and i can't help but forget my own name
it always goes this way
sleeping on the floor
the moonlight peering in
i wish this world could give us more
there is no god above
just me and her in this bed

let me become the edge of her silence
and feel all of what she'll never see
harbor faith inside her eyes
so close to home I'd feel alive
but we have just tonight
she glistens in the sun
becomes my faith
and here we'll always be
