CHAPTER 93
AUTHOR's POV
"YES KILL THAT LIL DEVIL RIGHT THERE " Dev's Mum yelled and Dev sprayed Hit spray on that nasty cockroach while his mother jumped up and down in fear.
"IS IT DEAD!?" his mother asked
"I have almost sprayed the entire bottle if its not dead yet then i wonder what will kill him" dev said pouting
He walked over to the hall and switched on the TV! But focus was not there even a bit as he thought about that soft lips which brushed against his a few weeks ago. The way she melted in his arms while her eyes looked seemed like she just found her new favourite in the world.
He'll never forget that look in her Eyes! It would be a lie if he said nothing said in his soul after that kiss! But truly his heart melt~ it felt so right to be with her, hold her in his embrace like she always belonged to him.
Suddenly his phone rang and it was from Aishwarya ! It was rare she called him but when she did it would always been about Riya and now something in him wished it would be about Riya too!
"Bro bro? Are you still around Chennai?" Aishwarya asked
"Yes! I am in my granny's home along with my parents? What's wrong ?" He asked
"Actually Riya called me ! She left her charger and AirPods in Aditi's Room can you just take it with you! Riya said Aravind will pick it up when he comes to Chennai or whenever you meet him you can give it to him! He will courier it to Riya" Aishwarya said
"You're too confusing but i'll just collect it and keep it safe with me!" Dev said
"Ugh! Fine also Riya did not tell me to ask you to pick it up! It is me okay? Do not shout or say anything to her or else i'll kill you" Aishwarya threatened, dev looked down scratching his forehead with his index finger. As he ended the call saying a bye
He informed his Mom and borrowed his cousin's bike and drove towards Aditi's home ! Of course Aditi was not here she was in Bangalore with Aravind's place.
After greeting his parents he marched into Aditi's Room where Riya stayed.
There on the bed lay her charger and AirPods but something in brown under Those stuff caught his eyes! It was her journal.Curiously he sat on the bed silently reading each page!
Tears filled his eyes slowly as he read every single word! This is how his girl felt when he was simply just angry on her! This is how she over thought every single word he uttered? She loved him so much? Sameer had broke her so she came to her and he made her forget that he ever existed. She was so much in love with him that she forgot a guy called Sameer ever existed.
She had never meant to hide it from him! In fact he was the first one to know about this love she had on Sameer . His anger was so big that blinded his eyes and the love she had on him.
He immediately picked his phone immediately and called Aishu
"Where is she now?" Dev asked slowly quietly but only he knew how badly he wanted answers
"Who? Me? Aditi? Keerthana?" Aishwarya asked
Dev would swore she would be smirking right now
"Your friend Who is not Aditi or Keerthana "Dev said
"Oh my Riya! She actually is there only chennai airport! 10:30 flight" Aishwarya said dev would swear he felt someone swap the floor under his feet.
"What's she actually doing there?"
"Uh! Dancing probably doing a concert dumbo she is leaving to Paris of course"aishu said
"If you now excuse i'll just end the call" aishu said yawning
Throwing all her stuff into his backpack! Dev rushed out to reach the airport!
She can't just leave him like this! after all that after those feelings and emotions.
By the time he reached the airport it was 10:45 ! He didn't even wanted to ask anyone he just knew the Flight would have left and she was gone forever....
TWO DAYS LATER !
Riya pulled her hairs into a high pony tail and then looked around dusting her hands and then her top.
She was wearing a Kalam Kari crop top and a cream jean. She was back to her place. A place where only silence greets her and her soul screamed freely. People back in her place would have no idea what she does until and unless she decides to share the information .
"All done Riya!" Shawn said dusting his hands
"Thank you so much nan you did a great job if not you it would have been hard" Riya said pulling him in a hug
Shawn was her fellow classmate who loved music as much as she did and he was only friend she managed to het close over the years .
The door bell Rang and Riya broke the hug to check on the person !
Riya would even Swear on Keerthana's Bike she thought she was dreaming cause the possibility of Dev standing in-front of her in Paris was nearly 0%
Unless ,dev had a look alike or she was dreaming or the least and last chance that dev himself was really in-front of her .
"Hiii" dev slowly said raising his hands and Riya smiled at him and suddenly stopped and looked at his face for a clue or a hint as of why he is here .
"Hello! Co...come in "she said moving aside from the door and letting dev in.
Shawn who was in the hall unboxing the last bag stood up.
"Shawn! This is dev my..my friend in India" riya introduced them
Shawn gave a firm handshake to dev and turned to Riya
"It's almost done ! You rest well we will set the other things tomorrow " Shawn said in his British accent and kissed her cheeks before walking away smiling at dev
Unaware of the storm dev felt Riya stood clueless what to do next ! She turned to him and faced him. Before she could ask him anything the door bell rang and she sighed the bell is ringing a little too much today.
She went out it was yet again a flower delivery! Riya yet again sighed funny how she still hoped these flowers were somewhere somehow from dev but right now when he was inside her home the last bit was hope drained.
Oh the way it hurts when hopes are drained!
