Naruto slowly rose his hands above his head and dropped the kunai he was still holding.
Jirobo gave him a satisfied smirk.
"Good. Now kneel, you piece of t-"
Jirobo screamed as a deadly precise Air Bullet pierced his wrist, nearly sawing it off, as Naruto took out his Black Steel katanas from his inventory and sliced through Cat's pink crystal prison as it dropped his hostage.
Naruto sprung forward and meant to catch Cat's unconscious body when the memories of his one last clone -the one who had fired the Air Bullet from the side- brutally came back to him.
Something had taken it out.
The blond suddenly had the feeling a fully loaded, speeding cart colliding into him. Pain exploded on the left side of his chest as he was blindsided but at the last moment he was able to catch a glimpse of the enemy that attacked him.

Skidding away from the trees and into a rice paddy, the boy collected himself the best he could, as fast as he could.
'Alright, it hurts less than the training dummy,' he thought through the haze of pain.
The light padding of his armor had absorbed part of the shock and being repeatedly beaten during his training had made him resilient to pain.
Overall, Naruto's brain sent him satisfied signs, though the pain still sucked.
Righting himself, the initiate barely had the time to raise his guard before he found himself at the receiving end of a furious haymaker of Guren.
With a grunt and protesting bone, the blond absorbed the blow as he had used Earth skin jutsu and fell in a balanced stance.
Naruto immediately sprang into action. He swiftly drew the other Black stell katanas, eyeing his formidable opponent.
Noticing Guren's level was 20, he realized the seriousness of the challenge he faced. "Shit," he thought to himself, gauging her strength.
Without hesitation, Naruto closed his eyes as he needed the precipitation of mind's eye to fight such a dangerous opponent.
Naruto leaped into the air as pink crystals erupted from the ground where he had just been standing.
In mid-air, he took out several kunai and, using his Kunai Bukijutsu, skillfully attached ninja wires to them.
He then threw the kunai, anchoring them into a tree in front of him.
Guren watched, anticipating Naruto's next move.
She expected him to use the ninja wires to swing toward her, but Naruto had a different plan. He unleashed his Wind Style: Wind Cutter Technique, sending several sharp arcs of wind her way via the ninja wires as a medium.
Guren narrowly dodged these attacks, her eyes fixed on Naruto.
As she focused on him, the tree to which Naruto had attached the kunai suddenly began to fall.
Seizing this opportunity, Naruto used the Body Flicker technique to quickly retreat. Guren attempted to pursue, but the kunai embedded in the tree suddenly glowed brightly, emitting a blinding light.
The light caught Guren off guard, momentarily blinding her.
She shielded her eyes, disoriented by the sudden flash.
When suddenly a bunch of Naruto clones jumped at her, covered in explosive seals.
"Annoying!" Gurren growled.

The original Naruto was rapidly moving through the rice field using his Body Flicker technique as he needed to get the enemy away from Cat and the others and somewhere he didn't need to hide his powers.
When he suddenly found his path blocked by a massive wall of pink crystal.
Guren, appearing triumphant, asked, "No way to escape, is there?"
Naruto, unfazed.
"Guess I have to fight," he thought to himself.
Without wasting a moment, he created two shadow clones, and both clones dashed towards Guren.
Guren, ready for their approach, raised her hand and launched two crystal spikes at the advancing clones. In response, both clones executed the Fire Style: Ash Piling Jutsu, quickly enveloping the area in a dense cloud of smoke.
Seizing the opportunity, the real Naruto leaped into the air and unleashed the Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu.
The fireball ignited the smoke-filled area, causing a massive explosion.
Naruto noticed a giant dome of pink crystal forming around him.
Suddenly, hundreds of crystal spikes shot out towards him.
Reacting quickly, Naruto employed the Uzumaki clan's Taijutsu Swirling Kata.
Empty sealing scrolls wrapped around Naruto's hands as he elegantly dodged the spikes, moving fluidly and swiftly.
Sealing any spike into the scroll the moment it came a little too close.
To protect himself, Naruto covered his arms with the Stone Skin Jutsu, enhancing his defense as he navigated the barrage of crystal spikes.
Navigating skillfully through the deadly storm of crystal spikes that would have easily made any Genins and Chunins into Swiss cheese, Naruto managed to reach the dome.
He struck its surface with his palm, on which an explosive seal quickly formed. With a sudden burst, the seal detonated, creating an inward explosion aimed at the crystal dome.
In the midst of this chaos, Naruto felt a sharp pain pierce his stomach.
Looking down, he saw Guren, clad in crystal armor, her weapon piercing through him. "You aren't a normal ninja, are you?" Guren asked, her eyes narrowing as she observed Naruto.
Naruto chuckled in response, despite the pain.
"I could say the same for you," he replied, maintaining his composure.
Then, in an unexpected turn, Naruto's body glowed and exploded in a burst of light and energy.

Guren stepped out of the debris as she saw Naruto perched atop her giant crystal wall, looking down at her as he had used substitution jutsu at the last second before her attack had hit.

Naruto quickly scanned Guren's stats, surprised at the detailed information he could gather using his observer feat.
His mind's eye, sharpened by experience and intuition, sensed that Tiger and the other ANBU members were not far away. Realizing this, Naruto knew he had to stall Guren until they could reach him.
"You know you can't escape, boy," Guren remarked confidently.
Naruto stood calmly, a hint of a smirk playing on his lips as he watched his enemy.
With a swift motion, he summoned more clones, each taking their place along the expansive crystal wall.
In unison, they drew their shurikens and launched them towards Guren.
At first glance, Guren merely raised an eyebrow in disdain.
"Five shurikens? Pfft," she scoffed internally, underestimating the young ninja.
But her confidence quickly turned to shock as the sky above transformed into a metallic storm.
Hundreds of shurikens, a veritable metal downpour, covered the heavens. It was Naruto's Kage Buki no Jutsu, a technique multiplying the thrown weapons into hundreds, each one a potential threat.
Realizing her mistake, Guren acted swiftly. Melding with the earth, she disappeared underground using the Earth Style: Head Hunter Jutsu, a classic maneuver for evasion.
However, Naruto, or more precisely, one of his clones, immediately pinpointed her location.
"There!" it signaled, pointing to a spot on the ground to the left.
Guren couldn't escape the acute perception granted by the Uzumaki clan's Mind's Eye.
With a swift movement, Naruto formed a tiger seal.
"Fuin!" he exclaimed.
The shurikens that had embedded into the earth above Guren's hiding spot suddenly glowed with a fierce light.
In a display of ingenuity, the storage seal activated, and chunks of land above Guren were stored away, leaving her exposed and surprised by such an unconventional tactic.
The Naruto clones wasted no time.
They launched Wind Style: Wind Bullets, compact gusts of wind shot with precision, alongside Fire Style: Fireball, a technique producing a massive sphere of flames. These jutsu created a dance of destruction, intertwining and aiming directly for Guren.
In response, Guren conjured the Earth Style: Mud Wall.
The ground before her upheaved, rising to form a thick barrier of mud that rose to meet the incoming assaults.
The mud wall absorbed the impact of the wind bullets, while the fireball splashed against it, sending embers and heated mud scattering in all directions.
Guren's eyes narrowed, a plan forming in her mind.
"I need to take away that brat's high ground," she thought to herself, determined to remove Naruto's strategic positioning atop the crystal wall.
With swift movements, her hands formed a series of seals, and the crystal wall beneath Naruto and his clones morphed into deadly spikes, aiming to impale them.
The spikes surged upward with lethal intent, but just as they were about to hit, every Naruto on the wall shimmered with light and exploded.
"Boom!"
The area was engulfed in smoke and debris.
"Where's the real one?" Guren pondered anxiously, scanning the settling dust for any sign of Naruto.
Then she felt it—the slight shift in the air, a telltale sign of an impending attack. Reacting quickly, she utilized her Crystal Release to conjure a barrier around herself.
Just in time, Naruto, who had coated himself in the Earth Style: Stone Skin to harden his defense and used the Body Flicker technique to launch himself like a missile, collided against the crystal barrier. He was employing the same strategy he had used against the Demon Child in the dungeon 'The Masked Cult's Lair'.
Guren could see the look in Naruto's eyes—a clear sign that he was using Spirit Possession.
Suddenly, Guren noted that Naruto's palm was the only thing that had broken through the crystal barrier.
Naruto's hand glowed, and a chakra chain shot out, striking Guren directly in the chest. The force sent her flying into a nearby boulder, and a cloud of dust rose upon her crash.
Normally, one would think that they had won, but Naruto was on edge.
He hadn't received the notification from the system that he had defeated Guren.
She had survived a chakra chain to her chest.
As the dust settled, Naruto heard a taunting voice cutting through the silence.
"Hahaha, I was wondering why you were so keen on using explosive seals, but I get it now, you have allies nearby that you want to alert. Don’t even think about leaving, boy. I am sure, Lord Orochimaru is going to love your body and that talent," Guren sneered, her voice echoing with confidence.
The clearing dust revealed a shocking sight. The chakra chain Naruto had used was embedded deep into Guren's torso, causing severe injury.
Blood flowed freely from the wound, painting a grim picture of her condition. Yet, strangely, the bleeding was being staunched as crystals began to form around the wound, effectively sealing it and preventing further blood loss.
Naruto was taken aback; her body's resilience was astounding, especially since he had seen the same chakra chain tear through an entire fortress with ease.
Determined to end the threat Guren posed, Naruto began to channel wind chakra into his chain, aiming to sever her life force in one decisive move.
However, before he could act, a repulsive, powerful chakra burst forth from Guren. It was her transformation, triggered by the activation of her cursed seal.
Guren's appearance altered drastically: her hair turned a stark white, her skin adopted a dark mahogany tone, and two crystal-like horns emerged from her head, framing her face with their menacing presence.

"Or him?" she continued, her voice laced with curiosity.
"Or them?"
She encompassed the numerous Naruto clones scattered in all directions around her.
She didn't wait for an answer.
"Let's find out!"
Guren declared, slamming her palms together with determination.
"Crystal Release: Spore Cloud," she announced, unleashing her technique.
Instantly, the battlefield was engulfed in a burst of shimmering particles, as if a giant glitter bomb had exploded at its center.
The air filled with a sparkling haze, and one by one, the Naruto clones began to vanish, their forms disappearing in puffs of smoke. Amidst this chaos, a boulder started to shimmer, revealing its true nature as a genjutsu.
Underneath it, the real Naruto was hidden, using his Yin Style: Mirage Jutsu.
Exposed and vulnerable, Naruto collapsed to the ground, a trail of blood spilling from his mask.
Guren watched with a mixture of scorn and triumph.
"What's the matter?" she taunted, her voice cold. "Entranced by my beauty, or perhaps it's the crystal dust inside your lungs and organs, destroying them?"
Naruto struggled to breathe as the air around him seemed to thicken with crystal dust.
He felt a sharp, piercing pain in his chest with each breath he took, the dust irritating his lungs and airways.
His face contorted in discomfort and pain, and he found himself increasingly unable to draw a full breath.
Overwhelmed by the sudden onset of respiratory distress, Naruto collapsed to the ground, his body wracked with coughs.
Despite the intense pain and his struggle to breathe, Naruto forced himself up just in time to defend as fast as he could against a rain of strikes that all promised death.
Right, left, high, low, with her fists, her knee, her feet, and her elbows, the frail-looking crystal clad woman assaulted him as if in a frenzy, quickly breaking his defense.
A hook caught his jaw, a hammer strike crashed against his temple, an elbow struck his ear, a hand smashed into his windpipe, two fists planted themselves in his fragile left side, hitting his stomach and spleen mercilessly.
The hail left him bloody, bruised, and barely conscious when he was finally kicked away like an insignificant puppy, some of his ribs giving up on him.
The world was whirling strangely around him.
Everything was dark, his ears were whistling, and he felt like one giant bruise. His body felt weak and hurt so much, it felt like the strength had been robbed from it. The worse was the water that was getting in the way of his breathing. It tasted horrible and it kept precious air from reaching his suffocated lungs.
Claws of panic sunk in the blond's heart. He was drowning; he was drowning, and it was very unpleasant. Naruto flailed his arms, weakly at first, then with more and more strength as it became harder to keep awake.
"You ninja seem fond of cutting your enemy's throat, so you'll suffer the same fate."
The blond felt someone grab his shoulder and right his body out of the water. Air immediately entered his throat and he coughed desperately, trying his best to feed his lungs the oxygen they needed. Suddenly, he felt his mask ripped from his face, the ceramic breaking under powerful fingers. Weakly, the blue-eyed blond attempted to swat away at the hand that was removing his balaclava. By reflex more than conscious thoughts, Naruto seized a kunai and screamed when his fingers were crushed and broken by a grip of steel.
Finally, his balaclava was torn away, and the shiny metal flashed before his eyes before he felt the blade bite into his flesh. his cries of pain turned into a gurgled wheeze as the knife tore through his throat, severing his vocal cords, his windpipe, and his aorta.
With a splash, Naruto's body fell in the paddy again, blood escaping freely from a large gash across his throat and coloring the water red.

[ Author Note: Well, I hope you liked Naruto vs. Guren. I wanted this fight to show off Naruto's level of skill from the ANBU training and everything. While his stats have improved due to the equipment, his skills, his strategies, and everything are completely different from when he was in the Orphanage of Hell dungeon, where Naruto couldn't even think of battling Walter, yet here he is, battling someone who is equal to Walter. Also, I know Guren doesn't have a curse mark, but I gave her one. In Naruto vs. Base Guren, Naruto almost killed her, and only when she activated her Cursed Seal was she able to defeat Naruto. Okay, it's obvious that I am not going to make Naruto respawn - about that, do you guys think I should remove the respawn from this fanfic? I know I told you that I have a plan for it for the future, but I can rework around it. Tell me in the comments if I should remove the respawn skill, and if I do, then I would rewrite a couple of chapters involving Mizuki and replace them with slice-of-life chapters like Naruto and Hinata go prank a shopkeeper, Hinata and Tenten have a talk.

Whatever, Naruto isn't going to use respawn, so how does he survive? And before anyone answers, no, Naruto isn't going to use the Kyuubi, rather the system, and more importantly, an item that Naruto got in the Orphanage of Hell.
