Y/N's P.O.V
I'm now back in Nat's old S.H.I.E.L.D HQ.
The paralysis has worn off and I feel stronger now.
I've got Kate, Natasha and Ben with me.
Ben: So, did Goblin mention why he took you?
Y/N: He took me because he wanted to talk.
Kate: That explains why he hit you with paralysis.
Y/N: He made me an offer. He thinks that he and I should work together.
Natasha: What?
Y/N: He thinks we'd be able to accomplish more if we worked together.
I look down and continue to think about my conversation with Goblin.
Green Goblin: Despite everything you've done for them, eventually they'll hate you.
Kate: Y/N, what's wrong?
Y/N: It's nothing. Just something Gobiln said to me.
Ben: What'd he say?
I sigh and stand up.
Y/N: It doesn't matter. Look, we've gotta find him. We can't leave him unchecked.
Natasha: No, we'll find him. You need to get home and get some rest.
Y/N: Nat, I'm fine. I...
Natasha: Y/N, just go home and get some rest.
Kate puts her hand on my shoulder.
Kate: She's right, Y/N. Just go home. We'll handle it from here.
I sigh.
Y/N: Okay, fine.
I go to change out of my suit before going home.
(Two days later)
So, for the past two days I've been searching for Goblin.
But he's not been around since he kidnapped me.
Right now I'm at school and admittedly I'm a little on edge.
Goblin can show up at anytime.
I'm at my locker and grabbing some books.
???: Hey, bro.
I jump back.
Y/N: Shit!
Ben: Whoa, easy.
I sigh.
Y/N: Sorry, Ben. I'm just a little on edge.
Ben: I can see that. What's up?
Y/N: I can't shake the feeling that Goblin could show up at any moment.
???: Well, if he does, you won't have to fight him alone.
I back to see Kate behind us.
Y/N: & Ben: Kate?
She smiles.
Kate: Hey, boys.
Y/N: What are you doing here?
Kate: I go to school here now.
I smile.
Y/N: Cool.
Ben: Nice.
I close my locker and walk with the two.
Y/N: I've been on edge ever since I got kidnapped by him.
Kate: Well, your spider sense will warn you before he attacks, right?
Y/N: Yeah, probably. It's just... I don't know.
We walk outside.
Ben: Have you got a new plan to find him?
Y/N: I do.
Just then a black car pulls up and the window rolls down to see Natasha in it.
Natasha: Hey there.
Y/N: Hi. I'll catch up with you guys later. Nat and I are going Goblin hunting.
Ben: Really? What about school? It's the middle of the day.
Y/N: My parents are handling the whole, "me leaving in the middle of the school day" thing.
Ben: Okay. Good luck.
Kate: Be careful.
Y/N: I will.
I go over and get into the car with Nat.
She drives down the street.
Natasha: So, what do we do first?
Y/N: We need to go to my house. I've got some new tracking tech there and I think I can use it to track Goblin's glider.
Natasha: Oh... sure.
I look at her.
Y/N: Is that okay?
She nods.
Natasha: Yeah, yeah. That's okay. You're the boss, Spider-Man.
I nod.
Y/N: Okay.
She drives to my house.
(Fifteen minutes later)
We make it back to my house and walk in.
I see mum and dad sat at the table.
Y/N: Hey, guys.
They see me.
Laurel: Hey, sweetie.
Tommy: Hey. I thought you were going Goblin hunting.
Y/N: Well, we are, but I need some of my tracking tech. It's in my room.
Tommy: Oh, okay.
Y/N: Mum, did you call school?
Laurel: Yep. I called your school and told them you had a family emergency.
Y/N: Okay. Thanks, mum.
I head up to my room and grab my tracking tech from my desk.
I then notice the picture with me and my real parents.
Y/N: Hey, mum. Hey, dad. I'm trying to make you guys proud.
After that I leave the room.
I stop at the top of the stairs when I hear my parents talking to Natasha.
Natasha: He's not gonna get hurt. I'll keep him safe.
Tommy: The longer he's around you, the more likely he'll find out the truth.
The truth?
I walk down.
Y/N: What truth?
They all look at me.
Tommy: Oh, Y/N. It's nothing.
Y/N: It's clearly not nothing. What truth?
Mum sighs.
Laurel: Tommy, he needs to know. He deserves to know the truth.
Y/N: What truth?! Someone better explain what the hell is going on.
Natasha: He needs to know.
Tommy: Y/N, there's something you need to know.
Y/N: Clearly. What is it?
Natasha: Y/N, you're my adopted brother.
My eyes widen.
Y/N: What?
The three of them explain to me how after my birth parents died I was taken in by Natasha's family in Ohio.
After that Natasha got out and took me with her, brought me to Tommy and Laurel.
I sit down to process everything.
Y/N: This doesn't make any sense.
Natasha: Y/N, I'm so sorry I didn't tell you the truth. We thought...
Y/N: No, you mean they.
I point at my parents.
I then stand up.
Y/N: They wanted you to stay away from me. And they had no right to.
Tommy: Y/N, we're sorry but we thought it'd keep you safe.
Y/N: First of all, I'm Spider-Man. I already put myself in danger to protect this city. Second of all, it's my decision on whether I want Nat as apart of my life, not yours.
Laurel: Sweetie, we were...
Y/N: I don't wanna hear it, mum.
I shake my head.
Y/N: Look, I gotta get out of here. I can't be around you two right now.
Tommy: Wait...
I leave the house.
I can't believe my "parents" kept all this from me my whole life.
