Jisung woke up and didn't know where he was at first. It was certain that he wasn't lying alone in bed. He lay with his back pressed close to the chest of someone, while one arm of the other lay under his head, the other on his hip. And a large hand lay clearly under his T-shirt on his tummy.

For a moment he was frozen until he remembered where he was and with whom he was lying in a bed.

Which didn't explain why he lay in Chan's arm, with him under a blanket. But if he was completely honest with himself, then he felt incredibly secure in the arms of the older.

It was still dark outside, but the first pink streaks announced the sunrise.

Chan hadn't told him exactly when he had to be at the airport, so Jisung didn't knew when he had to get up.

He himself didn't have to be at work until late afternoon. Not surprising as a bartender.

He suppressed a sigh and simply decided to remain in Chan's arms until the older would wake up. Which was actually totally irrational, since they didn't even really know each other.

But the warmth and secureness he felt in Chan's arms, he wanted to feel at least a little longer. He hadn't felt that way for a long time, even if everything in him screamed that he was making it up and it made no sense at all.

After all, they were neither friends, nor did they really know each other.

Nevertheless, he closed his eyes again and cuddled up to the older.

Through his movements, Chan's hand slipped a little deeper and Jisung froze for a moment.

But as Chan continued to breathe deeply and calmly, he simply pulled his hand up a bit and closed his eyes again.

He never had thought he would ever feel so comfortable in someone else's arms. And then in the arms of a stranger.

~~~
Chan woke up cause Jisung was trembling and whimpering in his arms.
He needed a moment to understand what was going on. Another to realize that Jisung was in his arms and didn't really belong there, but decided that it wasn't important at the moment.
He hesitantly stroked Jisung's arm.
"It's all good...," he murmured softly.
Jisung abruptly scared out of his dreams and stared at Chan frightened.
It took him a moment to remember where he was, but then tears ran down his cheeks again and although he tried to suppress his sobs, it finally broke out of him.
Concerned, Chan looked at him, hesitated for a moment and then pulled the younger to himself.
Slowly Jisung calmed down again and moved a little away from Chan at some point.
"I... excuse me, I'm not used to sleeping in a bed with others. I'm sorry I cuddled up to you..." he murmured.
"I think I have to apologize. Cause I think I took you in my arms," Chan said, shrugging his shoulders with a smile.
"Hmm.. thank you for waking me up..." Jisung said quietly.
"Gladly."
For a moment, they both didn't know what to say. But they were both well aware that Jisung was still in Chan's arms.
"I... Uhm... You didn't say when you had to leave," Jisung said and straightened up.
Chan pulled his arms away, also sat up and leaned against the headboard of the bed.
"I have to be at the airport at 2 p.m. Enough time to have breakfast and take you to Changbin beforehand," Chan said with a smile.
"I don't know what to say... thank you!" Jisung murmured and looked at his hands.
"Gladly! Come on, let's get up and have breakfast."
Chan stood up and Jisung followed him hesitantly.
He felt terrible. Chan was incredibly nice to him and he couldn't even pay him for the food.
"I think I'll skip breakfast, I'm not hungry at all," he muttered.
Chan turned to him and, as if in protest, his stomach growled at that moment.
Chan looked at him with raised eyebrows. "Not hungry, huh? You are my guest, and no guest will leave hungry!"
Jisung lowered his head. "All right..."
~~~

After breakfast, Chan disappeared into the bathroom to take a shower, while Jisung remained a little undecided in the living room.

His cell phone battery was empty and he had forgotten to ask Chan if he had a suitable charging cable for him. And actually he would have liked to have taken a closer look at Chan's apartment, because it was so beautiful, but it seemed indiscreet to him.

So he just sat on the sofa and waited for Chan to come back.

At some point, Chan's phone started ringing and although Jisung didn't want to be curious, his eyes still fell on the glowing screen.

ꨄ Felix ꨄ

Jisung couldn't help but wonder if the ominous Felix was Chan's boyfriend.

On the other hand, Chan had let him sleep in his bed and held him in his arms while sleeping. While he was pondering whether Chan would have done the same if he had a boyfriend, he noticed that it was none of his business at all.

Sighing, he shook his head.

Just when Jisung wanted to get up from the sofa, Chan came into the living room with only a towel around his hip, grabbed his phone and answered the call.

Jisung was frozen in his movement and couldn't help but stare at Chan. He had already suspected that Chan was well trained, but the sight of the elder's muscular upper body almost magically attracted him and he couldn't look away.

When Chan noticed his look, he smiled, but Jisung wasn't entirely sure if the smile was for him or for this Felix whom Chan spoke to in fluent English.

He smiled back uncertainly and actually wanted to disappear into the ground.

Chan certainly noticed that Jisung felt uncomfortable. He turned off the microphone and turned to him.

"Your clothes are in the dryer in the bathroom," he said, smiling at Jisung and then listened to Felix's words again.

Jisung nodded, grateful to be able to escape the situation.

When his gaze fell into the mirror, Jisung noticed that he didn't look quite so tired anymore, but his hair stood wildly away and he somehow looked quite done.

Sighing, he ran his fingers through his hair and tried to arrange it at least a little.

He would have liked to have taken a shower again, but he didn't want to take up Chan's time even more than he had already done.

He had no choice but to put back on the clothes he wore for his mother's funeral.

Admittedly, he looked good in the black suit. But because Chan had put the clothes in the dryer, they were wrinkled and sat somehow strangely.

Sighing, Jisung plucked around the button up, but finally gave up. There was nothing left to save. And all his other clothes, all his belongings were still with his "best friend".

He expected that he would never see his things again and wasn't really bothered by that. But he actually wanted to have the memorabilia of his mother back.

Desperate, he clenched his teeth and tried to breathe as shallowly as possible to stop the tears that gathered in his eyes.

He didn't even hear Chan knocking on the door and entering the bathroom behind him.

When Chan noticed that Jisung was struggling with tears, he couldn't help it. He went over to the younger one and pulled him into his arms.

If Jisung was surprised by this, it was not noticeable. He leaned against Chan and although he made a great effort to suppress his sobs, it finally broke out of him.

Chan gently stroked his back. He wanted to help the younger so much. Be there for him and make him smile again.

At the same time, he had the feeling of having gone absolutely crazy. He didn't really know the young man in his arms. Not for even 24 hours and he was already incredibly attracted to him.

Maybe it was good that he had to fly to Australia right now. Who knows what else he might have offered him, just to put a smile on the younger's face.

He had called him an angel and Chan had become very warm around his heart. Similar to when Changbin flirted with him and yet somehow completely different.

He gently stroked through his hair and although Chan would have liked to keep the younger in his arm, he didn't really have time for it.

He carefully detached himself from Jisung and could just hold back to wipe away the tears of the younger.

"I... Uhm, I'm so sorry, but we have to go now..." said Chan and Jisung meant to hear something like regret in the voice of the older, but wasn't sure.

"Yeah... Sorry I kept you for so long.. I'm really sorry," Jisung said and twisted his face sullenly.

"That's totally fine. I just can't miss my flight," said Chan and smiled at the younger one.
