Manik and Nandini entered the room where Nyonika was and saw that Raj was holding Nyonika's hand and his other hand was caressing her forehead. She had regained consciousness by now and was talking to Raj. Both of their eyes were moist. Manik ran and hugged Nyonika tightly and didn't utter a word.
Nandini asked Nyonika through her eyes if she was okay to which she bobbed her head with a soft smile. She then caressed Manik's back.
Nyonika - I am okay beta....
Manik then broke the hug and kissed her forehead to which she gave another soft smile.
Nandini - mom-dad there is good news hum sab ke liye. (Both of them looked on while Nandini's eyes were moist) Laksh is fine and there is nothing to worry about.
Both of them thanked God and their happiness knew no boundaries.
Nyonika - (with tear filled eyes) mera baccha....
Manik wiped her tears nodding while his eyes held tears too
Raj - arre yeh rone ki baat thodi hai, Khushi ki baat hai
Nandini was wiping her tears but fresh ones kept flowing since there was an instant relief that laksh is alright. Raj saw that and hugged Nandini.
Raj - bas mere bacche!!!
Manik too side hugged Nyonika. Though everyone had tears in there eyes but there were smiles on their lips too.
Nyonika - chal manik, mujhe apne laksh ke pass le chal.
Doctor entered the room.
Doctor - I am sorry Mrs. Malhotra but aap yaha se kahi nahi jaa sakti jab tak main check naa karlu.
Nyonika - doctor please jaldi check kije mujhe apne bacche ke pass jaana hai.
Nandini - Manik aap laksh ke pass jaaiye main maa ko leke aati hoon.
He bobbed and left

Ragini was sitting beside Laksh, just looking at him with tear stained face. Her tears had dried up by now. She was caressing his hair with a smile on her face.
Ragini - bohot mazza aata hai naa tumhe hum sab ko pareshan karne mein! next time aisa kuch kiya naa toh muh tod dungi main tumhara. Jaan nikaal di thi tumne hum sab ki. Aur abhi bhi attitude dekho main itne time se tumhe milne ke liye aayi hui hoon but tum aankhein hi nahi khol rahe ho.
There was a knock on the door and she knew her time was up.
Ragini then kissed Laksh on his forehead.
Ragini - Main jaldi waaps aaungi
And she left.
Manik then came in.
He sat beside Laksh holding his hand from both his hands and kissed it. His eyes filled up once again looking at his baby brother.
Manik - I don't say this often but I really - really love you Laksh and I promise you ke mere hote hue main tujhe kuch nahi hone dunga. Tu meri jaan, meri zindagi, mera sab kuch hai tu aur tere bina tera bhai nhi reh payega. Tujhe bta hai tu aise baar baar idhar hospital mein aa jaata hai toh tere bhai kaa kya haal hota hai? Bta hai naa, toh kyu aise karta hai fir? Dhyaan rakha karna apna. Agar tune mujhe woh hi time pe apni chot dekhne de di hoti toh abhi itni problem hi nahi hoti naa! But nahi aap toh Laksh Malhotra hai, ziddi no. 1. Aaj tujhe bhi mujhe ek promise dena hoga ke aage se tu kabhi apni health ko neglect nahi karega aur apna pura dhyaan rakhega. Promise kar. (No response) chal koi nahi tu araam karle, par uthte hi main promise lunga tujhse, iss baar nahi bach payega tu.
He then got up to leave but Laksh held his hand stopping him in his tracks. Manik tuned to look at Laksh happily. Laksh was slowly opening his eyes while his hand was still holding Manik's.
Manik called the doctor happily and everyone entered the room.
Manik once again sat beside Laksh.
Manik - main yahi hoon bacche.
Laksh - (eyes half closed) b..h....a....i
Manik - haa laksh main yahi hoon. Tere ekdum pass.
Manik moved his stool further beside Laksh. He had tears of happiness in his eyes. One reason was that his brother was regaining consciousness and other was that the first person Laksh called was him. Laksh finally opened his eyes completely. Nandini quickly wiped her tears seeing Laksh. She stood behind Manik. Laksh looked at her and smiled though he was still in pain and that was very evident through his face.
Laksh - Bhabhiii don't cry...... Ma...in the...ek hoon.
Further tears dropped from her eyes and she managed to Bob her head. She then went beside Laksh and kissed his forehead.
Nandini - of course tum theek ho, mere strong bhai joh ho.
And he smiled again.
Laksh - arre...e bandariya bhi mere liye ro rahi hai
His eyes kept on opening and shutting in a few few minutes.
Ragini - toh tum itna pareshan karoge toh aur kya karenge hum....
Nyonika came beside Laksh and Manik gave her his stool to sit. Nyonika caressed his forehead and hair.
Nyonika - sabse baat karega sivaay teri maa ke haa
Raj - Papa bhii
Swarna - main bhi
Manish - main bhii haa
Laksh gave a tired smile
Laksh - areeee baapre, yaha toh line lagi hai... Don't worry my fans, sako autograph milega
Everyone chuckled at his nautanki.
Doctor finally came and checked him.
Doctor - everything seems fine,we will keep him under observation for 24 hours and then let's see.
Manik - doctor, I think he is still under pain.
Doctor - yes Mr. Malhotra, I am prescribing a pain killer, we will give him that so the pain will subside.
Manik - and woh abhi bhi aankhein theek se nahi khol paa raha, like he is shutting them every few minutes
Doctor - that is because of the heavy dosage and also he needs complete rest for 12 hours after that we will run some tests and then we can give you the exact position. All I can say is that right now everything seems under control.
Manik - okay
Doctor - I think, you all should let him rest now.

After lots of discussions and arguments Ragini stayed back while rest all left.

Ragini went in the room and sat on the stool beside Laksh. She smiled looking at him. He opened his eyes slowly gave the most beautiful smile looking at her and slowly drifted back to sleep.

Raj gave Nyonika her medicines and made her sleep. He was then sitting in the balcony, looking at the moonlight and thinking about Laksh praying to God for his health.

MaNan were both thinking about Laksh. Nandini saw Manik and moved towards him. She placed her head on his chest and closed her eyes while he hugged her.
Nandini - sab theek ho jaayega.
Manik - hmm...

Next day also passed by, the tests were done and no complications were found, everything seemed perfect.
Doctor said that they could take Laksh home in a few days.
Laksh was given royal treatment and he was enjoying every bit of it. He was fed breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner at regular intervals by different people, sometimes it was Nandini sometimes Ragini or Swarna or Manik or Nyonika. Raj and Manish were his non-stop entertainment channels. Ragini helped him shave, Nyonika gave him a sponge bath, Manik helped him with his clothes and Nandini helped him with his hair and also read books to him so that he could fall asleep.

Finally Laksh was discharged. They took good care of him at home too and Ragini, Swarna and Manish kept visiting him at home.
Since MaNan were newly married some or the other functions were going on and there were constant guests at home to see the new bride. They were also going to different temples to seek blessings as per rituals.
A month passed by.

Manik returned home and saw the room empty. Nandini came out of the washroom tying her hair. Seeing her brought a smile on his face. She looked at him and gave him a tired smile. He back hugged her.
Manik - tired?
Nandini - hmm...
Manik - I have a surprise for you...
She quickly turned in his arms to face him and looked at him excited which made him fall in love with her all over again. He rubbed his nose with hers
Nandini - Manik say naa, what surprise?
He then took out 2 tickets from his pocket and showed it to her while she jumped in excitement
Nandini - we are going somewhere!!!!!!!!!! Yeahhhhhhhhh!!!!!
Looking at her excitement and happiness made him more happy
Manik - arreee dekh toh lo kaha Jaa rahe hai!
Nandini - ohhh haa, woh toh bhul hi gyi (face palmed herself)
She checked and screamed with joy
Nandini - MALDIVES!!!!!
She then checked again the tickets
Nandini - OH MY GODDDD! MY BIRTHDAY IS IN MALDIVES!!!! MANIKKKKK I LOVE YOU THE MOST! YOU ARE THE BEST HUSBAND IN THE WORLD!
And she jumped in happiness while he picked her up and twirled her happily.

Next day Ragini and Nandini went for Nandini's honeymoon shopping. Nandini wasn't sure about most of Ragini's clothes choices since they were too revealing but Ragini knew that her jiju will surely thank her for this.
Ragini - (showing a bikini) Di, come on yaar it's a beach, you have to carry at least 1 bikini.
Nandini - Ragini, tu pagal ho gyi hai
Ragini - di pehla toh yeh aapka honeymoon hai aur dusra beach pe hai toh problem kya hai
Nandini - problem yeh hai ke isse inner wear kehte hai, you know inner wear kapdo ke andar pehnte hai
Ragini - di come on yaar, see (she held her by her shoulders) this is the only chance you will get to wear something like this and sirf jiju hi toh hai and waise bhi unse kya hi chupana (teasing her)
Nandini - Shut Up! (Slowly) and by the way we haven't yet.......
Ragini - (shouting) WHAT?
Nandini gave her a look and she saw here and there realising she was in public and calmed down
Ragini - (slowly) kyu?
Nandini - kyu matlab?
Ragini - kyu matlab why, ab toh shaadi bhi hogyi
Nandini - haa but I was waiting for the right moment
Ragini - and when is that right moment coming
Nandini - I don't know
Ragini gave her a look

Ragini - now toh you will have to take this. (Slowly) Jiju won't be able to resist only (she winked whereas Nandini blushed)
Deep down nandini did want to wear it and see Manik's reaction but she was feeling shy and was under confident, what is she doesn't look that hot, as she didn't have the figure of a model.

Nandini went in the trial room and tried it. She then called Ragini in the trial room itself.
Nandini - Ragini, don't you think mera pet bohot dikh raha hai? Dekhna yaha se buldge aa raha hai.
Ragini - meri di, aap bohot hott lagg rahe ho and trust me jiju won't be able to take his eyes of you.

They then finally completed their shopping and went for lunch in a restaurant.
Ragini - di, this will be your first birthday without us
Both of their faces dropped.
Nandini - Ragini, I am very excited for the trip but I don't know if I would be able to celebrate my birthday without you all. Matlab starting main toh I was very excited ke I will celebrate my birthday there but then I realised that how much I want you guys there on my birthday and I can't even tell Manik now, he is soo excited and has planned everything.
