The golden sunlight filtered through the canopy above, casting a warm glow on the path over which Srinav walked. The leaves rustle under his feet as he contemplates his mission - to aid Krishna in soothing the ire of Radha, which was like a storm brewing in the horizon. Determined to assist Krishna pacify her emotions, Srinav pondered on the best way to approach the delicate situation.

As he approached Krishna, he noticed the somber expression on his face, a stark contrast to the usually joyful demeanor. Srinav knew that he had to deliver the news carefully.

"Taat," he knelt down, causing Krishna to look at him with hopeful eyes, a smile making its way on his lips.

"Kya Radha ka maan tuta ?" Krishna asked, holding the shoulders of Srinav, "Kaho na, usne mujhe kshama kar diya ?"

Srinav sadly shook his head, "Nahi. Woh abhi bhi krodhit hai."

The news pierced Krishna's heart, leaving him saddened and disappointed. The air around them seemed to thicken with emotion as Krishna contemplated how to mend the rift between him and Radha.

Krishna sighed, "Kya karu ? Kaise manayu ?"

In that moment of contemplation, a spark of hope ignited in Srinav's mind. An idea blossomed within him like a flower in full bloom.

"Hasa do !" Srinav said.

Krishna looked at him quizzically, "Hasa du ?"

Srinav nodded, "Yadi hasane mei safal ho gaye, toh woh swayam apna maan tyaag dengi."

As Krishna looked on, Srinav conjured pieces of brilliant and resplendent garments with his divine powers. It appeared that the fabric had been woven from the blue sky itself. The radiance of it glistened under the sun, like the glittering water of a river.

"Ab Shyam se Shyamaa sakhi ban, apne priyatam ko manayiye." He grinned.

"Yeh uchit rahega." Krishna's eyes lit up.

Excitement gleaming in his eyes, he eagerly reached for the garments. Krishna, usually graceful and composed, now stood fumbling with the intricate pieces, trying to figure out which goes where. The fabric twisted and turned, eluding his attempts with each move. Frustration mingled with amusement as Krishna's earnest efforts only resulted in a tangled mess.

"Arrey Taat, aise nahi.... Ulta hai.... Woh avagunthan hai, kesho par pehena jata hai.... Antariya nahi hai woh.... Upar ata yeh bhaag, uttariya hai yeh...." Srinav said looking at Krishna's struggle.

Krishna's fingers fumbled with the delicate folds of the fabric, causing him to twist and turn over and over, in an attempt to dress himself. The garments seemed to have a mind of their own, slipping out of his grasp just as he thought he had it secured.

Srinav shook his head and finally decided to step in to assist, "Sewa ka avsar de."

Krishna's lips formed a slight pout as he handed over the blue garment to Srinav. With expert hands, Srinav deftly draped the fabric over Krishna, twirling and adjusting it with skillful finesse, and then wrapping his curly locks in a bun and pinning the avagunthan. The vibrant colors of the fabric seemed to come alive against Krishna's radiant skin.

Srinav bit his lip, trying to suppress a laugh as he beheld Krishna dressed as a maiden. The sight of the mighty god attempting to embody femininity was simply too much for him to handle. Despite his efforts, a snicker escaped him, prompting Krishna to shoot him a playful glare.

"Mai vichitra lag raha hu kya ?" Krishna asked.

"Nahi nahi. Aap toh tribhuvan sundari lag rahe ho." Srinav chuckled, "Ab jaayiye."

Radha was lying desolately on a swing, her brow furrowed with anger. The creaking of the swing echoed through the trees, matching the turmoil in her mind. Her friends gathered around her, their faces etched with concern and confusion, unsure of how to soothe her unrest.

Her friends exchanged worried glances, unsure of what to do. Firstly she was suffering pangs of separation from Krishna, but her anger was not allowing her to meet him. They were feeling helpless in the face of her stormy emotions.

Suddenly Krishna, dressed as a maiden, emerged from the trees. The moment the eyes of Ashtsakhis fell upon the newcomer, a frown appeared on their faces. She seemed awfully familiar, they all thought as they saw her approach.

Feeling their scrutinizing gaze upon himself, Krishna smiled nervously as he took the edge of the avagunthan pinned on his hair, to his face, covering half of it, feigning humility.

"Sakhiyo, maine suna ki tumhari swamini atyant kasht mei hai." He said in a soft voice, mimicking the feminine tone.

Vishakha said, "Sahi suna. Radha apne priya se rusht hai. Aur virah ki vedna seh rahi hai."

"Oh ho." Krishna muttered, "Toh mai abhi unki peeda har leta- leti hu. Mujhe uss Maanini ke paas le chalo, aur kaho ki Shyamaa sakhi aayi hai."

Despite their suspicions, they brought the mysterious maiden to Radha, hoping that she could bring solace to their desolate friend.

Lalita said, "Radha, aapse milne Shyamaa sakhi aayi hai."

As Radha's eyes fell over Krishna, in the guise of the maiden, a sense of peace seemed to wash over her. Her anger slowly dissipated as she gazed into the maiden's eyes, a glimmer of recognition sparking within her. A sense of familiarity washed over Radha as she gazed at the maiden, a feeling of inexplicable connection tugging at her heartstrings.

Radha sat up, and curiously looked at the unfamiliar yet familiar maiden, "Sakhi, tumhare roop ne toh mere man ko mohit kardiya hai. Batao, kaun ho tum ?"

Krishna smiled and in a feathery voice said, "Karunamayi, mai aapki sevika hu. Kuch log mujhe Shyamaa sakhi kehte hai, toh kuch Mohini."

Radha couldn't help but be enchanted by the maiden's aura of mystery and warmth, and her soothing words. There was something about her that felt both comforting and exciting at the same time.

"Sakhi," Krishna said, "Aapka yeh dukh ka nivaran mai abhi pata laga lungi. Bas mujhe apna haath dikhao, mujhse bada jyotish koi nahi."

"Huh ?" Radha raised her eyebrows.

Before she could respond, Krishna was quick to take her hand by the wrists, "Arrey dikhao toh."

Seeing the maiden examine her palm, Radha's curiosity grew. While Krishna revelled in the opportunity to hold her hands that were as soft as freshly bloomed lotus. He traced the lines of her palm. His touch sent shivers down her spine, and she felt a sense of familiarity and comfort wash over her.

Krishna smiled and then put a fake expression of concern on his face, "Arrey arrey.... Uff ho.... O Mahadev.... O Bhagwati...." He clicked his tongue.

"Kya huya Shyamaa sakhi ?" Indulekha voiced the worries of the rest of the friends.

Krishna cast a side glance at her and said, "Sabhi grah bigde huye hai, sabhi dosh lage huye hai...."

The friends exchanged troubled glances, their faces etched with deep frowns.

"Kya koi upaaye nahi hai ?" Vishakha asked.

Krishna smiled, "Hai na. Vrindavan ke mukhiya Nand Maharaj ka ek putra hai, Krishna naam hai. Jaake uske paer pakad lo. Fir koi grah, koi dosh, koi nakshatra kuch nahi bigaad sakta."

The Ashtsakhi's were bewildered, "Yeh kaisa upaaye hai ?"

Lalita looked at the maiden up and down, and then her eyes fell upon the flute tugged behind her back. And then it all made sense to her.

"Arrey bhramit na ho." Lalita said as she snatched the flute from Krishna's back, and showed it to the rest, "Yeh Shyamaa sakhi nahi, Shyaamsundar hai !"

She grabbed Krishna by the forearm, pulling him up and playfully hitting his back with the flute. The lord winced and jumped, "Lalitey !" He exclaimed, this time in his real voice.

Witnessing this, a smile slowly emerged on Radha's face, eventually blossoming into giggle. And then she burst into laughter, causing everyone to freeze. Her friends watched as her laughter echoed through the forest, realizing that her anger had finally dissipated. Krishna sighed in relief.
