~Nighttime, Inside the Store~
After Ji-hyeon left the store, Daniel resumed in trying his best to finish his push-ups. Just as he tried to finish one more, he heard the sound of the doors opening up. The moment he looked up to see who it was, he saw the beautiful girl that Ji-hyeon saw earlier.
"W-welcome!!!!!!"
"She's so pretty......"
"I....erm......"
"She's going to look at me like i'm an insect."
"Heh heh.....ah, no. Sorry, it's just that I also did exercises like that a lot. You looked a lot like me then. I'm really sorry if it sounded like I laughed at you."
"Not at all!!!"
As the young woman said that, she soon bought a sports drink and handed it to Daniel. The moment she left, Daniel was internally in tears. First Ji-hyeon helping to get money back for the store and now this. Daniel felt the world would be better with more people like them.
~Meanwhile~
"Shit, the inside of my mouth is still all cut up."
As they were in the alleyway, Doo and the rest of the group were seen beaten up as they looked inside of their pockets and saw how empty they were. After Zack lost his fight against him, Ji-hyeon persuaded them to pay up with his fists. They were throwing up their lunch soon after said persuasion.
"Fuck, i'll kill that bastard."
"How can we handle this situation? Fighting him isn't an option."
"Well, he doesn't seem to care about us so I doubt he'd waste time to rat us out immediately. The real issue is Jiho Park who witnessed Ji-hyeon persuading us. If he starts spreading the word that we got beat, it's over."
Doo merely smirked as he showed a picture of Jiho with his pants down, just like he did with Daniel in his original body. As Doo called Jiho to come over, he was unaware of something that was happening close by.
~Meanwhile~
"You .....you're the transfer student, aren't you?"
As Ji-hyeon was making his way back to his apartment after paying back Daniel, he saw someone was waiting for him. The most notable thing about this guy was the numerous tattoos that were over his body.
"Don't get too full of yourself, Transfer Student."
"....who the hell are you?"
"I heard about what you did after the fight with Zack Lee. You took 40,000 won from some other students, didn't you?"
"Yeah, but it was from Zack's lackeys since they destr-"
Before he could finish his sentence, Ji-hyeon felt Vasco putting his right hand onto his left shoulder. Suddenly the young man began to tighten his grip upon Ji-hyeon's shoulder. Usually this brought any of his victims to their knees in an instant, however, this time was different. Ji-hyeon didn't even look to be in pain as he looked at Vasco with an annoyed expression.
"You know, it's rude not to let someone explain themself when accused of something."
"He's not budging?! Is he not even feeling any pain?"
"I took that 40,000 won from Zack and his underlings because they destroyed some stuff at my friend's store after beating him up. Next time you wanna play hero, listen so you can find the real villain."
As soon as he said this, Ji-hyeon grabbed Vasco by his right shoulder with his own left hand. Suddenly, Vasco was forced down to one knee as he was holding back a scream of pain. When he tried to pry off Ji-hyeon's grip, he noticed that he couldn't break away.
"Just how strong is this guy?"
"See you at school tomorrow, hero. Now if you'll excuse me, I got some studying to do. I may not look like it, but care ALOT about my grades."
"That transfer student, he's strong. Yet why does he give off that same vibe....."
".......the same vibe as him."
~Next Day, Lunchtime~
[Jiho Park]
"Hey, Jiho! We're in the same class, right? Let's eat together."
"Wh-what?!"
"Hey Daniel, so Zoe is eating lunch with you too huh? Who is this guy?"
As Jiho looked to see who was speaking to Daniel, he saw Ji-hyeon walking towards them as he began to panic inwardly. The most popular guy in his class and now the most terrifying guy in his class were both close to him. He didn't know how to react.
"Oh, this is Jiho Park. He's in the same class as us."
"I see, nice to meet you. I'm Ji-hyeon Kwak, take good care of Daniel. He might be popular, but beneath it all, he's a little awkward."
"Hey now, no need to tell him that. Anyways, are you eating with us, Ji-hyeon?"
"Sorry, Daniel, I already made plans to eat with another friend of mine."
Nodding his head in understanding, Daniel waved at Ji-hyeon as he saw the boy walking away. Truth be told, Daniel was proud to call him a friend. Not only that, it was nice to see Ji-hyeon making friends other than him since he was struggling on how to make a good first impression. As Ji-hyeon sat down at a table, he looked at the person he was having lunch with.
"Heh, sorry to keep you waiting. So what did you want to talk about...."
"........"
"Ah, so you want to get close to Daniel? That's easy, just be yourself. That's all you really have to do. But if you need a little push, I don't mind putting in a good word for you."
".........."
"No no no, you don't have to pay me back. But I would like a favor. See I ran into this dude with tattoos over his chest and arms, he looked like he went to our school. Any idea who he is?"
"........"
"Ah, he's Euntae Lee. He goes by Vasco and is the leader of some group called Burn Knuckle? If I heard you right, then he's some sort of wanna be vigilante?"
Even though he said this, Ji-hyeon remembered what he did yesterday. Though in his case, he mostly did it because Daniel was his friend. If it was anyone else, he probably couldn't care less. While he was lost in thought, Ji-hyeon felt Jay tapping his shoulder.
"Huh, what is it?"
When Jay got his attention, Ji-hyeon noticed where Jay was pointing at. Right now, Daniel was having his right shoulder squeezed by Vasco. Just as Ji-hyeon was about to rush over to help, he noticed how Daniel was actually escaping Vasco's grip with just one hand. The boy let out a whistle as he was surprised to see Daniel had that much strength.
"Daniel Park, you keep getting more and more interesting."
~After School~
As Ji-hyeon was yawning after finishing a whole day of school, he saw Daniel rushing over to him. The boy asked if he wanted to hang out since Doo and the others invited him over after school. As Ji-hyeon stared at Doo and the others, he politely told Daniel he couldn't make it tonight. Soon the young man began to walk to his apartment as he thought about his life at school so far.
"There are definitely some interesting folks in J High, but I gotta remember why I came here. A normal life and to make my brothers proud. But........"
As he held out his right hand, Ji-hyeon had it in a position where it looked like he might do a karate chop. His brother told him to not cause too much trouble so he doesn't draw attention, but considering the training he did, relaxing so much felt a little unnerving.
Just as he was thinking this, a limo passed by Ji-hyeon as it was heading off into the distance. The boy's eyes sparkled as this was the first time he ever saw a limo in person. Though he couldn't help but feel like someone had just stole a glance at him.
"Maybe it was my imagination."
~Inside the limo~
"Do you know that person who was walking by, sir? I couldn't help but notice you were staring at him."
The driver asked his passenger with curiosity in his voice. The passenger was a very attractive young man who has dyed pink hair and dark colored eyes. He has pale skin and a slim body figure. As the young man smiled, he simply looked out the window.
"No, he just reminded me of someone I met in the past."
"Yeah, he definitely reminds me of him. The Former King of Seoul."
