Naruto scanned Walter's stats several times, his jaw dropping in disbelief. The enemy was twice as strong as him in virtually every aspect. The revenants might have been slow-witted, and the clown susceptible to his trump cards, but this adversary was on a completely different level.
Taking a deep breath, Naruto activated his Spirit Possession, allowing Sherlock Holmes's analytical instincts to surface. He needed a strategy, something more than just brute force. This dungeon, he realized, was designed to be story-driven, not just a series of overpowering battles. He had to be smarter, more cunning.
"How can I win against this behemoth?" Naruto pondered. He needed to find a weakness, an angle he could exploit.
That's when Maria's words echoed in his mind: "He is arrogant, cruel, and will do anything if his ego is challenged."
A plan began to form in Naruto's mind. He knew he couldn't outmatch Walter in terms of raw power, but perhaps he could use Walter's ego against him.
Naruto stood confidently before Walter, the grotesque figure on the throne. "I don't think I need a coward's approval to do anything," he said, his voice dripping with contempt.
"Coward?" Walter echoed, his voice a cacophony of a hundred whispers. The skull tendrils around him let out a collective, ear-piercing scream.
"You dare call a god a coward?" Walter's voice boomed, his anger palpable.
"Why not? You're so scared of kicking the bucket that you turned yourself into... whatever this is," Naruto retorted, gesturing at Walter's monstrous form. "Threw away your humanity for what? A shot at playing god?"
"To be God," Walter declared, his voice thunderous.
"Oh yeah? If you're really a god, then prove it. Let me hit you with my best shot. What do you say?" Naruto challenged, a smirk playing on his lips.
Walter, visibly taken aback by Naruto's audacity, seemed to contemplate the proposal. His desire to demonstrate his godlike power was evident, his ego stung by Naruto's taunts.
"Alright, mortal. Show me your 'strongest attack'. I'll indulge your foolishness," Walter conceded, his tone laced with condescension.
Naruto swiftly pulled out several Fuinjutsu scrolls, a bottle of ink, and a brush. Walter watched, perplexed by this preparation.
"What are you doing?" Walter asked, his voice betraying a hint of curiosity mixed with disdain.
"Well, Mr. God, I'm just getting ready for my strongest attack," Naruto replied with a nonchalant tone, adding an extra layer of sarcasm to emphasize Walter's self-proclaimed divinity.
"It won't do anything," Walter asserted, his confidence unshaken.
Naruto nodded, seemingly unfazed by the comment. "We'll see about that," he said, focusing on his scrolls. He then opened his skill tab, letting his Spirit Possession guide him. His fingers scrolled through the list of Fuinjutsu techniques, searching for the perfect one to use against the formidable foe before him.

"That could... no, that will work," he thought confidently.
He summoned 100 shadow clones, each one immediately getting to work with the scrolls and ink. Walter watched, his arrogance evident as he assumed Naruto was merely doodling without purpose.
After about 15 minutes, Walter found himself surrounded by giant strips of scroll paper. They encircled him, forming a sort of triangular formation.
"Are you done?" Walter asked, his tone dripping with disdain.
"Yes," Naruto replied with a nod, his expression calm and collected.
"Then hit me," Walter taunted, confident in his invulnerability.
Naruto just smiled and formed a tiger seal. "Fuin! Three Star Seal Barrier: Hachi's Gate," he announced.
Three barriers materialized around Walter, trapping him inside. He looked momentarily confused, not perceiving any immediate threat.
"This is supposed to be an attack?" he scoffed.
Naruto didn't respond directly. Instead, storage scrolls within the barriers began releasing dense smoke, rapidly filling the enclosed space. Soon, the smoke became so thick that Naruto could barely see the barriers, let alone Walter inside them.
"Hey, can you wait a few seconds for the technique to work?" Naruto called out, a hint of mock concern in his voice.
"Pathetic mortal, it won't do anything," Walter responded arrogantly, his voice echoing from within the smoke-filled barriers.
Naruto didn't stay to argue. He quickly left Walter's room and moved through the orphanage. As he did, he saw similar barriers filled with dense smoke clouds in other rooms. While he had been setting up the trap for Walter, his clones had been busy preparing identical traps in all the rooms containing the human batteries.

Walter found himself trapped within Naruto's Three Star Seal Barrier, surrounded by an ever-thickening cloud of smoke. Confident in his powers, he initially dismissed Naruto's technique as ineffective.
However, his complacency turned to alarm when a small spark ignited within the smoke-filled barrier. Walter's eyes widened as he realized what was happening. The dense smoke, combined with the spark, triggered a massive dust explosion. The force of the explosion was colossal, engulfing the entire space within the barriers.
As the explosion raged around him, Walter felt a sudden, alarming drain on his power. He sensed that the 'human batteries' - the source of his strength - were disappearing, one after another. The explosion was not only destroying him physically but also severing the source of his godlike power.
In a desperate attempt to survive, Walter tried to redistribute the damage, to manipulate the shadows, to use his telekinesis - anything to resist the overwhelming force.
But it was futile.
The explosion was too powerful, too all-encompassing. It atomized everything within its reach, including Walter.
He felt his body disintegrate, his consciousness fading away as the explosion consumed him. The last thing he saw was the smoke and fire enveloping him, a fitting end to his reign of terror. Walter, the self-proclaimed god, the architect of so many horrors, was finally defeated, not by brute force, but by a cleverly executed plan that used his own arrogance against him.

As Naruto dashed out of the orphanage, he found himself in the remnants of the playground. He quickly activated his Stone Skin technique just in time as the shockwave from the massive explosion inside the building hit. The force of the explosion, caused by the dust combustion in the basement, created a powerful vacuum effect. The sudden change in air pressure was immense, causing the already weakened structure of the orphanage to implode.
Debris flew in all directions as the building crumbled under the force. Naruto, protected by his Stone Skin jutsu, watched as the orphanage, the site of so much horror and pain, was reduced to rubble.
With a triumphant laugh, Naruto began to dance amidst the destruction. "Take that, Walter, you arrogant prick! Who's the loser now?" he taunted gleefully, his voice echoing across the destroyed playground. He was reveling in his victory, the satisfaction of defeating a monster who had considered himself a god.
As he celebrated, Naruto noticed something beautiful and unexpected. The souls that had been trapped by the orphanage began to rise, creating a breathtaking aurora in the sky above. The lights danced and shimmered in a multitude of colors, a stark contrast to the destruction below.
His notifications were going off non-stop. Naruto's experience points and level-up bar were filling up rapidly.

Hey readers, Adamos_Amet here! I hope you're all enjoying the recent arc as much as I loved writing it. This part of Naruto's journey has been particularly exciting for me because of the subtle parallels between Naruto and the orphans in the dungeon.
I've always been intrigued by how characters find meaning in their circumstances. For instance, Maria found solace in her dolls, similar to how Naruto, as an outcast, found his own kind of solace in Ichiraku Ramen. These small, seemingly insignificant things can hold immense value, and exploring that has been a real joy.
I wanted to address something about Walter's character. Yes, his defeat might have seemed anticlimactic, but that was intentional. Walter was designed to be a pathetic, evil egomaniac. Unlike the Baron, he didn't get a cool fight or an intense moment because his role wasn't to shine. He was more of a backdrop to highlight the real focus of the story - the orphans, the victims, the dungeon, and their stories. His end as a pathetic scrub underlines his true nature.
Now, let's talk about the spectral maiden. She's the real boss monster of this arc. This entire dungeon journey is meant to impart a lesson to Naruto about lingering hatred and unfinished business. It's setting up for the next chapter, where Naruto will confront his own feelings of hatred towards Konoha. This internal conflict is a crucial part of his character development and will be a significant focus in the upcoming arc.
On a side note, I used this opportunity to give Naruto a level-up boost. He's now at level 15, which puts him somewhere between high Chunin and low Jonin level. Remember, in our story:
Levels 1 to 6 represent Genin.
Levels 7 to 15 represent Chunin.
Levels 16 to 20 represent Jonin.
Levels 20 and onwards represent Kage.
But don't worry too much about the numbers. In our story, Naruto's skills and tactics are what really matter. He wins like a ninja, relying more on his intelligence and strategy than sheer power.
