Chapter 10
I'm still waiting for mom to return so me and Adam can talk to her
I still have to tell adam about my plan to talk to mom and dad
I saw Adam pulling up into the driveway so I ran to his car
"Adam we have to talk to mom and dad about your marriage, you can't just give up without even trying"
I say in one breath
"Ok bro chill" he said with a little chuckle
"Okay so here's my plan adam we speak to ummi she's at the grocery store right now and abbu is at the mosque so when he comes back we speak to them at the same time" I said
He looked confused for a second then he understood and he looked at me nervously nervous
"I don't know what they will say I truly love Najma Aisha I want to marry her so badly" he says his voice breaking as though he's about to cry
"It's okay adam pray istaqarah asking Allah for help inshallah you will get your answers if Allah wills you will Adam dont forget whatever Allah wills for you you will never miss and whatever Allah doesnt will for you, you'll never reach" I say
"I know Aisha inshallah Allah will grant me this inshallah" he says reassuringly to himself

Then we both heard a car pulling into the drive way and it was non other then ummi
She got out the car and walked towards us
"Asalamualaykum ummi" we said at once
"Waalaykum salaam" she said with a chuckle
We walked into the house and sat in the living room I went to prepare tea for abbu and ummi I brought the cups and set the table
"So Aisha and Adam you two wanted to speak to me and abbu about to something do you want to continue on with me or wait till abbu Is here " she says taking a sip from her tea
I went over to adam and asked him
He said we should wait for both parents
"Ummi we can wait till abbu is here" I say
she agrees and I go upstairs. abbu won't be coming anytime soon so I might as well
I got called down by ummi I went back downstairs and she told me to take a seat
"Aisha as I'm sure you don't know your nikah is today as you will be going in two days over to Canada and will be staying there for 6 months" she says
"Oh my Allah ummi today .....what.....when are they coming" I asked nervous
"In about an hour the imam will be here and your soon to be husband with his parents " she says
I ran upstairs I can't believe this Abdullah will be my halal
in one hour I will be his wife he will be my husband

I called rahma right away
"Hey Asalamualaykum what's up gurl" rahma says
"Waalaykum salaam Guess what rahma I'm getting married to a
Abdullah our nikah is taking place in one hour please please please come over I really need you" I say despretly
"Ok wait I'm on my way" she says cutting the line
I walked to my closet and get the dress my mom and I bought last week I thought the wedding was gonna be late next month but No mom decides that it's better I go to Canada as a married women to prevent any kind of fitnah (corruption) from happening. Even though I'm pretty sure it won't because I never involved myself with guys
I went to shower toke a long nice shower after I was done I toke

I still remember that day when abdullah saw my hair and practically everything my choice of clothing since then is big and fluffy comfort doesn't matter anymore even in my room I'm ashamed
I get the mascara and lipgloss ready because that's all I really wear it's been 43 minutes already they will be arriving in 17 minutes
rahma better show up
I put on my dress it was a grey dress with white flowery linings on the waist it had sleeves which I'm thankful for
After I put it on I decided to put my hair in a bun and put on my hijab a style I always wanted to try but never got the chance to
I fixed the hijab to what I expected to be as close as i could get to perfection
I put on the mascara and pink lipgloss and looked at myself I actually looked good alhamdulillah
I heard someone coming up the stairs they knocked on my door then I unlocked my door and rahma barged in she observed me then smiled
"OMG YOU LOOK HOT " she said emphasising the hot
I smiled thanking her since she helped me zip up the dress and it fits perfectly alhamdulillah
We walked and waiting by the stairs
And I saw abdullah and his parents walk in and sit down the Imam sits in the middle and there were two chairs in front of him which I'm guessing are for me and abduallah he was lowering his gaze the whole time mashallah
He sat down in the chair saying Salam to the Iman first it was my turn now I was up to the Iman said my salaam and sat beside abduallah as soon as I sat beside him i felt him get tense
Wow he looked good in that thobe mashallah I looked at rahma and her face was practically screaming - lowa yo gaze gurl you aint married yet -
I lowered my gaze and the Imam began he asked us both if we're ready and we both replied with a nod how very odd
Wow Aisha now your making rhymes in the middle of your nikah how stupid.
I cant believe im getting married i hope this marriage is blessed by Allah

I hope Allah blesses our marriage Allah said in the Quran that if we wanted good men we must be good women so i hope I'm a good wife to him inshallah
The imam asked me "do you accept abdullah as your husband" I replied with a yes 3 times
He asked abdullah the same thing he was quite at first so I'm guessing he's gonna decline Subhanallah no I can never look at him after th....
Yes he said surprising me, cutting me off gaurd he answered yes all three times staring right at me
And we were officially married bismillah I'm married
We said our duas and the ceremony was complete
Ummi toke me to the corner and I spoke to her she said I would have to stay over with Abdullah for the remaining two day's including tonight because i was gonna leave after that
I can't believe this
I walked with Abdullah after that giving my hugs to adam and abbu and ummi I guess I'm gonna come back tomorrow after duhur to help adam talk to ummi and abbu
I got into a limo with Abdullah and he did something unexpected he interwined our fingers
I looked at him in shock and he looked like he was blushing
"What are you doing" I said caught of guard
"After a long wait your finally my wife and I heard that you will be spending only 3 nights and 2 days with me after that going to Canada I will enjoy company with you for the remaining time if you don't mind" he said not having eye contact with me
"Uh okay" I say a little weirdly
He takes the hand he had already and puts it in between his two hands and then kisses my hand moving insanely close to me
"Remember that day in the mall couple of weeks back you said you would do anything I asked because you had hurt my feeling and I said I hadn't thought of anything yet....... well my original plan was to ask for your hand but now that we're married I want you to fulfill this one wish of mine" he says
"What is it" I ask impatiently
"I want you to never forget me everyday that your in canada those 6 months will be absolute torture for me but please do not look at other men and please do not forget how much I love you" he said in the verge of tears why is he crying I'm not leaving for life it's just 6 months
" I won't" I said
I promise I respect Allah way too much for me to be looking at any other guy and you lo..love me" I asked
he looked straight at me and came face to face with me and whispered in my ear
"so very much"
I had shivers go down my spine what an affect he had on me
We reached his house and I thought I was getting my own room but his mom ran to us hugging and kissing us both on the cheeks and forhead
when she was done she told us that she set up the room for us like as in Me and Abdullah what did I expect I was a married women oh my goodness I'm married duh what if another
Ughh Never mind okay so this is my first time sharing a room with a guy or for that matter anyone not just any guy My husband
As soon as we got into our room he threw himself on the bed his room was huge I put my stuff in the closet and put on my pj's not daring to take off my hijab
I forgot my long dress pajama that i usually wear when im sleeping over at someone elses house all I had with me was my short shorts, tank top and not even my lazy hijab I still have the wedding one on I toke it off thinking I had my lazy stay at home hijab but boy was I wrong
now here i am stuck in the washroom cauz I ain't comfortable walking into the room when abdullah could see me with no hijab and revealing cloths ......... again
I heard the door click and I assumed abdullah had left the room so I checked if the coast was clear it looked like no one was there So I put my hair in a bun and checked myself I was still wearing the tank top and shorts
So I opened the door walked out in speed only to collide with a hard chest
I look up and see abdullah with wide eyes omg why does it always end up this way with me and him for Allah's sake
haven't I had enough ambarresment with him
