Gregory was hidden inside Freddy's chest compartment as he was being dragged over to the trash compactor in the kitchen. He couldn't tell what was going on anymore, but he had a good idea of what would soon. He heard the sound of metal being dragged, then he heard Freddy being released onto a metal surface. The bear animatronic was laid down on the ground, and he slid down a garbage chute. Gregory's stomach lurched and his insides rose as he was falling down with Freddy.

"Ah!" he yelped desperately.

"Do not worry Gregory. We are falling down because I knew if we would stay behind, they'd crush us. Thankfully, I can let you out of my chest compartment before you get crushed! Now, we just need to get out," Freddy said as the two fell. Freddy's chest compartment opened up mid-fall, and Gregory flew out quick.

Momentarily, the two ended up in a small, dark room. Freddy landed directly on the ground, and Gregory ended up on a pile of trash.

"EW! Where are we?!" Gregory asked. The lights on Freddy's eyes turned on, as they became floodlights for them to see.

"It appears we are in the Sewer, Gregory! The way out isn't too hard to find..." Freddy said. He slowly and shakily stood up from the ground. Freddy's entire body was caked with dirt, grime, and scratches. Many areas of his casing, like his arms, legs, and entire torso. Freddy's Endoskeleton hands and feet were out for the entire world to see. The right side of his face was gone, the inside of his head visible.

"Gregory, be honest... how bad is the damage?" Freddy interrogated in a fallen voice.

Gregory gritted his teeth and frowned sympathetically. The damage done was not pretty.

"It's not good. We need to get you back to Parts and Service," Gregory grimaced.

"I thought so. Here, let me help you out of the garbage pile," Freddy said thoughtfully. He limped over to Gregory and extended his right arm out to him. From the pile, Gregory reached out and pulled himself close to Freddy. However, as he grabbed the animatronic's hand, it fell right off. Gregory fell face-first on the ground.

"Your hand!" Gregory exclaimed.

"My arm sockets are mostly intact. My hands bore the brunt of the fall, unfortunately..." Freddy sighed. The two of them walked over to a metal door like the one in the Security offices. Then, they walked through a round sewer-like tunnel to an open room with a concrete catwalk running along the sides. Everywhere they went was concrete, metal pipes, industrial lighting, and trash. The two continued through the area until they reached a locked gate, needing electricity to open.

"The power is needed to open? Gregory, I am sorry but it looks like we need electricity to access the gate. Will you do me a favor and go turn on the generator? I am not in the condition to do so right now..." Freddy asked.

"Right. I'll deal with it!" Gregory agreed. There was a brick circular hallway to the right of the gate, with black metal catwalks serving as the floor. A bright green cable led down the hallway.

Gregory turned his flashlight on and walked down the hallway, searching for a generator, he assumed it would look like the ones in the Daycare Playhouse. At the end of three sets of hallways, Gregory came across an open room, with multiple piles of trash, brick pillars, and rusted metal safety bars. This wide room was very dimly lit. In the middle of the room was a purple generator with black railings surrounding it.

"There! we can get the gate open finally," Gregory said. He flipped the lever to the generator, which instantly turned on. The engine began to rumble. The shining red light that was on the generator switched to green.

"Freddy is going to need me. I should probably return to him," Gregory said. He ran back the way he came, the sound of his footsteps splashing against the wet concrete floor, then the metal floor of the catwalks in the tunnel. Soon, Gregory made his return to Freddy, he was still out by the place he had left him.

"Gregory! I found something down there. I heard a sound. You are going to have to trust me," Freddy exclaimed.

"What did you find?" Gregory asked.

"TRUST ME!" Freddy yelled. He ran through the now-open gate and Gregory followed him, running down a set of stairs, then over a stack of wood and some metal pipes to reach the other side of the pit. Freddy ran down a hallway in a narrower, but still somewhat open, environment. Then, the two ended up by another locked gate.

Behind the locked gate was the absolutely ruined form of Glamrock Chica.

~~~
Freddy stared in utter shock at what he saw on the other side of the gate. Chica was in a bad state. Her face was ripped open where her beak was, the Endoskeleton over her left arm was showing except her hand, and cracks and dirt were running all the way down her body. She was laying against a wall to Freddy's left.
"Chica! Are you okay?!" he yelled out. Chica whimpered and groaned in pain.
"She's not looking good at ALL. I'll go open the gate," Gregory volunteered.
"There's no time," Freddy roared. He kicked down the gate, the force of his kick breaking the metal hinges. It fell to the ground with a clank, and Freddy kicked it to the side. He kneeled down by the broken bird animatronic, hoping to get her out alive.
"Chica, we can get you out alive. Come with us," Freddy begged.
"I..." Chica breathed.
"Yes?" Freddy prompted.
"I cannot go with you. I will die here," Chica said. Her voice was extremely glitchy and tired. This was the sign that she was indeed close to death.
"WHAT? That's ridiculous. Of course you can come, right?" Freddy demanded desperately.
"My power is almost out! There is no recharge station down here. I tried to get back on my own, but this is as far as I got. I will be dead weight for you two. Vanny will be down to finish us off soon..." Chica replied.
"What happened to you?" Gregory asked.
"Gregory... I died so you can live another day. Please, do not let me down. They found me in the Atrium and the Moon got me. He was going to drag me to Parts and Service, but he found that you had escaped. They took me here instead. I am so proud of you!" Chica glitched out.
"Well, if we ever get rid Vanny, could we ever come back for you?" Gregory questioned.
"You don't understand! Even if you kill Vanny, you will NEVER defeat the virus that infects us! The one that infected Monty and Roxy, and the one that once infected Freddy," Chica said frustratedly.
"Wait... so Freddy used to be like you?" Gregory said in confusion.
"Yes! But tonight, that mysteriously changed!" Chica confirmed. Then, she loomed directly into Freddy's eyes.
"What happened to you? You've changed ever since tonight. How have you been able to easily resist Vanny's control?" Chica asked.
Freddy nervously looked at Chica. He didn't want to give away his secret, but he wasn't going to lie to his oldest remaining friend.
"I... do not know. I was put on Safety Mode after my collapse. Something must have bugged out in my system onstage. My alert systems had gone haywire..." Freddy said unconfidently. He wasn't lying, but it wasn't the whole truth of him being Michael Afton.
"I see..." Chica trailed off. She looked into Freddy's eyes and both of the animatronics knew that Freddy knew a lot more than he let on.
"Well, what do we do now?" Gregory interrupted, breaking the tension between the animatronics.
"Freddy, Gregory, make me a promise..." Chica requested.
"You have but to ask!" Freddy said thoughtfully.
"Save Roxy. Save Monty. Kill Vanny, and cure the virus," Chica asked.
"Kill Vanny? I'm a CHILD!" Gregory exclaimed.
"I will do it," Freddy volunteered grimly.
"Thank you. Now, you must go! I am a waste of time and I'd get you killed," Chica urged.
"I'll come back for you. I promise!" Freddy exclaimed.
"Here... take my voice box," Chica urged.
"That is your special upgrade! I cannot take that from you!" Freddy refused.
"TAKE IT!" Chica shrieked. She was refusing to hear any opposing arguments. Then, she began to whir and make other electric sounds.
"Error... error! Electric systems shutting down. Battery at 0%. Entering rest mode..." the animatronic said monotonously. As soon as she said that, the light in her eyes faded and Chica's head slumped, as she became dead weight.
"She's dead..." Gregory said sadly.
"Go on, Gregory. Leave me behind, and if I'm here too long, just go back to the Green Room. I will catch up with you soon. I need a moment alone..." Freddy whimpered.
"Would you like me to take the voice box?" Gregory asked thoughtfully.
"Yes. Take it!" Freddy said, throwing Gregory the small metal square. Gregory ran down the path ahead, then through a red door to the left. When Freddy was sure that Gregory was gone, he broke down.
"NO! Why you, Chica? WHY!" Freddy demanded. Using his already-unstable left hand, he punched the wall out of anger. One of his fingers snapped, but he did not care.
Freddy was furious. Chica was yet another victim claimed by his evil father, William Afton. But Freddy swore to himself he would kill Vanny and Afton, with his bare hands...
Gregory ran through a blue-lit, dim parking garage, with multiple abandoned cars, maintenance carts, boxes, and tools lying around. This parking garage looked to be much older and abandoned. He was ready to leave the sewer, and he knew that with Chica dead, Freddy was not happy at ALL. Eventually, as Gregory was walking up a ramp to another section of the small parking garage, Freddy caught up to him. The bear animatronic was less than happy.
"You haven't gone far, I see..." Freddy said with a miserable tone.
"I was worried about you," Gregory replied. While he was walking through the lower parking garage, the sounds of the especially loud ventilation were masking much of his hearing, but he could tell Freddy was mentally breaking down, physically as well due to his newly-crippled left hand.
"You probably don't want to talk about it... I think we should just go," Gregory suggested.
"Yes, we should," Freddy sighed. Secretly, he was relieved that Gregory wasn't pressing into him with his interrogations.
The duo walked up the ramp and walked down a short parking garage, making their way to a locked gate that required a generator. Thankfully, the generator was right next to it, so the two escaped immediately.
Gregory and Freddy walked down a narrow, concrete hallway, then they turned right and walked up a green metal set of stairs. Then, they ended up in a sewer style tunnel like the one where Gregory walked through. Eventually, they made it to a warehouse.
"EW! This place is freaky," Gregory gasped.
"I agree!" Freddy replied.
The room in question was a small, rusted metal room. The floor was covered in bright-colored paper with various messaged scribbled all around it. STAFF Bot heads with black eyes and fangs drawn on were scattered. The heads looked like some kind of a demon. Candles were lighting up the room, rather than industrial lighting.
"I do not know if this is Vanny's hideout, but it is rather hideous," Freddy grimaced.
"Yeah! And... is that a message written in BLOOD?!" Gregory exclaimed, noting a vandalized back wall. The message read, 'This is MY home. Leave.'
"'This is MY home. Leave.' Gregory, we are heeding the advice!" Freddy declared.
There was a stairwell in the back of the room, which the two immediately walked up. The stairwell was very long, but at the top of the stairs, they were inside of a storage room with two exits. One of them led to some kind of eerie, gloomy locker room. The other one led to a laundromat that was equally dim.
"We're back! We made it out of the Sewer!" Gregory exclaimed happily.
"Yes, but we need to hurry. Chica was correct about Vanny wanting to return. I think we should get to the elevator down here as soon as possible," Freddy said nervously. He led Gregory through the locker room. They walked down a hallway with showers on either side of them. The showers and floor had marble tiles, the showers being beige and the floor being lime green. At the end of the shower hall was a bathroom, which led directly to the Loading Dock. This dock had a black concrete floor with two garage doors at the end. There was a table with a button and a pair of monitors with a mouse and keyboard each.
"This is the Loading Dock. We are not ready to leave yet, so let's continue," Freddy guided. They walked through the kitchen, then down the halls that led all the way to a green, metal elevator.
"So... that voice box, why did Chica give it to you?" Gregory asked.
"I do not know. Perhaps she wants us to use it?" Freddy suggested.
"The upgrades for that, plus the repairs, would take a long time! What time is it?" Gregory asked. He proceeded to check his FazWatch.
"It's four," Gregory said.
"Well, the lights should be on any second now! We will spend most of the hour in Parts and Service, most likely, but we could cut it down severely if we only work on necessary repairs, like my hands and the voicebox upgrade," Freddy suggested.
"Sure. That pass I got from the Fazer Blast office, you think I could use it to get into Bonnie Bowl? There are some areas we need to investigate," Gregory replied.
"Of course! The elevator is almost to the Atrium. After that, we will go to Parts and Service. Ready?" Freddy asked.
"Yeah. Let's get this night over and done with."
