Singhania mansion:

Next morning:

In the bathroom, Shashvat stands before the sink, his shaving kit laid out on its slab. He's preparing to trim his beard, holding the trimmer in his hand, ready to start when suddenly, the voice of his wife interrupts him.

"no!" yelled Dhriti, halting Shashvat's actions as he looked at the mirror to see his wife coming towards him. Dhriti took steps towards him and stood beside him, making Shashvat shift his attention towards her.

"Please don't trim your beard," Dhriti pleaded, showing her puppy eyes. Shashvat was amused by her request. He kept the trimmer down and looked at his wife, leaning against the slab with his arms folded near his chest.

Making, Dhriti's eyes wandered towards his bare chest. She  tried to control her gaze, which was desperate to look at his lower body. Unable to resist her inner self, her eyes moved towards his lower body part, and a shriek of shock escaped her mouth. She turned away, hiding her eyes with her right palm.

Shashvat raised his eyebrow at her sudden move, then looked at himself to understand the reason for her reaction. Seeing himself wrapped in just a white towel, he chuckled.

Shashvat stood straight and walked behind her, bending a little towards her right ear, his warm breath falling on her neck, sending shivers down Dhriti's spine.

"What happened?" he asked in his husky voice, causing Dhriti to tremble. She couldn't understand why her body reacted so strongly to his mere touch.

"Don't trim your beard," Dhriti repeated, her voice almost pleading.

"Why?" Shashvat asked curiously, still close to her ear.

"You look good in a beard, clean-shaven doesn't suit you much," Dhriti said, surprising Shashvat. She noticed him that much.

"Acha," Shashvat responded, a hint of happiness in his tone.
"So you don't like me clean-shaven?" he asked, turning her towards him.

"Dhriti," Shashvat called out, seeing her palm covering her eyes. He gently grabbed her wrist and removed her hand, but she still didn't open her eyes.

"Dhriti, open your eyes," Shashvat said near her lips, his voice soft yet commanding, coaxing Dhriti to slowly open her eyes.

"You don't want me to trim my beard?" Shashvat asked, to which Dhriti nod her head.

"Okay, then," Shashvat said, giving up on his wife's request, eliciting the fullest smile from Dhriti. Shashvat thrown the trimmer at another side and passed her scissor.

"Take it, trim whoever you want," Shashvat said, but Dhriti tried to object. How could she?

"Do you want to see your husband clean-shaven?" Shashvat said, making Dhriti sigh. A  Secret Dhriti Singhania loved Shashvat Singhania's beard, which made him look more attractive yet intimidating at the same time.

"Then do it," Shashvat said, turning towards the mirror.

Dhriti  looked around the bathroom, searching for a stool that could help her trim Shashvat's beard. Shashvat noticed her actions, initially not understanding, but then he realized. How could he forget the significant height difference between them? With  6 feet , he towered over her petite 5'4" frame.

Shashvat turned Dhriti towards himself, causing her to raise her eyes from the ground and look at him. Before she could understand anything, Shashvat picked her up like a baby and gently placed her on the slab. Dhriti's ears turned red in embarrassment. How could he pick her up like this? She's not a baby.

"You are a baby" Shashvat said in an affectionate voice, causing Dhriti's eyes to widen. How could he hear her inner thoughts?

Dhriti shook her head, trying to remove the unwanted thoughts from her mind.

Dhriti gulped nervously, feeling the weight of the moment as she tightened her hold on the scissors. Shashvat approached her, positioning himself near her to make it easier for her to reach his beard. With a deep breath, Dhriti brought the scissors near his beard, her focus unwavering as she began to meticulously trim his large beard into smaller sections.

As she worked, Shashvat couldn't help but admire her features. He noticed the furrow of her brow, the intense concentration in her eyes, and how her determined gaze never wavered. Lost in admiration, he observed every subtle movement she made, mesmerized by her dedication and skill.

Suddenly, Dhriti's pallu, which she had gathered on her shoulder, fell, disrupting her concentration.

Before Dhriti could react, Shashvat, his eyes fixed on her, swiftly took the fallen pallu and circled it around her before tucking it into her waist. His cold fingers brushed against her skin, causing Dhriti to gasp at his sudden touch, which only elicited a smirk from him. He enjoyed the way she responded to his simple touch.

Once he had adjusted her attire, he signaled for her to continue her work. Dhriti took a deep breath, trying to steady herself as she resumed trimming his beard. However, she couldn't help but shudder when she felt his hands on both sides of her waist, caressing the bare skin of her waist . his touch sending electric currents through her skin.

Looking up at him, she saw him watching her as if he wasn't doing anything out of the ordinary, as if he wasn't the reason for her current state . Despite the shuddering and nervousness, Dhriti resolved to continue her task. After all, it was her decision to do this, and she needed to bear it.

"Done," Dhriti said, relieved as her work was completed. She put the scissors down and looked at Shashvat, only to find him leaning towards her. Shashvat moved closer to her right ear making his lips brushing against it. Dhriti's grip tightened on her saree as she felt his hot breath on her ear, sending a shiver down her spine. She tried to keep her legs together, feeling a different sensation she had never experienced before, though she knew exactly what it is.

"The mole near your right waist is damn exciting, and I would love to taste it one day," Shashvat whispered seductively, sending a surge of anticipation coursing through Dhriti's veins.

He gently pecked her ear before straightening up and walking away, leaving Dhriti tingling with anticipation and longing, her mind still reeling from his whispered words.

Dhriti kept her hand on her heart, feeling it beat faster than usual with Shashvat's close proximity and his words echoing in her mind.

"What was that?" she questioned aloud, her voice laced with confusion as she tried to make sense of her intense reaction to his gentle touch.

Vivaan was passing by Miksha's room when he noticed her sitting on the floor, diligently coloring something, with her concentration so intense that she seemed almost oblivious to the world around her. Intrigued by her focus, he decided to step into the room to take a closer look. As he approached, his eyes fell upon the canvas she was painting. Suddenly, a flicker of recognition crossed his face, and his eyebrows furrowed as he struggled to recall where he had seen the canvas before. After pondering for a few moments, the memory resurfaced: it was the same canvas he had purchased at Navya's insistence, a piece valued at a staggering 8 million. The realization left him stunned.

"Hey buddy, who gave you this?" Vivaan inquired, gesturing towards Miksha's painting canvas.

"Navya chachi," Miksha replied, pointing towards Navya, who was approaching them.

Vivaan swiftly grabbed Navya's elbow and pulled her out of the room.

"What the hell, Navya!" he exclaimed, his frustration evident. Navya braced herself for an argument, but her expression softened upon seeing Meera Singhania approaching them.

"Why are you yelling at me?" Navya asked, adopting a scared expression, which only further irritated Vivaan. Was she really intimidated by him?

"Vivaan!" Meera's voice cut through the tension, as she arrived, her demeanor stern.

"Mom, where did you come from all of a sudden?" Vivaan questioned, surprised by his mother's sudden appearance.

"Forget that. Is this way to speak to your wife?" Meera scolded, placing her hands on her hips.

"Mom, you don't understand. She wasted my money by purchasing an unworthy 8 million painting and then gave it to Miksha who is using for painting. If she didn't like it, she could have just not bought it," Vivaan complained, hoping his mother would support him this time.

"And what's the big deal?" Meera asked, failing to grasp the severity of the situation.

"Mom, she wasted my money," Vivaan reiterated, growing increasingly irritated.

"Oh, really?" Meera glanced at her daughter-in-law, who wore a dejected expression.

"She didn't cause a significant loss, Vivaan, so stop making a fuss. Besides, it's not even 0.01% of your net worth. So, just drop it," Meera defended her daughter-in-law, leaving Vivaan dumbfounded.

"Mom?" Vivaan was shocked by his mother's response.

"Don't you dare speak to me like that, and never raise your voice at my bahu again. Otherwise, I'll throw you out of this house," Meera warned sternly, causing Vivaan to gulp nervously.

Dinning area:

As the butlers helped Singhania's daughter-in-law to  set the breakfast table, the other family members except shlok, ashok and priyanka, took their seats, ready to start their morning meal. Vivaan, casually scrolling through his phone, suddenly noticed the spread on the table. His eyes widened in surprise and happiness, and a delighted expression spread across his face. Today's breakfast included most of his favorites, making the start of his day even more enjoyable.

"It's my favorite breakfast!" Vivaan exclaimed, grabbing everyone's attention as he looked up from the food, his eyes scanning the Singhania daughter-in-laws. First, he glanced at his wife, who was already giving him an annoyed look, then at his sister-in-laws. Upon seeing their expressions, he immediately understood that his favorite bhabhi had made it for him.

Quickly rising from his seat, Vivaan rushed over to Ayushree and embraced her tightly, showing his gratitude.

"Thank you so much, bhabhi" he said, swaying her a little in the hug, his happiness evident to everyone. The room filled with chuckles at his enthusiastic display, except for one.

"So, am I forgiven?" Ayushree asked as Vivaan released his grip. Her words caught Vivaan by surprise.

"You did all this to get my forgiveness?" he asked, sounding astonished. It was shocking because everyone, including Ayushree, knew he was just pretending to be upset, yet she went to such lengths.

"Of course, you're not only my devar but also my first friend in this house," Ayushree said with a smile. It was true; Vivaan had made her feel comfortable when she was newly married into the Singhania family.

"Aww, if you say that, then I have to forgive you," Vivaan said, his expression turning cute.

"Okay, forgiven" he added, making everyone smile at their heartwarming bond.

"Thank you," Ayushree replied.

Vivaan's eyes fell on his elder brother, who was staring at  them  with a clenched jaw. Sensing the tension, Vivaan quickly walked towards the dishes and took a whiff.

"Wow, bhabhi, I'm so happy. You did all this for me," Vivaan exclaimed, his gratitude evident in his voice as Ayushree nodded in agreement beside him.

"Only for me," Vivaan added, deliberately looking at his brother. Before Abhyant could react, Shlok, Ashok, and Priyanka joined the breakfast table, breaking the tension with their presence. The Singhania daughter-in-laws took their respective seats, ready to enjoy breakfast, while Miksha sat on her mother's lap, being fed by her father.

"Mummy ji, there's good news," Karishma's words broke the silence, instantly grabbing everyone's attention.

"What is it?" Uma Dadi asked eagerly, her curiosity piqued.

"Bhumi is pregnant," Karishma announced, a smile spreading across her face as she shared the joyful news. The entire family erupted into smiles and murmurs of congratulations.

"That's really wonderful news!" Meera exclaimed, her eyes shining with happiness.

"Finally, God has blessed Bhumi bhabhi," Ayushree murmured, her heart filled with happiness as she remembered the pain Bhumi had endured.

"Dhriti, now it's your turn," Uma Dadi said, her words catching Dhriti off guard, causing her to frown in confusion. Dhriti glanced at her husband for an explanation before returning her attention to Uma Dadi.

"Matlab?" Dhriti asked, her confusion evident.

"Matlab ki, we already have Laxmi in the form of Miksha," Uma Dadi explained, gesturing towards the miksha who was happily munching on her food, oblivious to the conversation around her.

"And now we are waiting for our little Narayan," she added, her eyes twinkling with happiness.

Dhriti's eyes widened in  suprised, her ears turning red as she realized the implication of Uma Dadi's words. From the corner of her eye, she caught her husband's gaze, his smile confirming her suspicions.

Vivaan wiped his hands with a handkerchief before standing up from his seat, causing everyone to look at him with confusion, wondering about his sudden action.

Vivaan walked purposefully towards Shashvat's chair and grabbed his arm.

"Chalo," he said, simultaneously taking Dhriti's hand in his other hand, leaving everyone confused.

"Don't give me those looks. Didn't you hear what Dadi said?" Vivaan questioned, looking at the perplexed faces of Shashvat and Dhriti.

"Vivaan?" Even Uma Dadi seemed puzzled by his actions.

"Dadi, you want a grandson, right? For that, some effort will have to be put in," Vivaan explained, causing everyone to facepalm themselves in embarrassment, while Navya simply rolled her eyes at her shameless husband's behavior. He had absolutely no control over his tongue.

"Vivaan," Dhriti intervened, giving him a warning look, urging him to stop.

"What? don't tell me bhabhi you also believe that , an angel will come and gave the baby?" Vivaan retorted sarcastically.

"Ayushree bhabhi?" Ayushree suddenly became conscious at being called out.

"Tell them there's no such angel coming. It's our own  hard work which will give result" Vivaan continued, while Ayushree wished she could just disappear from the embarrassment of the situation.

"Vivaan, stop it!" Karishma intervened, her tone firm , causing Vivaan to sigh in frustration at his seemingly boring family  before taking his seat to resume his breakfast.

"Is everything prepared for today's rally, Shashvat?" Shlok Singhania inquired in his gruff voice.

"Yes, Dad," Shashvat replied in his deep voice, confirming the readiness for the event.

"Is Shashvat going to lead the rally today?" Karishma asked with a mixture of curiosity and concern. Shashvat nodded in affirmation, acknowledging his mother's query.

"Shlok, it's not safe for him. You know enemies are looking for an opportunity to harm him, and yet you want him to lead the rally today," Karishma expressed her worry, recalling the last rally where her husband had led and was shot in the right shoulder. She couldn't bear the thought of the same happening to her son. The ruthless nature of politics left her feeling helpless, unable to do anything but pray for her son's safety.

Dhriti observed her mother-in-law and then glanced at her husband with concern.

"He's not a kid, Karishma, and as for the dangers, he's well aware of what he's stepping into," Shlok's rough voice countered, indicating that it was ultimately Shashvat's decision to assume the role of CM.

"Bhaisahab, should I also accompany Shashvat? It might be helpful for him," Ashok interjected, attempting to seize the opportunity for his own gain. Shlok smirked, amused by his brother's desperation.

"No need. He will manage himself, and besides," Shlok dismissed his offer, causing Ashok to clench his fists angrily.

"You seem to do well staying at home," Ashok retorted, attempting to swallow the insult directed at him by his brother. Shlok smirked, enjoying Ashok's reaction before turning his gaze towards the Singhania daughters-in-law, who squirmed uncomfortably in their seats under the sudden attention.

"If anyone, anyone, is found stepping out of the house without security, then the person is going to be placed under house arrest for 3 months," Shlok commanded, his gaze sweeping over each daughter-in-law, all of whom nodded in agreement.

With the elections approaching, Shlok's enemies were actively seeking an opportunity to undermine him and thwart his efforts. Under no circumstances could he allow his plans to fail due to someone's incompetence or negligence.

Navya clenched her fists at his authoritative nature.

"I want everyone in their best behaviour and refrain from doing anything foolish that might attract media attention," Shlok said, his gaze scanning each and every Singhania family member, though Abhyant and Navya couldn't help but roll their eyes in response.

"Dadu, do I also need to be on my best behavior?" Miksha's small voice suddenly interrupted the conversation, capturing everyone's attention. Shlok's expression softened immediately upon hearing his granddaughter's voice.

He looked at her and raised his arms, inviting her over. Miksha eagerly jumped from her mother's lap and settled onto Shlok's lap.

"My Bunny is always in her best behavior," Shlok replied in a gentle tone, causing Navya to widen her eyes in surprise. Could this man, often seen as ruthless and driven by profit, actually be soft?

Miksha smiled up at her grandfather, and Shlok's lips curved into a slight smile in return. Meanwhile, Navya couldn't help but place her hand over her heart, stunned by the realization that Shlok was capable of such warmth and tenderness.

Soon, the Singhania ladies went off to attend to their respective tasks, while ayushree went to drop her daughter to school . Now, only the Singhania men remained in the dining room.

Shlok signaled for the butlers to leave, and they promptly complied. Shlok rose from his seat, prompting everyone else to do the same. He strode purposefully towards Vivaan, his steps exuding intimidation. As he reached Vivaan, before Vivaan could react, a tight slap landed on his right cheek, shocking Abhyant and Shashvat. They moved to approach Vivaan, but he held up his palm, signaling them to stop. Meanwhile, Ashok smirked at the sight of his son's red cheek.

"What was that, Vivaan? Is this how a responsible doctor behaves? And why the hell did you run away?" Shlok's voice thundered through the room, causing Vivaan to clench his fists tightly. He knew he deserved this.

"I was lost in emotion," Vivaan mumbled .

"Then keep your emotions to yourself! Do you realize what would have happened if Navya hadn't caught the girl in time? Your license would have been suspended!" Shlok yelled, shoving Vivaan back, causing him to stumble. Shashvat rushed to his brother's side, steadying him.

"Dad, it wasn't his fault. It was a trap for Vivaan!" Shashvat interjected, not appreciating his father's aggressive behavior.

"Don't, Shashvat! Don't make excuses for your brother's incompetence!" Shlok pointed a finger at Shashvat, silencing him.

"If Vivaan wasn't well enough to perform the surgery, he could have refused it. Instead, he performed it absentmindedly and then ran away like a coward!" Shlok continued, his words cutting through the tense air. Vivaan kept his head down, silently accepting his mistake. Shlok's assessment was painfully accurate.

"I am not a coward!" Vivaan suddenly shouted, his eyes flashing as he challenged Shlok to call him one again, daring him to face the consequences.

"Really?" Shlok tilted his head slightly, a mocking smile playing on his lips as he stared back at Vivaan.

"Mr. Singhania, enough!" Abhyant intervened, his frustration evident.

"It was just a minor mistake! And why are you so concerned? About the innocent life that was lost?" Abhyant yelled.

"No! I don't care who lives or dies, but I damn well care about my reputation and my power!" Shlok retorted sharply, his tone unyielding.

"I'm warning all three of you! Behave yourselves! I don't want any trouble during these elections! Keep your actions in check and behave like men!" Shlok barked, pointing his finger at each of the Singhania brothers in turn.

"And you," he said, turning his gaze to Vivaan.

"find the person behind this and deal with them swiftly." Vivaan nodded in response, a steely determination in his eyes. He would surely kill that person very brutally.

Oberoi industries:

In the bustling cafeteria of Oberoi Industries during lunchtime, the air is filled with the aroma of freshly cooked meals. Employees line up eagerly, chatting animatedly as they await their turn. The cafeteria staff, clad in aprons, skillfully dish out a variety of delicious dishes onto trays. The sound of clinking cutlery and laughter fills the space as colleagues gather around tables, enjoying their meals and exchanging stories from the morning's work. Some engage in lively discussions while others relax with their favorite book or scroll through their smartphones.

Navya was passing by the cafeteria when she overheard a conversation between two employees of her office.

"Did you hear the news from yesterday?" a male employee asked, munching on his burger.

"Yeah, I heard," the other employee replied.

"So, do you think Vivaan Singhania could do this?" the first employee inquired.

"Well, I'm pretty sure he was behind the loss of the innocent patient's life. But since the Singhania family is so powerful, they blamed an innocent doctor and drove her to suicide," the other employee responded, his disgust evident towards the Singhania family, especially Vivaan Singhania.

"Vivaan Singhania is a ba-" Before the first employee could finish his sentence, Navya's voice boomed in the cafeteria.

"Excuse me!" Navya took intimidating strides towards them, causing everyone in the cafeteria to stand up from their seats, and the two employees to gulp in fear. The cafeteria fell into pure silence as all eyes turned towards Navya.

"Who the hell are you to judge someone so easily? And by the way, it was proven that Vivaan Singhania is innocent with evidence," Navya yelled at them.

"I'm sorry, ma'am, it's just that we..." one of the employees tried to defend themselves.

"You are talking about my husband, so speak with respect. Otherwise, it won't take me a second to throw you out!" Navya's voice dripped with authority as she emphasized "my husband," making it clear that they were speaking about their boss's husband, which could cost them dearly.

"We are sorry, ma'am," the two employees apologized, bowing their heads.

"Get out!" Navya commanded, pointing towards the exit. The employees promptly left, cursing themselves for their thoughtless remarks.

Navya gritted her teeth as she walked away, leaving the others in the cafeteria to continue their work, feeling the weight of her authority.

Yuvraaj, who had witnessed the entire scene, was surprised. He had heard everything, including how Navya had referred to Vivaan as her husband. He couldn't understand what was going through her mind. On one hand, she seemed to want revenge against the Singhania family, yet here she was, fiercely defending Vivaan, who was a member of that very family. What was she feeling? What was running in her mind? Had she developed feelings for Vivaan?
