Mas nagulantang ako nang buhatin ako nito na tila ba wala akong kakayahang mag lakad
"Hoy i-baba mo ako!" Malakas na sigaw ko sa kaniya
"Ayoko" He replied in a playful tone, not showing any intention of letting me down at all as he continued to hold me tightly in his arms.
He then lifted me up, carrying me in his arms
he slowly made his way upstairs.
"Okay na, teka bakit sa kwarto mo? hoy ikaw! Hindi pa nga natin nahahanap ‘yung anak ko, kume-kerengkeng ka agad!"
"Ah, just relax, we can find our baby soon but right now you're tired, so I just want to make sure you get a good night's rest for now" He replied with a bright smile, his tone still soft and gentle as he carried me towards his bedroom.
"Huh? good night rest gaga ka, ang taas nang sikat nang araw oh" Tinignan ko ang bintana tingin ko ay hapon na.
"Just shut up and go to sleep" Mahinong saad nito, saba'y lapag sakin sa kama niya.
"And don't even think about moving" He added jokingly, his tone still gentle and caring as he pulled the blanket over me.
"Bawal rin ba huminga?" Natatawang tanong ko
"Shh, please just sleep, I've dealt with your sassiness earlier and I can't take anymore" He said playfully in a slightly annoyed tone.
Pinikit ko ang mga mata ko, pero talagang hindi ako makatulog kapag nasa gilid ko lamang siya, "Caleb..." Sambit ko habang naka pikit.
"Bakit?" Takang tanong nito
"Babae kaya o lalaki ‘yung anak natin? ano kaya ‘yung kasarian niya, nag a-aral kaya siya ngayon? okay lang kaya siya?"
He chuckled softly as he gently brushed my hair off my face. "I don't know, but who cares if it's a boy or a girl? As long as it's healthy and alive that's all that matters" He replied softly, his tone full of reason. He then leaned down to give me a soft kiss on the forehead.
"Natatakot ako, pakiramdam ko galit siya sakin, kasi hindi ko siya nagawang ma-protektahan, walang akong kwentang ina."
"I'm sure our baby understands that it was not your fault." He sighed, gently wiping away the tears from my eyes and my nose.
"Our son or daughter will never blame you for what happened, I'm sure our baby won't be angry at you, and I'm sorry hindi ko kayo na-protektahan" Saad nito nang mahinahon, habang ang kumot ko ay ini-angat pa niya nang kaunti.
He then turned off the light and climbed into bed with me, wrapping himself around my body and pulling me close. He held me tightly, his body warming me up completely as I began to slowly fall asleep in his arms.

The morning sunlight was slowly filling up the bedroom, I woke up feeling more well-rested and rejuvenated than I ever have yesterday. I slowly sat up in bed and looked around the room, my eyes landing on Caleb who was still sleeping soundly beside me.
"Pst, hoy gising na" Ina-alog ko ang katawan nito, kinurot ko pa ang pisngi niya para magising
"Mm...five more minutes" His voice still sleepy and groggy as he pulled me closer to him.
"Aba, daig pa bata!"
Ngumisi ito at mahigpit na yumakap sa akin. Nararamdaman ko ang init ng kaniyang katawan na umaabot sa akin, nararamdaman ko ang kaniyang mainit na hininga sa aking leeg habang nagsasalita siya nang may antok na tono.
"I..Lov--"
"Ano? hindi ko marinig?"
"I love you" He muttered softly, his voice still sleepy and quiet as he continued to pull me closer to him.
"Weh? gaano mo ako ka-mahal?" Ngising tanong ko
He chuckled softly but his eyes still looked a little bit sleepy, he turned himself onto his side so we were now facing each other. He looked deep into my eyes, his look full of affection and adoration. "Let's see... I would say, about.." He paused for a moment, his eyes shining with glee and amusement as he said, "...as much as I love sleeping."
Nakakasakit pala sa utak kapag matatalino ‘yung tinanong, ang sakit sa ulo. "So mas mahal mo matulog kaysa sakin?"
"Hmm... well... how about... this much" He placed his hand right on top of my heart, his face filled with joy. "I love you as much as my heart beats, and as long as you're by my side, it will continue doing just that." He said softly.
"Lànturan!" Bulong ko, pero pakiramdam ko namumula na ang pisngi ko
Tumawa siya nang mahinahon, ang kaniyang mga mata ay kumikislap sa kasiyahan habang yumuko siya at marahan na hinalikan ang mga pisngi ko.
"But in all seriousness, I don't know how to explain it," He said in a soft and gentle tone.
"I can't describe this feeling but I just want you to know that I do love you with everything that I have" He finally finished softly. He looked deep into my eyes with a sincere and sincere look, his voice sounding full of love and affection.
"Kaya kong i-bigay ang lahat, kahit na mas mayaman ka kaysa sakin" Bulong niya
"Even if you're much more successful than me, handa akong i-bigay ang lahat" He continued to say, his tone full of earnestness and sincerity.
"Ano ba ang lahat?" Tanong ko
Tumingin ito sakin habang ngumingisi "Oh you know... everything, like my soul, my heart, my life, and even my credit card." He added with playful teasing.
"Huh? Hindi ka ba takot na baka nakawan ko ang credit card mo, malay mo mag shopping ako, tapos bumili ako nang mga--" Naputol ako sa sasabihin ko nang tumawa siya
"Shh.. shhh.. You see, even if you did rob my credit card and went shopping, I would still let it slide."
"Siyempre joke lang, may pera naman ako no"
"Oh really? Then let me see your wallet" He challenged me, his tone sounding playful and teasing as he smirked at me.
Napalunok ka agad ako nang ma-alala na bente pesos lang pala dala ko at laging laman ng wallet ko, hindi naman kasi ako mahilig mag dala nang cash! "Kasi ano eh..Teka nga! Privacy nang wallet ko ‘yon!"
"Hmm... so you're saying you have secrets inside your wallet?" Natatawang sambit niya
"Fine! Bente lang laman nang wallet ko!" Ipinakita ko ang wallet ko na may lamang lumang bente pesos
Ngumisi ito nang nakakainis, he then took the wallet from my hands and opened it, he then checked the contents inside.
"Bakit mababawasan na ba 'yung pag mamahal mo?"

"Did you sleep well?" Malumanay na tanong nito.
"Siyempre, ikaw kumot ko eh" Naramdaman ko bigla ang pahiwatig na kumukulo na ang tiyan ko.
"Nagugutom na ako!"
"Talaga? then maybe I should go make you breakfast then?"
"Sus, marunong kaba?" Parang dati ayaw niya na sumasabay ako na kumain sa kaniya, tapos ngayon pag lulutuan na ako!
"Well, since may rason na ako para i-pag luto ka. I'm going to make the most delicious breakfast ever!" He replied cheerfully, his tone sounding confident and determined.
"Just wait and see."
"Tutulungan kita, ano lu-lutuin mo?"
"Umupo ka nalang, let me do the cooking, you just sit pretty and relax." He gestured for me to sit down.
"Sus ano 'to, princess treatment" Nangangamatis na tuloy 'yung pisngi ko!
"Yes." Tipid na sambit nito bago mag salita muli
"Well, you are like royalty to me, so I guess that means that you deserve to be treated like one,"
"But you know what, mahal na prinsesa would like to sit on my lap so I can serve you with the proper respect you deserve?" Ngumingising sambit nito.
"H-Huh? hindi ba't mag lu-luto ka?"
"Hmm, ‘wag ka mag alala, I can cook and have you seated at the same time, I'm multitalented" He smirked
"Paano ‘yon? Oa ah, tsaka ‘wag na mabigat ako!"
"I can handle it" Saad nito sabay mahinhin niya akong hinatak palapit sa kaniya.
"Hmm... well, then I suggest that you just stay right here on my lap, I'm going to treat you like the princess that you are" He added playfully as he gently stroked my hair.
