I woke up this morning and just laid in bed. I didnt feel like getting up. Jaylicia was laid across my stomach. I pulled out my phone and went straight to instgram. I checked my messages.

I didnt know who that was. I went through some of the other messages from the number and smilied . Me and the person text all the time, we have good convos, i just don't remember the number who this is.
I got up and washed my face and brushed my teeth. i was just walking around the house, so ima stay in the boyshorts and lil shirt i slept in. I walked into the kitchen and opened up the refrigerator. I pulled out eggs bacon and pancakes. I pulled out everything i needed to cook this stuff.
When everything was laid out i pulled out my phone and went to Google How do i make pancakes, i typed into the search box and looked through the results. I seen a video and clicked on it and waited for it to load.
I heard a knock at the door and looked around confused. Who was at the door this early. I stood on my tippy toes and looked through the peep hole before opening the door. "Haay." I smilied
He wrapped his arms around my waist, "haay shorty." He smirked. I pulled away and let him come in. "I thought my name was jayliah?" I asked wondering who shorty was
"It is but you been my shorty since day one." He said going into the kitchen and i followed. Talking was coming from my phone and he picked it up and started laughing
"Did you really find a video on how to make pancakes, when i told you i was coming to cook yall breakfast." I stanched my phone out his hand. "So and i forgot you were coming." I said leaving the video and sitting my phone down
"And you didnt text me back this morning." He crossed his arms. I laughed, "oh im sorry, i didnt know that was you." I said honestly
"Ima let you slid just because." He said washing his hands and i did the same
"Whatever, lets cook now."
"Okay ima let yo extra slow ass make the eggs since thats easier." He said opening the container. I opened my mouth and crossed my arms.
He laughed and pulled me beside him, "im just playing bestfriend, come on." I rolled my eyes and picked up three of the eggs and cracked them into the bowl.
"Thats good now a little bit of this and then beat the eggs." He said slowly. "Stop talking to me like im slow, you ass." I mugged following his instruction
He laughed, "im not i just wanna make sure you understand." He said moving over to the grill pan and putting the pancake mix on there. He watched over them while i stirred the eggs
I stirred them but they was taking to long to mix together causing me to sigh out loud. He turned around and laughed before walking up behind me and grabbing the spoon over my hand.
"I didnt asked you to stirr them i said you gotta beat them." He said and tilt the bowl stirring hard
I was standing infront of him with my back to his chest and i felt like being petty. While he was beating the eggs i pushed my ass on his manhood and grind a little bit. He chuckled and kissed my neck, "dont start some you cant finish shorty."
I laughed and moved from under him. I flipped his already cooking pancakes and took the ones that were done off. I opened the pack of bacon and put them on the pan. " i hope im doing this right." I mumbled
He got out plates, cups and forks. He did the eggs and i finished the bacon. After while everything was done and he made the plates.
I looked in the refrigerator and seen strawberry and whip cream and thought that would be good on the pancakes.
I sat it the counter and opened up the strawberry container. I turned around to rince a knife off and when i turned back around whip cream was being squirted on my nose causing me to scream
Tezz was dien of laughter and walked up grabbing my waist. "Awee come here let me lick it off." I laughed and turned my head but he brought me closer to him
Before i could move my head out his way he flicked his tongue over the top of my nose. I laughed and whipped my nose, "you get on my nerves."
"Hmm you know were else i wanna lick some whip cream off you." He smirk holding up the strawberries to
I gasped, "oh my god, shut up." I sat hitting him and he laughed.
"Its not even funny, be done by the time i get back." I said walking out. I went back in the room and jaylicia was still sleep.
After she woke up, i stood up, "you hungry?" I asked and she nodded. I grabbed her hand and we walked into the kitchen. Tezz was sitting the plates on the table.
She ran to him and hugged his leg, "haay cat eater." He laughed and picked her up, "hay pretty girl." I smiled and shook my head.
I realized she called him cat eater but ima brush that off and just assume she aint talking about what i think she talking about.
We sat down at the table and ate our food. After we were all done i told them they can go in the living room and ill clean up the kitchen.
I washed off the table and washed my hands before putting the rag into the sink. I walked into the living room and jaylicia was on the floor all into the tv and tezz was kicked back on the couch
I walked in and sat on his lap. He smirked, "why you keep playin with me in these little ass shorts." He whispered
I laughed, "im not playing at all." I whispered back. I got comfortable on his lap and he wrapped his arm around my waist.
After a long while of us watching tv together his phone vibrated causing him to tap my leg so he can go in his pocket. "At jayliah house....yall over there now.....ight im on my way." He spoke before hanging up
I pouted, "you leaving?"
"Yeah that was mario, but ill see you tonight at twin's kickback right?" He said standing up and i nodded. He leaned down and hugged jaylicia and i walked him to the door
He wrapped his arms around me and kissed my cheek, " see you tonight." He said. I waved at him as he pulled out the drive way. I went back and plopped down on the couch now what im gone do
I picked up my phone, it was 2:35. I didn't realize so much time had went by. I got a text from a number saved as bestfrann ❤. I went through sone of the previous text and realized it was london. I decided to call her

"Nothing in bored now, jaquan just left." She said. I feel her becasue tezz just left me to
I laughed, "i feel you, now im stuck watching tv."
"Oh i remember you said you wanted me to do you hair, you wanna go to my grandma house so we can do that." She asked
"Um can you even do hair?"
She smacked her teeth, "ima let that shid since you still trynna get your memory back, but yes jayliah i do hair."
I laughed, "okay let me get dressed and ill call you."
"Okay." She said before we hung. I picked jaylicia up. "You wanna go with lo today?" I asked kissing her face. She giggled, "yess."
We took care of our hygiene before going back into the room. I went with light ripped jeans, a white fitted tee, and my white roshe runs. I was done and helped jaylicia get dressed. I grabbed my wristwatch and blue purse to go with my outfit and jaylicia followed behind me doing the same thing.
I called Lo and let her know we was ready. She was pulling down the street in no time. I locked the house up and got jaylicia car seat putting it in Londons back seat. I strapped jaylicia up and hoped in the passenger side.
I pulled out my phone and took some selfies, "girl im surprised yeen got on yo crop top and shorts." She joked
I laughed, "dont get used to this because im going right back to it." I said. I like my crop tops and shorts it is what it is
"Im thinking about adding hair, how you want it though?" She asked. I thought about it, "um i dont know this my first time." I said
She look at me shook, "thats okay girl i got you." We drove a good distance away. The houses in the area started looking different and better. Like you gotta pay a certain amount to live out here. it was pretty and looked way better than my hood.
We pulled up to this two story house and got out. We walked to the door and rung the doorbell. The door opened and a older lady opened the door with a big smile on her face. She looked good for her age. She brought london into a hug.
"And who are these two pretty ladies?" She asked smiling at me and my sister. "Grandma this is my bestfriend since childhood, jayliah and her little sister jaylicia." London introduced
She hugged us. after a while of us taking we walked up her stairs into a room. I smilied walking in, she had her a beauty chair that they have in hair salons, a mirror stand with hair supplies on it and anl apron laying on the chair. The room was middle size but big enough
"Wow, its like your own little hair salon up in her." I laughed
She smilied, "yes girl, and over there i do make-up and eyebrows, its really easy." She pointed out
"Omg you know what you should do, we only got 1 year left in school before we off and grown. You should go to cosmetology school and open up your own shop."
"I was thinking about that." She smilied. I sat jaylicia on the couch in the back of the room and turned to cartoons. London had to washed the dyr out of my hair first before she started. When she was done with that she went to work.
We had to be here for like a couple of hours until she was done. I looked in the mirror and my mouth dropped, "omg london is so pretty." I squealed hugging her. She laughed, "told you i can do hair."
I was happy it looked pretty as fuck. I couldn't stop smiling, "so how do your hair get done , you go somewhere." I asked looking at her
She shook her head, "no i do it." I sided eye her. Aint no way in hell she give herself extensions and they turn out decent. "On god, i can do it now." She said
I let her do her hair and watched tv with Jaylicia. It took london a little longer since she was doing her own head. She told me not to look until she was completely done so i didnt. Its was around 3 something when she got done with my hair and now 8.
"See im done." London said causing me to jump up. My mouth fell ajar. London is like some kind of precessional. I looked up and it was done perfect.

"Yeah bitch you talented." Jaylicia repeated throwing her lil hands up and we laughed. " dont say that." We laughed
After finishing up here we Got back in london's car. "Miracle just texted me she said they at her house." She said and i nodded
"You going to twin them kick out?" She asked
I strugged, "i dont know, i might." She looked at me, "aint no i might, girl we is going." She said
I guess ill just let jaylicia stay at ms.lauren's home. We drove all the way back to where we lived. After dropping jay off we headed to miracle house. It was already 8 something.
We pulled up and knocked on the door. Miracle answer and cheesed big as hell, "yass fuck em up, yall hair is on fleek." She said bring us into a hug. We laughed and thanked her.
"Yall going to twin them kickback aint yall?" London asked plopping down on her couch
"Duhh." unique said
"Yall know how we should go right?" Channel asked with a smirk and we all looked at her. She went in her purse and pulled out a small baggie
"Its the only way." She smilied and we laughed. They started rolling up. After a minute they were done and started smoking.
I stared at all of them, "what the hell is wrong with yall." I shook my head and they laughed, " girl you need to try this shit." Unqiue said slowly
"Nope i dont smoke, and im not about to start just because yall niggas doing that shit." I said got up going into the kitchen.
My back was staring to hurt so i decided to take the pills my doctor told me. I got out a water bottle and took out two pills. I remember how tezz told me to do it. A small smile form across my face thinking about him, i dont know why. After i was done i went back into the living and these girl was still smoking that shit. I tured on the tv and went through the channels.
"Ayee stop right there next Friday on." Channel laughed for no reason causing me to laugh
"Ayee he finna say it." Unique turned the tv up
"Just tell em he can call on tyronnn." We all sung aloud then busted out laughing
We kept watching while they got higher and higher. It was on the part when day day, roach, and Craig was in the shop smoking.
"Miracle?" I called out and she coutinued to stare off. "Miracle." I snapped in her face
"Do you have a vacuum?" I asked and she started laughing
"Yeah in the back." She said laughing
I shook my head, "see thats why yall not suppose to be doing that shit." I chuckled and went to get her vacuum
I came back and turned it on. "Ayee bihh we trynna watch tv." Channel slurred
"Shut up, blow smoke and ima see if it sucks it up like roach did with day day in the movie." I said and she side eyes me before taking a pull from the weed. She let it out and it all went into the vacuum causing us to laugh
"Okay yall its going on 10 oclock if we gone go we needa go now." I said cutting the vaccuum off and standing up
They all followed me out and i decided to drive since they all decided to get high. When we pulled up people were outside, cars were lined up and you could hear the music from inside. Twin had a nice as house though.
We got out and everybody ran off in there own direction but London was still walking with me. We walked in and it smelt like straight weed. It was alot of people here, everybody was sitting down or either dancing.
Twin walked up putting his arm around London and i smilid, they would be so cute together.
I looked around since everybody ran off and left me. I seen mario he was in the corner with some girl causing me to shake my head and chuckle.
I looked around and seen tezz. Some girl was dancing in front of him. He looked up and locked eyes with me then smilied causing me to storm off through the crowd. Ok he had a girl dancing in front of him but dont try and rub that shit in and smile at me.
I walked over to the couch and sat down strolling instagram. Then some boy walked up and sat down beside me. You could tell he was high as fuck. The another boy came up and sat on the other side of me, that nigga was drunk.

This same girl kept walking up to me trying to dance with me and i done told her ass no so many times. She came back dancing on me again and i threw my head back in annoyance. When i looked up i came in eye contact with jayliah, She was starring at me. I smilied looking at her because i seen she got her hair done and she look beautiful.
She stormed off and i watched her confused. Then i noticed this hoe was still in front of me. Jayliah probably thinking i was doing that on purpose, i sighed.
"Man hoe get the fuck out my way." I said moving her out the way and went walking through the crowd. I know jayliah didnt leave because they just got here. I looked around and seen her sitting on the couch. Two boys was on the side of her touching her hair and face. You could see the annoyance all in jayliah face causing me to get mad.
"back yo ass up." I said raising my gun at them. They both looked at me with wide eyes and put they hands up.
"Oh oh this you, my bad." They shuddered and hurried off. I strugged and put my gun away. I smilied down at jayliah, she was sexy as fuck. She was mugging a niqqa hard as hell though. She look sexy doing that too.
I sat down beside her and she scooted over strolling her phone still. I smacked my teeth and stanched her phone causing her to turn around. "Tezz give me my phone." She said annoyed
"Jayliah give me my kiss." I said copying her tone. She let out a sigh and layed her head on the arm of the couch. I chuckled and moved closer to her on the couch.
"Why you doing me like this?" I asked moving closer. She smacked her teeth and pushed me back, "man nigga back the fuck up, you just had that dirty hoe dancing on you then gone try and touch me, thats germs." She said causing me to laugh out loud
"First of all i didnt even touch that girl and you cant be talking about germs with all that horse in your head." I joke flicking her hair
She gasped and her mouth flew open. I was laughing so hard. She stood up but i pulled her back on my lap. She layed back on the couch and i leaned over on top of her. She was mad as fuck but it was funny.

I finally broke her mugg and sbe smiled. I pulled her back up on my lap and she looked away. She got off my lap and sat on the side of me. I went in my pocket and pulled out my blunt. I lit it and took a pull sitting back. She crossed her legs and turned a little resting her hand on my leg.

She stood up and went to walk off but i grabbed her arm, "where you going?" I asked. She chuckled, "to dance." She said and before i could say something back she was off in the crowd.
i sighed. aleast she knows that ass is mine and doesn't need to be griniding aganist another nigga. i finished off my blunt and was satisfied with the feeling of my high.
i stood up and walked through the crowd in search of jaylaih. i seen twin and London in the corner and london looked bout high as fuck. i laughed, from the looks of it london not such a good girl.
i seen jayliah slowly grinding her hips to the music with a cup in her hand and i smilied. i think im falling hard for shorty and i dont care. having hoes aint wassup no more. i just want one down as female to have my back and i have hers and i think jayliah is that girl for me.

we heard loud car marks, then shooting started. a car came swerving around the corner and shooting at the house. i pushed jayliah behind the car and pulled out my gun
me, dee, mario, trey, chris, jaqua and jaquan was standing up shotting back at the car. we hit one of there windows because it bust.
i heard loud cries of agony and looked back i seen jayliah head on the other side of the car and knew it was her cause thats were the cries came from.
we kept shotting at the car then they pulled off. his house wasnt messup up or anything and nan of us got hit. im trynna figure out how jayliah got hit.
i heard a loud scream and it was london running over to jayliah body. i darted over and kneeled down she was bleeding out. i was trying not to panic or get angry but this is the second time she almost got kilt and they were both my fault.
"fuck is yall standing around for bring a car around." i shouted and mario went to pull a car up
"come on jayliah, stay with me." i said on the verge of tears. she had her head rested in my arms and her body was bleeding out more and more. i softly hit the side of her face because her eyes were started to get low
"come on T." dee siad signalling mario had the car here. i lifted jayliah limped body off the ground and carried her to the car. we got in the back seat. mario was driving, london was in the passenger side, and dee was back here with me.
we made the other girls and the rest of the boys stay and get the rest of the folks out the house and just meet us back at the hosiptal. jayliah was laying in my lap and i craddle her head
"is she okay." mario panic
"i dont know man drive faster." i rushed. london had turned around in her seat to see how jayliah was doing but mario told her she had to sit down.
"where you hit at?" i asked jayliah and she slowly pushed her side. thats were i put my hand at and kept it there
"they was close to my brest, what if they shot my titty off." jayliah breathe out said and everybody chuckled
i smilied and a tear fell from my face on to hers. i didnt even know i was crying. she smilied weakly and ran her hand over my face and i grab her hand held it tight
" tezz it hurt so bad, what did i do." she said and tears fell form her eyes
i didnt know how to answer that question i just held her tighter not caring that her blood was getting all over me. her eyes closed causing my eyes to widened, "no, no, jayliah." i called out hitting her cheek
"come on man are we there." i yelled from fear
"yeah yeah, come on." they all rushed out the car. london opened my door and i carried jayliah out and we rushed in. the doctors seen us come in and rushed out. they layed her on a stretcher and rushed to the back.
my head was spinning and i felt anger rising. i walked out the hosiptal and steped outside into the cool summer breeze. "fuckk!" i screamed out
i knew it was that pussy ass new organziation and its over with for them niggas. this is jayliah second time at risk of getting her life taking away and its my fault. just because she has ties with me they feel like she is a target. and jayliah is clueless to it all. she dont know we sell drugs or anything. i feel bad about it but i dont wanna tell her, i dont want her to look at me differently or be mad about anything
maybe i should distance myself from her. im not good for her to be around if she already getting hurt and we aint even a couple yet. i dont want jayliah to go through any of this because she dont deserve it.
the only thoughts that were running through my mind is what is she dont make it. what if she took her last breath in my arms. i cant live with that on my mind. i took a deep breathe
the only way to go about doing this is to be postive because i know jayliah is strong. she the only female that done got shot and still got goofy stuff coming out her mouth, talking about what if they shot her titty off. i aint ever meet a female like jayliah and when you find something special you hold on to it, and thats what ima do.
i took another deep breathe and walked back in. everybody was sitting in the waiting room with there heads down so i assumed the doctor haven't came out yet. london face was red and burried into dee's chest. i know she was hurting, shit we all are.
i sat down and we all waited patiently. it was around one something. the door opened then the rest of the squad rushed in.
" have yall heard anything." jaqua asked first
i shook my head, " nah man we just gotta wait." they all let out a deep breath
"man we cant keep acting like this shit okay man, we all know that the reason this shit is happening is because yall niggas caught up into that drug shit." channel whispered yelled
"right yall gotta tell her something, its not right that she dont know." miracle agreed
"man we aint telling her shit, she can found out when the time is right." i said calmly
"when is that, when she dead and we all standing over her casket." channel snapped

jaquan walked in and lo got up and hugged him before they sat down together causing dee to look some type of way but quickly changed it. i think he kinda likes london he just never spoke on it. but from he looks of it twin might like her to.
we was sitting there for a good hour or two before a doctor walked out with a clip board, "family of jayliah stone." he called out
me, trey, chris, dee, london, miracle, jaquan, channel, mario, kiesha, and jaqua stood up and walked over to him. he looked at us then at his clip board, " so is she okay, did she make it." unqiue asked
he let out a deep breath then looked us all in our eye, " well the bullet through her upper side. it was about 3mm from her spin. she was put in surgery immediately." He said in a depressing tone
He was starting to piss me the fuck off if his ass dont get to it. "You have one luckily friend. she survived the bullet." he said. Its like a wave of relief rush through my body and everybody smilied
"was she recently in any accidents or injuries?" he asked
i nodded, " yeah she was in a car accidents."
"okay well due to that, she might be in pain. especially her back we will give her some more meds though." he informed
"can we see her ?" i asked i know we gotta wait a couple hours after someone is out of surgery so it should be okay by now . he agreed and we followed behind
we walked in and she was sitting up in the bed, she looked like she was in so much pain. her eyes were open and she smilied when we walked in. the nurse left out and it was just us.
"hay yall." she said weakly
"hay liah, how you feeling." london asked
"hurting." she answered
"what happen anyways why was they shooting?" she asked and we all looked around at eachother
"we dont know thats what we trynna figure out." mario finally answered knowing i didnt wanna let it be known yet.
"this shit crazy man, i dont like hospitals and here i am laying in one for the second time." she said shaking her head. i couldnt say nothing. i didn't know what to say.
"tezz give me my phone." she said and i went in my pocket remembering i took it at the kick back
she got it out my hand and dialed a number. "hay ms.lauren sorry for calling so late." she spoke softly into the phone
she asked if jaylicia could stay the night at her house. ms lauren agreed before they got off the phone. we stayed a few minutes but left letting her get some sleep. since it was minor surgery she was able to come home tommorow. i wanted to be the one to pick her up and take her home.
im glad jayliah survived that bullet, i thought she was done. i realized from these last events that i really care for her and aint no telling how ima feel if she actually gets her life taking away.
