Chapter 14

Aisha's P.O.V

I just got back from Rahma's house it was fun just hanging out with the girls                                              They were surprised that I actually wore girl clothing and high heels but hey it was important to Rahma so why not

As I was deep in my thoughts Abdullah finally got to Rahma's place

"So how was your day" Abdullah said

"It was good alhamdulillah" I said genuinely

"Soo.. um who was at this "event" I'm asking just out of curiosity" He said

"Um.. well Rahma's friends" I said

Why does he care

"Oh Um were there any of my kind" he asked

Does he mean people like him...
Well there was his cousin maryam she was exactly like him

"Yea we were hanging out the entire night" I said getting into the passenger seat

"I don't want to seem controlling but with what you were wearing I don't think it was a wise choice to hang out with my kind" He said

"What... what are u talking about why isn't it a wise choice" I said confused

"Okay never mind" he said looking out of the window avoiding my gaze

What is wrong with him

We drove in silence without Abdullah not attempting to speak to me once                                                   What did I do?

"Were here you can go into the house first I need to go somewhere before it's maghrib" Abdullah said

"Oh okay come home soon I want to tell you something asalamualaaykum warahmatullahi wabaraakatu" I said getting out of the car making sure my open abaya didn't open

"Waalaykum asalam"
He said not looking into my eyes

This is so weird what the heck is wrong with him

I got into the house and closed the door then ran upstairs and changed into my comfortable tights and baggy shirt taking off my hijab and dress

Then I just layed in bed reciting my already memorized surahs 

Which reminds me I had to revise on al baqarah

I recited all of baqarah sitting from memory alhamdulillah I didn't struggle

I really need to get back to reading Quran more often

It's amazing how much peace and love it fills with my heart. Moments like these I appreciate what Allah gave me through islam alhamdulillah

This made me remember a few hadith Adam taught me on the importance of Quran

The Magnificence and Superiority of the Qur'an

وفضلُ كلامِ اللهِ على سائرِ الكلامِ كفضلِ اللهِ على خلقِه
The Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w) said, "The superiority of the speech of Allah compared to all other speech is like the superiority of Allah over His creation."
