jiraiya found me a few years ago and said he had taken two apprentices... daughters of the Fourth Hokage... The Hokage also had a son, one with a special condition that didn't come with chakra... you remind me a lot of the Hokage and I can't feel chakra in you..." Tsunade finished her reasoning almost like a whisper, after all, she remembered clearly when Jiraiya had found her, being born without chakra was something hard to believe someone could live like that.
"I can't feel chakra in you..." She said trying to concentrate like a sensor ninja, but Naruto almost seemed invisible to her in her range of reach, as if he didn't exist.
She was stunned for a while until she spoke again with more clarity. "What is the son of the Fourth Hokage doing here? You didn't come to collect a debt..." She questioned him seriously before her hundreds of internal questions.
"Son of the Fourth Hokage!?" Shizune exclaimed looking at Naruto dazed.
"You are smart, I must admit..." Naruto spoke, he wasn't hurt at all. "I want you to help me with something. I have a friend of mine who is dying." Naruto spoke.
Tsunade raised an eyebrow. "So that's why you came after me... Sorry, I'm a retired medic and tell me something, how did you find me?" She asked curiously.
"A loan shark informed me after searching for you for a week." He said and continued in a more serious tone. "About the other matter... help me and I'll leave you alone." Naruto spoke.
"You think you can negotiate with me, brat?!" She said with an arrogant tone.
"Only if you don't want this anymore." Naruto said and showed a necklace in his hand.
"That?!" Tsunade was surprised by this and quickly looked at her neck, realizing the absence of that accessory.
"No..." Shizune covered her mouth, already knowing what was going to happen.
Tsunade hadn't even noticed when she was busy throwing a punch at Naruto, who ended up taking the attack to grab the necklace. Tsunade was trembling because this was something she had never lost or let anyone take.
"You..." Tsunade began as Naruto narrowed his eyes seeing her hostility increase. "You're going to give that back now, because your father won't even recognize you when he sees you again!" She snarled and advanced without holding back against Naruto.
He wasn't going to hold back this time either, his arms covered in Armament Haki, he advanced against the woman exploding the place again, but this time Naruto had the advantage.
Tsunade felt being pushed back as Naruto was winning this bout. A second later, she was launched like a rocket, exploding some rocks and trees behind her, while Shizune tried to protect herself from the wind of the explosion and looked alarmed and worried.
"Tsunade-sama," She couldn't believe her eyes, but it didn't take long for a new explosion to occur at the place where Tsunade fell, making the woman appear, looking seriously at Naruto.
"Your hands got a strange layer... but what is this? This isn't chakra," She was a mess, despite not having blood, her clothes were a bit worn, and her hair disheveled, maintaining a curious and even alarmed look towards Naruto's arms.
Naruto, seeing that there wasn't much more to hide, shrugged. "These are my powers," he said simply.
"Tsk." Tsunade, despite the doubts, still advanced against Naruto again, while their clash became unparalleled chaos at that moment.
Shizune had to move away as the whole area was devastated with explosions as Naruto and Tsunade resumed exchanging blows. "She's not holding back anymore," Shizune murmured as Tsunade seemed to take the fight against the child very seriously now.
Tsunade didn't want to lose against that dark mass on the boy's arms, which made him even stronger and more resistant.
Trees broke, the ground exploded, and the sound echoed upwards, even alarming the city they were near a short while ago. Explosions happened all the time for the next 30 minutes as Naruto and Tsunade moved against each other while their fight continued in the forest.
Naruto appeared in front of Tsunade the next moment, looking at her with interest, after all, there wasn't a winner in this battle, or at least not using his fruit, he seemed to be enjoying himself, while the scenery was quite destroyed.
Meanwhile, Tsunade defended against a punch from Naruto and countered with a kick, despite not using all her powers, this little boy could match her in strength, which already shocked her, and this increased even more with the absence of chakra, wondering how he could have been born this way. 'It seems not even Jiraiya had noticed such a thing in the Hokage's son, at least not back then.' She murmured internally.
She stepped away from him without attacking further as Naruto seemed to do the same while landing on one of the devastated terrains. Tsunade sighed, seeing that she couldn't win against the boy, not without using her true technique, so she looked at him seriously. "Will you give me back the necklace if I help your friend?" She said, and Naruto nodded hearing this.
"Will you also leave me alone after I treat him?" She asked a second question, and Naruto nodded again.
"Will you answer some questions I have for you?" Naruto nodded a third time, already expecting something like this after that fight.
"Where is your friend?" She asked.
"He's in the south of the country, but I can bring him here, which I believe will be much faster," Naruto informed.
"What's the problem with him?" she asked.
"He has internal issues. His life energy is decreasing every month. He won't last more than 3 years," Naruto informed.
"Then we'd better go there," Tsunade conditioned. "His situation is not good from what you've told me. Just show me the way. We still have some time before the day ends," she informed, and Naruto agreed.
"Shizune, let's follow the boy," Tsunade shouted towards one side of the devastated field. Shizune appeared a bit cautious and relieved that no one was injured, with only a few marks from punches and scratches.
Naruto wasted no time and began to leap through the air, forcing Tsunade to follow him, also looking astonished at this. After all, now she discovered how he always appeared in front of them without her noticing. He could circle above, and without chakra, she couldn't even feel him.
So, they traveled to the south, leaving that place. Tsunade didn't stop asking Naruto questions while jumping through the trees looking up where the boy was.
"Does your father know you're here?" she asked.
"No," he simply replied.
"Do your parents know about these abilities, this strength?"
"No," he replied again.
"So, you're hiding this from them? Who else knows, besides this friend of yours, I believe?" she asked.
"Almost no one knows, just a few people who have witnessed it, like you."
"Why do you hide this power?" she asked curiously, after all, having such ability is too powerful to be ignored.
"Because I'll be leaving soon, and if I show my abilities, it's very likely that I'll be treated as a threat and put pressure on my father, even being the Hokage, or something worse like trying to study me or something. After all, I plan to go to other villages, but not as a ninja from Konoha, something like a tourist or visitor, the less the world knows I can be a threat, the freer I will be." Naruto spoke. After all, he knew the problems that could arise once his parents found out about his powers and the village treated him as a threat and a deserter.
Tsunade listened to this and understood the boy's thought. "I can understand that, but this is not a thought that an 8-year-old child should have..." she spoke. Though she really could understand that.
"..." Naruto didn't respond. He also believed this, but children are already instructed to kill at this age, so it shouldn't be so strange in this world.
"Who is your friend?" she asked since he hadn't commented on her previous statement and still having time, wanted to gather information about the patient. Shizune, despite hearing the whole conversation, remained silent the entire time.
"Kimimaro, from the Kaguya Clan. I don't know much about what's happening in the Land of Water, but it seems there was a clan purge there, and I found the boy a while ago, I brought him to the Land of Fire. However, he has this problem. I'd like to help him," he spoke, and she nodded. The rest of the journey was in silence, until they finally found the location where Kimimaro was.
