"What the hell, you know everything is over," she said, her expression filled with shock.

"Yeah, and guess who I got married to... Wait, wait, do you even know who married your sister?" I asked, wanting to instill a sense of fear in her.

"What? You married Vanya..." she said, grabbing my collar in a fit of anger.

"Back off, I'm married now, and I can't stand it when other girls touch me," I replied, pushing her away.

"How dare you," she yelled, her voice filled with rage.

"Don't raise your voice. You know exactly why I married your sister, or do I need to remind you?" I said, lowering my voice to a dangerous tone.

"You know, I was in love with you, but you, you, selfish girl, just used me," I continued.

"You know we were about to get married, but you filed a complaint against me just a day before the wedding, accusing me of Raped you..." I said, punching the wall in frustration.

"I spent two months in jail, and when the police were about to arrest you, you fled the village, didn't you?" I said, my anger boiling over.

"Yes, I did," she replied, seeming indifferent to it all.

"Well, now just wait and watch what I'll do," I warned her, storming off and getting into my car.

As I entered the room, my gaze fell upon her, Vanya, peacefully sleeping on the bed. My initial reaction was frustration as I noticed she hadn't positioned herself properly for a comfortable sleep. "Damn, she didn't sleep in the right position," I whispered to myself, feeling a mix of annoyance and concern. Without hesitation, I gently lifted her in my arms and carefully laid her down, ensuring she was fully settled on the bed.

As I watched her sleep, a single tear escaped from her closed eyes. It was in that moment that I truly felt the depth of her pain. The difference between us was that I had experienced my share of heartache due to a girl I had fallen deeply in love with, while Vanya was suffering from her own struggles caused by certain individuals.

In that tender moment, I reached out and held her hand in mine, intertwining our fingers. "No evil eye can touch you now," I whispered softly, my voice filled with determination.

"I will do everything in my power to protect you, but I can't deny that I'm afraid of myself. What if I become the source of your pain? But I promise you, Vanya, if I ever do anything to hurt you, I won't let myself off the hook easily. I won't allow any harm to come to you because I deeply understand the significance of self-respect for women. I promise to honor and uphold your self-worth."

In that moment, I was overcome with the desire to kiss her hand, a gesture of tenderness and affection. However, I held back, not wanting to disturb her peaceful slumber.

I woke up feeling a bit disoriented, trying to piece together the events of the previous night, but my memory was a complete blank. It was like waking up from a deep sleep, but something felt off. I couldn't shake the feeling that I had a nightmare that disrupted my peaceful slumber.

I glanced at the clock and realized it was already 8 am. Panic set in as I realized I wasn't ready for the day. I quickly grabbed my bag and rummaged through it, finding a beautiful red saree. I knew I had to get ready in a hurry.

I hurriedly made my way to the bathroom, hoping a refreshing shower would help clear my mind. As I stepped out of the bathroom, still in my blouse and petticoat, I accidentally bumped into someone. It was him, the person I wasn't quite ready to face.

He started to say something but stopped abruptly, his gaze shifting away from me. I could see the surprise in his eyes, and I felt a mix of embarrassment and vulnerability. "Sorry, my bad," he muttered, quickly moving towards the cabinet.

Curiosity got the better of me, and I couldn't help but ask, "What time did you wake up?" I needed to distract myself from the awkwardness of the situation.

"7 o'clock. Why?" he replied, seemingly puzzled by my question.

I hesitated for a moment, unsure if I should share my own confusion. "Oh, nothing," I replied, trying to brush off the oddity of the situation.

"Is everyone else awake?" I asked, hoping to shift the focus of the conversation.

"Yeah, don't worry. They're all getting ready in their rooms," he reassured me, offering a small smile.

" achaa," she was again about to ask something, but I cut off her.

"Oh God, you really talk too much! So, keep your mouth shut, wifey. Maybe it's good for you," I suggested, as she looked at me with an innocent expression. What the fuck? My eyes fell upon her neck, and it stirred up some strange feelings within me. Quickly, I averted my gaze and grabbed my towel, heading towards the bathroom.

"Are you going to take a shower?" she asked innocently once again.

I couldn't help but bite my lower lip as I caught sight of her face. With a mischievous grin, I replied, "Wanna join?" Her reaction was unexpected.

She didn't utter a single word but suddenly made an excuse, "Actually, Maa is calling me," and swiftly left the room.

"Idiot girl," I whispered to myself, chuckling a little at the situation. It was amusing how she seemed both intrigued and hesitant at the same time.

As I stood in the bathroom, the steam from the hot water filled the air. I couldn't help but think about her, the way she looked at me, and the magnetic pull between us.

I couldn't help but wonder what would have happened if she had accepted my invitation. Would it have been a moment of pure passion and desire, or would it have revealed a deeper connection that would bind us together forever? Only time would tell.

As I stepped out of the bathroom, the towel wrapped around my waist, I heard the sound of bangles clinking. "RV ji, aapko Maa...aaaa," she shouted, her voice filled with surprise. Confused, I asked her what had happened, but she avoided my gaze, refusing to answer. Irritation started to creep in as her silence continued. I decided to confront her, pulling her closer to me, my hand firmly holding her wrist while the other rested on her waist.

"What happened? I asked you a question, didn't I?" I pressed, my voice tinged with frustration. She hesitated before finally speaking, her eyes avoiding mine.

"RV ji, a-aapki shirt k-kaha hai?" she stammered. Suddenly, it clicked. I realized why she was acting so strangely. I couldn't help but tease her a little, a mischievous smile playing on my lips.

"Oh, I see. So, you're saying I'm not looking hot enough? Or maybe I'm looking too hot, and you can't control yourself, huh, Wifey?" I flirted playfully, trying to lighten the mood.

Her confusion was evident as she repeated the word "wifey" in disbelief. Unable to resist, I gently cupped her cheek, my touch sending a shiver down her spine. But before I could continue, she swiftly pulled away, running out of the room as if I had done something terribly wrong. Confusion mingled with disappointment as I watched her retreat.

"Anyway, I have to find those three fuckers first," I muttered to myself, my mind filled with determination.

As I dressed myself, my thoughts raced back to the events of the previous night. The tension in the air, the heated exchanges, and the sudden disappearance of those three individuals. It was all connected, and I was determined to uncover the truth. But first, I needed to address the unease between us.

I found her sitting in the living room, her eyes fixed on the floor. I approached her cautiously, my heart pounding in my chest. "Hey," I said softly, my voice filled with sincerity. "I'm sorry if I crossed a line earlier. I didn't mean to make you
uncomfortable. I was just trying to lighten the mood, but I understand if it came across differently. Can we talk about what's bothering you?"

She looked up at me, her eyes filled with a mix of emotions. " RV ji, I am a sinful soul, so please don't come near to me, please."

I could sense the pain and insecurity in her words as she spoke about being a "sinful soul." It broke my heart to see her doubting herself, especially when I saw nothing but beauty and purity in her. I wanted to reassure her to make her see herself through my eyes.

"What made you think that you're a sin?" I asked gently, my voice filled with concern. "You're not a sin, Vanya. You're a wonderful person, full of kindness and compassion. We all have flaws, but that doesn't define us. It's love and commitment that truly matters."

She looked at me, her eyes filled with tears. "But how can you see me that way?" she whispered. "I feel like I'm not worthy of you."

I held her close, wiping away her tears. "You are more than worthy, my dear. It's not about being someone's first choice or a replacement. It's about finding love and happiness together. And I believe we can build something beautiful if we give it a chance."

She hesitated for a moment, her eyes searching mine for any sign of doubt or insincerity. But all she found was unwavering love and determination. "I don't want to rush into anything," she said softly.

"But maybe... maybe we can take small steps towards this marriage."

A smile spread across my face, relief flooding through me. "That's all I ask," I replied, my voice filled with gratitude. "Let's take it one day at a time, getting to know each other, building trust, and creating a strong foundation for our future."

I held her even tighter, cherishing the warmth of her embrace. "You're not a sin, Vanya. You're a precious soul."

After their heartfelt conversation, they made their way to the dining table where Vanya had prepared a delicious breakfast. As they sat down, a wave of worry washed over her. What would happen when her family found out about their relationship? But before she could dwell on her thoughts, the sound of Rajveer's grandpa's voice broke through the silence.

"Beta, you've truly outdone yourself with this kheer. It's absolutely delicious!" he exclaimed, a warm smile spreading across his face. His words brought a sense of relief to Vanya's heart, knowing that her cooking had been appreciated.

"Ha ha, beta, this is the perfect opportunity for him to enjoy something sweet," Grandma chimed in, her eyes twinkling mischievously. Laughter filled the room as everyone joined in the light-hearted banter.

"No, Bhagyawan, you know I don't have a sweet," Grandpa replied, feigning indifference but failing to hide the twinkle in his eyes. His playful denial only added to the jovial atmosphere.

"Bhabhi, Dadu is just trying to be modest. The truth is, he loves indulging in sweets, and he's saying this so that you'll force him to eat more!" Aadarsh interjected, unable to resist teasing his grandfather.

"Ha ha, bewkuf, sab bta de taki main meetha kha hi na saku..." Grandpa began, his eyes narrowing playfully as he directed a mock glare at Aadarsh. The room erupted in laughter once again, enjoying the playful banter between the generations.

"Dadu, I'm not lying! Everyone here knows about your sweet," Aadarsh insisted, a mischievous grin on his face. The family continued to tease and laugh, their bond growing stronger with each shared moment.

As Vanya observed the dynamics of the family, a sense of comfort washed over her. She realized that despite her initial worries, this family was filled with love, acceptance, and a deep understanding of each other. Their playful banter and laughter were a testament to the strong bond they shared.

In that moment, Vanya knew that no matter what challenges lay ahead, she had found a family that would support and embrace her. The warmth and love she felt in their presence reassured her that everything would work out, as long as they faced it together.

As they enjoyed their meal, the room filled with stories, laughter, and the joy of being surrounded by loved ones.
