"Well he is right about him doing some science-y stuff," Rocket commented.
"Yeah, hopefully bringing Ben back to life," Peter replied. "Even if I don't trust him, he can still help us."
"What the hell did Otto tell 616 Peter to get him to trust him," Peter asked incredulously.
"Whatever plan he has, it better be a damn good one," Tony said. "Or else, Peter wouldn't have gone along with it."
"Holy shit," Rhodey exclaimed.
"Talk about carrying a big stick," Tony joked faintly.
"When it comes to weapons, that'll do the job," Valkyrie approved.
"It reminds me of the Odinsword," Thor commented.
Everyone's eyes went wide.
"Miles..." Peter murmured. Peter knew Miles was not going to take well to killing a person. And even if he technically never met the him, he still wanted to help him. Peter made a mental note to check up on MIles when he went to help them.
"...So Spider-Pile," Peter joked.
"That is certainly a tactic," Shuri commented. "Just mass web them."
"A second chance," Peter realized. "Good."
"They could use it," Gamora agreed. She and Nebula knew what it was like to grow up so that the only thing they knew was how to kill. She had found her second chance with the Guardians. Something that Nebula turned down every time she was offered. They weren't the only ones. As she thought that, she looked towards Natasha.
"Okay, now kill him," Drax said.
"Dude," Tony exclaimed. "That is evil."
"They could turn on evil again," Drax defended,
"They can't," Peter said. "The Spiders took away their memories and their need to feed the life force of Spiders."
"It would be better to not risk it," Drax countered.
"That's Aunt May," Peter said. "That is simultaneously cool and scary. "
Tony paled at that. He remembered getting a call from a furious May calling him after discovering that Peter was Spider-Man and that he had been helping her nephew and then took back the suit. Needless to say, he was terrified of making her mad ever again.
"Wait, Peter died in her universe," MJ asked.
"Yes," Uatu answered. "He died fighting Daemos, but he was brought back by the Other who wanted to use him as a host."
"And yet a new bad guy is on his way to do some evil shit," Sam complained.
"Yeah, but I would advise against him challenging all the Spiders. They have proven that they are quite formidable and not to be messed with," T'Challa responded.
"When has that ever stopped villains before," Peter asked.
