Author's Note: Okay! Final chapter here we go! *cries* I really didn't want this story to end that's why I'm doing the sequel. Now the sequel is 100% all of my ideas but the characters will remain the same. So I am really looking forward to writing it and I hope you all like it but right now, enjoy the final chapter! Hehehe...

There had been a triage area set up for all those who had gotten injured. I sat next to Claire, Zach and Gray. Owen was taken somewhere else as some as we walked in. A blanket was wrapped around me the others as well.
"Nicole," Claire said and I looked over at her.
"Yes?"
"Thank you." She smiled and looked down at the boys.
"You're welcome." I smiled back and then went back to looking around the room. I saw Vivian and Lowery, they were kissing. I felt awkward watching so I looked away. Though I felt happy for them.
"Nicole," my name was called once again but this time is wasn't Claire that called me but Gray's.
"Yeah Gray?"
"What are you going to do now?" I pulled my blanket closer around me.
"I hadn't really though about it. Maybe I'll go home." I then looked at Owen who was across the room. Blushing slightly I looked away.
"What about you and Owen?" Zach chimed in.
"I don't think it's really meant to be."
"Why? You clearly are meant to be together."
"No, I don't want to talk about this Zach." I snapped and he nodded. There was now silence between all of us. My eyes scanned the room once more and I saw Michael sitting alone. I got up and walked over to him.
"Mind if I sit?" He looked up and nodded at me. I sat down next to him.
"I got a job, got fired for trying to protect someone I cared about and then came back to see all of it disappear before my eyes." He said.
"I know, I'm sorry Michael."
"It wasn't your fault Nicole."
"It kind of was." I said and he shrugged.
"That's okay."
"Why don't you come sit with us," I offered and he nodded again and walked back over to where Claire and her nephews were. We were having small talk and that led onto Claire and I telling Zach and Gray our memories of when we first started working at the park.
"Yes!" I said and we all began laughing.
"Don't you remember that one time when Vic first started here and I took him on a tour of the place and a baby triceratops bit him as he got too close."
"No, I don't remember hearing about that!" I exclaimed.
"I tried so hard to hold back my laugher. It didn't end well though."
Well all continued laughing and telling more stories and then Gray and Zach fell asleep.
"Claire, I'm sorry." I said.
"Nicole, it's okay. I'm sorry too." Claire and I hadn't had the sunniest past but this whole previous event had brought us closer. To a point where we finally became friends.
"They seem to have the right idea." I gestured to the boys and Claire and Michael nodded in agreement.
"Definitely," Claire said.
"I can use some sleep. Especially after all this." Michael said and we all got in a comfortable position before dozing off.

I woke back up to someone tapping me on the shoulder.
"What?" I grumbled and it was Gray.
"Nicole, I can't sleep."
"What's wrong?"
"Just-" Gray paused and I gestures for him to come over to me. I gave him a comforting hug and he smile back at me.
"Whatever it is, it will be okay. Now get some more rest." Gray falls back asleep and so do I but this time it was very brief. I was woken back up by Claire.
Everyone was awake now and we were all given water by one of the helpers. I looked around for Owen but I couldn't seem to find him anywhere in the large sea of people.
A few minutes later a couple came up to us and it turns out that they were Zach and Gray's parents. I watched as they have their mother and father hugs and their mom began crying. Claire then did too. They both hugged then after.
"Mom this is Nicole," Gray said after the hugging, kissing and crying was all done and over with. I stood up to greet them.
"Hi," I say and I outstretched my hand for her to shake.
"Karen,"
"Scott," they both introduced themselves and I introduced myself. We talked for a while before I excused myself.
"It was a real pleasure meeting you but I have something I need to take care of." I looked over at Owen who looked back at me and smiled. Before I went over to go meet him I said goodbye to everyone else.
"Bye Michael. I'll miss you." I said and I hugged him goodbye.
"Zach, Gray. I'll miss you guys so much but I'm sure well keep in touch." I said and they smiled and hugged me.
"Claire, I'll miss you too." I then hugged her.
"Me too but we'll keep in touch." She said and she smiled. I then went to go walk over to Owen who was waiting for me. I turned around one last time and waved goodbye.
"Hey," Owen said taking my hand.
"Hi," I said back.
"So what do we do now?" Owen asked me and I looked at him tears beginning to form in my eyes.
"Probably stick together, you know... For survival."
"Owen," I paused taking a deep breath. "that's what I wanted to talk to you about." The look in his eyes changed and I looked down at the floor.
"What? Is everything okay Nicole?" He asked and I nodded.
"I don't think this is going to work Owen." I said and I let my tears fall. Owen was silent for a while and he then spoke.
"Why?" He asked softly brushing a tear from my cheek.
"I don't know. I just feel like you'll be better off with out me. We have to let go of our past Owen." I then let go of his hang and reached up and kissed him lightly on the cheek.
"Goodbye Owen," I said and I turned to leave. As I walked out I saw Vivian and Lowery. Claire, Zach, Gray, Karen, Scott and Michael and finally I looked back to see Owen still standing there.
As I walked out I though of what I had just done. Maybe it was for the best. Maybe it wasn't. I loved Owen, I truly did but there was something that was keeping me from being with him. I was something that almost felt forbidden.

- Owen's POV -
I waited for Nicole to finish saying her goodbyes before she came over to me.
"Hey," I said taking her hand.
"Hi," she responded.
"So what do we do now?" I asked her and I noticed tears begin to appear in her eyes.
"Probably stick together, you know... For survival."
"Owen," she said pausing. "that's what I wanted to talk to you about." She said looking down at the floor.
"What is everything okay Nicole?" I asked her and she nodded.
"I don't think this is going to work Owen." She said almost whispering and now tears rolled down her cheeks.
"Why?" I asked softly brushing them away.
"I don't know. I just feel like you'll be better of without me. We have to let go of our past Owen." She said letting go of my hand. Then she softly placed a kiss on my cheek.
"Goodbye Owen," she said and the left. I was still shocked that I stood there watching her leave. Zach then came up to me after I watched her leave.
"Owen. You will probably never come across a girl like her ever again. Sure I may not know much about love and all, I have been trying to find a way to dump my girlfriend for months but seriously. If I was you I would go after her." He said before walking back off to his family. I looked at all of them and they nodded as if telling me to go after her but instead I turned and walked the opposite way.
