Shall I compare us to the sun's warm rays?
The warmth, the glee, the meadows we would grace,
I wish it could endure more than mere days,
Imagine the benefits we might embrace.
Joyous glee will be forever lasting,
There will never be a reason to hide,
In the night, flowers will not be wilting,
Why would we, with the sun in the darkness, abide?
But if I keep chasing your warmth westward,
Will I never witness the Setting Sun?
Because I know the joy dissolves eastward,
The shining stars make me feel tired, done.
Until you change your mind, I'll sit alone,
facing eastwards, longing for the sun that once shone.
