*George's POV*

"Strings! Just think, walking and—"

"Music is already taken care of."

"Then...what're we going to do for vows?"

"We can write our own, that's what I wanted to do."

Freya nodded, pointing her wand at a new shipment of albums that sorted itself out and walking towards the back of the shop, I leaned against the counter of her shop and smiled. Twenty days...just twenty days until Freya and I were married, twenty days and I will be married to such a talented, smart, and gorgeous girl.

I felt so lucky.

"Stop drooling on the counter, Weasley." I rolled my eyes slightly.

"Malfoy, what do you want?" I said coldly.

He placed a small box on the counter, that stupid smirk from school plastered on his face as he watched me expectantly. "For Freya, and this...is for you."

I raised an eyebrow as he offered me one of the boxes, inside sat a glass figure of a rabbit sitting in a magician's hat. "What is this?" I asked skeptically.

"Wedding gifts," Draco shrugged. "A rabbit in a hat to represent the joke shop and a violin to represent Freya's shop."

"What're you playing at, Malfoy?" I put the package down and glared at him.

Draco snorted, "just accept the gifts, there isn't a hidden message."

I frowned before nodding, "why're you here then? Thought we had an agreement."

The boy scowled slightly, "I let you rent this shop for that girl over there you've clearly kidnapped from the states. Then she's got it in her head that there's 'more that meets the eye' about me and was trying to find a deeper meaning behind everything. And you always leave her alone here, do you not realize how easily she could be kidnapped? Dark wizards still exist mate. And now you're standing here scowling at me when all I've done is offer a small wedding gift for a obviously rushed spectacle."

"You can leave, and I didn't kidnap Freya, thanks," I said darkly.

Draco scoffed, "of course not. Whatever helps you sleep at night. There's no way you got a girl like her without doing something."

"Hey! I'm right over here, I can hear everything!" Freya shouted somewhere behind Draco's back. "Rude to think George couldn't get any girl he dreamed of. He's perfectly good looking!" Freya huffed more to herself, I grinned at this, which caused Draco to groan out loud.

"We gave you the rent, you can leave now, you know?"

Draco rolled his eyes and stalked out of the shop, Freya giving a small wave as he passed.

"That was sweet of him," Freya commented as she revealed the small violin, she gave me a smug look before trying to place it on the top of the glass case besides the counter. I couldn't help smirk as she struggled to reach the top, her sweater riding up as she strained the reach. "Enjoying the show over there?"

"W-what?" I stammered.

Freya came to stand in front of me, she smirked slightly, "don't play innocent, George Weasley."

I kissed her cheek, "stop being so gorgeous then."

Freya laughed before jumping on the counter and positioning herself so she was facing me as she sat. "hmm...I don't think I can do that," Freya wrinkled her nose slightly.

I chuckled, putting my hands on her knees, "forgive me then?"

"You owe me a kiss," she leaned forward so our foreheads were touching. I kissed her lightly and smiled, "I think I can live with that," Freya winked.

"Have you talked to your friend Tyler recently?" I mused.

Freya leaned back on her hands, her smile gone, her lighthearted air gone in seconds. "haven't spoken to him for almost five months now. Why?"

"That's surprising, did you invite him to our wedding?" I spoke as innocently as possible.

Her eyes narrowing as she looked at me, "what's going on, George?"

"What? He's your best friend, I just want to know if he's going to be there so I know if I should carry my wand on me or not," I stated innocently.

"don't worry about him. He's not coming."

"Why is that?" I asked confused.

Freya shrugged before two girls walked through the door, she smiled at me before jumping down and beginning to organize the shop. I couldn't help but notice that one of the girls kept glancing up at me before giggling and whispering something to her friend, I glanced over at Freya who wasn't paying attention—but she was scowling over the instruments as she polished them.

I smiled to myself while the girls came to purchase a few albums.

"Hello," one of the girls said, batting heavily thick mascara covered eyelashes.

"Hello, will that be all?" I smiled.

"Actually we were wondering when you get off..." the one that had been laughing earlier said.

I smiled, "whenever I want to actually," I gave a wink and handed them their change, Freya coming up to the counter and passing me a record-her ring dazzling in the light as she made sure it was noticed. "Have a nice day."

The girls exchanged a look before deflating slightly and walking off, I snorted as Freya innocently grinned up at me. I kissed the top of her head, "you're the only girl I see."

"Do you think I'm jealous of those...girls?" She looked slightly shocked.

I chuckled slightly and kissed her, "of course not, love."

***

"The wedding is in two weeks."

"Mmmhmm."

"George, listen to me!"

"The wedding is in two weeks, yes I know!"

Freya huffed, tossing her hands in the air as she shook her head. "You need to go get your robes situated with Fred!"

"I did that yesterday," I opened the freezer and pulled out the pint of ice cream. "Want some?" I offered the pint to her.

"Didn't you hear me? Our wedding is in two weeks!" Freya looked taken back.

"Your dress will fit even after one bowl of ice cream," I chuckled while digging for a spoon.

Freya shook her head, "so you already got your robes?"

"Yes, black with a deep red vest just like you instructed," I nodded.

"And the flowers..." Freya jumped onto the counter, swinging her legs slightly.

"Are not what you requested, but just as good."

"What?!" Freya coughed.

"Fey, calm down, I swear everything is perfectly fine!" I laughed, I moved so that I was standing before her.

Freya frowned, "I'm calm..."

I smirked as I stroked her cheek, "it's everything you could wish for, I'm sure of it."

"I'm marrying you, of course—"

Freya stopped when a knock on the door interrupted her, "are you expecting anyone?" Freya muttered.

"No....are you?" I questioned, putting the ice cream down beside her.

"Who would be here for me?" Freya scoffed as she jumped off the counter.

I kissed her cheek and walked to the door, when I opened it there stood an unwelcoming sight.

"Tyler," I glared at the snobby boy as he regarded me with a frown.

"Weasley," he gave a curt nod.

"What're you doing here?" I lifted my chin as I leaned against the door.

"The wedding..." Tyler shrugged.

"It isn't for two more weeks."

"Who is it?" Freya asked over my shoulder, she pushed under my arm and appeared beside me. "Oh, hey...."

I looked between the two, the first time I met them, I knew instantly that they were close friends but now they stood regarding each other like bitter enemies.

"Tyler, why're you here?" I asked again.

"I'm here for the wedding...although I'm early apparently."

"I don't want you there," Freya shook her head.

"That's funny, George here told me that you did, in fact, I'm your entertainment for the evening," he looked at me with a smug look.

Freya glanced at me, she raised an eyebrow but said nothing, pushing Tyler onto the landing outside the door, she shut it roughly behind her. I pressed my ear onto the wood, hoping to hear the confrontation that was about ensue.

"What do you mean he told you that?" Freya asked, "last time we talked. You weren't too happy to hear about what's been going on and then you stopped answering my letters."

"I was travelling, and didn't George mention that he came to see me a few days before Christmas?"

"No, he told me he was going on a business trip." I was as good as dead now.

Tyler was laughing, "listen, I can leave if you don't want me around or we can just forgive each other."

"Not after what you called George and Fred! Not after all the harsh things you said to me!"

"Well it was all true."

"How dare you!"

"Did you honestly expect anything else when you contacted me a few months ago? You ran off with two complete strangers and got yourself basically killed because of them. The first time you came back I was more shocked than anything to see you alive! But I meant what I said, they're lazy, arrogant, immature and they've taken you down with them. Now you're marrying one of them, and all I can say is that you wasted your life away and for what? A Brit-"

There was a resounding slap, I smirked, Freya had a good hand on her.

"They're better men than you'll ever be, Tyler. They may be immature at times, but they run a successful business. They're doing what they love each and every day. They've achieved their dream-"

"What about you? You're the one who left everything behind. Didn't finish school, didn't achieve her dream of being a famous violinist for the symphony. Thought to once be dead. What have you been doing while over here?"

I wanted nothing more than to open the door wide and hex Tyler where he stood, but before I could, Freya's voice was tight and quiet as she spoke.

"What're you doing here? Honestly. You couldn't give two shits about my life anymore."

Tyler sighed, "didn't he tell you that he wanted me to be your music for the wedding?"

I'm dead.

There was a very long pause, "of course he would. He would do that....and do you know why?" The anger in her voice was rising with every second, "because George Weasley is a good man, who obviously won't stop at anything to make what's meant to be a fantastic day between him and me beyond perfect."

Tyler let out a low breath, "look. I'll leave, you'll have to suffer with no music. The money doesn't matter anymore. Part of me wanted us to start fresh, but I'm over it now."

There was a pause, "you have to apologize to the twins before anything else."

"Can you kill me first? that'll be easier."

"I'll let them kill you actually, too much blood gets my hands messy you know?"

The door knob turned against my stomach before I jumped back from the door, Freya reappeared with Tyler behind her. Freya squeezed my hand, smiling before walking to the kitchen.

Tyler stood glaring at me, I cocked my fist before punching his stomach. He doubled over, holding his chest as he leaned against the door.

"That's for the eye from last time," I hissed in his ear.

"Noted," Tyler huffed.

I cocked my hand and punched his jaw, "for what you said about my brother and me."

Tyler nodded as he coughed, Freya appeared with a mug of hot chocolate. "Like a sip?" Freya offered me the cup, I smiled as I took it.

"Now Tyler, don't you want to say something to George?" Freya prompted.

I could tell Tyler wanted nothing more than to roll his eyes but he nodded, Freya motioned to the dining table and took a seat.

"George, I'd like to apologize for everything I've ever said or done to you or your brother," Tyler said tightly.

I looked at my hands, trying not to laugh as Freya kicked my shin, "I...I can't forgive you." I didn't want to actually.

"Well, I tried, see?" Tyler went to stand but Freya's look stopped him.

"Come on, George," Freya begged.

She looked at me pleadingly, her eyes growing big and watery as she looked at me across the table. She was so beautiful...I wished I were immune to that pleading look of hers but I wasn't, but I wouldn't stand for this. I wouldn't accept his apology after what he had said.

Freya sighed as Tyler nodded, "seems about right. Congratulations you two," Tyler smiled before getting up.

Freya looked at me in surprise, frowning as the door slammed shut, "why?"

"I know what he thinks of Fred and myself and I know he doesn't mean it. I heard what he said about you out there. Hell I'm still miffed over the fact he was letting you waste away for so long and pretend to be your concerned friend when I popped in. Why should I forgive him?"

"Because....He's my friend....or was....but..." she looked at her hands, her brow furrowing, "I think I would like him at the wedding."

"Some friend he is, he didn't even want to come to the wedding when I showed up and asked. It took a lot of convincing," I scoffed.

"So you did go there?"

"It was going to be a surprise, although I didn't know about your last conversation before going," I nodded.

"I didn't think it was necessary," Freya shrugged.

I smiled, "when did that happen?"

"When we got engaged, I sent a letter and his response wasn't exactly ecstatic."

"Are you alright, sweetheart?" Freya sipped her hot chocolate as I waited for her answer.

"Yes, George," Freya gave a small smile.

I ran a hand through my hair, hating myself for my next move, I jumped from my seat and out the door. I ran down the stairs and through the slightly packed shop, Tyler was out the door and walking down Diagon Alley when I reached him.

"Tyler, stop!"

"Look, you gave it a go, I understand...I'm not your biggest fan after all," Tyler shrugged as he turned around.

"I'm not your biggest fan either, but it'd make Freya happy if you were there. Even though you were a total prat to her back there."

"I'd rather you killed me," Tyler rolled his eyes.

"Come on, you know that Freya would give anything for you to be at the wedding. She's not going to admit it to you, but she does. You know it."

Tyler gave a curt nod, "this won't change anything."

"That's such a pity, here I was hoping that we were going to have dinner parties and chat about sports together. Maybe even have lovely sleepovers just the two of us."

Tyler rolled his eyes, "See you in two weeks then, try not to muck it up before then."

I gave a nod and walked off, not caring anymore about the selfish prick as I entered the flat. Freya was still at the table with her cup, I smiled as I sat beside her.

"He'll be there," I kissed her cheek. I noticed the sides of her mouth lift up slightly.

*Freya's POV*

Seven days! Seven more days and I'll be married; I couldn't help but smile into my breakfast while looking over to George as he poured some coffee.

"Better get ready, Fey," Fred commented, placing his paper down on the table.

"For what?" I asked, sipping my coffee. "I don't open the shop for an hour."

"Hermione will be here any minute," George said.

"I don't remember asking her to help with the shop today,"

George chuckled, "Hermione is taking you away for the next six days."

"where?" I looked between the two, I didn't want to leave them, feeling nervous I looked down at my pancakes and continued to eat.

"We don't know," George shrugged.

"Hermione made sure not to tell us in case you found out," Fred finished.

"What do I pack then?"

"Already taken care of, sweetie," George kissed my hand and smiled.

"What about the shop?" I looked between the two.

"I will be watching over ours for the week along with Lee Jordan and some others. George is going to be watching over yours," Fred answered.

I nodded, "just...be careful with the shop, its good that I don't have any lessons to do this week."

"You'll be back the night before the wedding," Fred stated with a smile.

"You're alright with me going away for so long?" I turned to George, feeling scared to leave him alone. He wasn't having too many nightmares recently, but every once in a while I couldn't help but get worried about him when I noticed the dark circles under his eyes.

"I'll miss you every minute, love," George grinned.

I wrinkled my nose at him and smiled, "I suppose I can accept this then."

I finished off my pancakes and fruit when a knock on the door sounded, Hermione stood in a warm jacket and scarf.

"Hello, I'm here to take you away," Hermione grinned.

"Where to exactly?" I asked uncertainly.

"Somewhere you'll love, trust me," Hermione winked.

I turned to George when he placed a bag besides me, "you'll be alright then?" I asked him.

"The bed will be a bit cold, but I'll see you when you're back," George smiled as he wrapped his arms around me.

"I love you," I whispered, giving him a tight hug.

"I love you too, sweetheart. Have a lovely trip," George whispered, kissing my forehead before I followed Hermione out the door. "I'll see you when you get back, promise."

"Don't worry, this is well worth it," Hermione reassured me, holding out her hand for me to take.

Much to my surprise we were now standing in front of a rather large ranch house, surrounded by many trees. You could hear horses in the background somewhere as we walked up the winding path to the patio.

"Finally! You've made it!" Fleur shouted when we reached the entrance of the home that was turned into a lobby with four couches facing each other and a welcome desk straight ahead.

"Where are we?" I asked, looking around at many people dressed in bath robes.

"A get away spa, the bride to be deserves to be pampered to no extent," Hermione beamed.

"You didn't have to—"

"We know," Fleur and Hermione laughed together. "But we wanted to, you deserve it after all," Fleur smiled.

"Let's go then, shall we?" I squealed excitedly, picking up a packet on what the place offered I couldn't help but decide that I wanted it all.
