Chapter 12
SOBRANG SAYA ANG nararamdaman ko dahil sobrang friendly ng mga kasama rito sa Maleficent paint, Meron ring buffet na kasama rito sa building na pwedeng kainan hanggat gusto mo. The people surrounds me in here are all smiling and laughing, most of them are looking rich and wealthy but they're all humble, I like them. Marami kaming naririto may mga lalaki at babae pero mostly na kasali ay mga babae na mukang galing sa mamayang pamilya.
Nakaayos narin ang nga upuan na uupuan namin kapag nagsimula na ang competition, hindi nadin ako nagdala ng mga gamit pang paint dahil libre nadaw iyon dito at kapag natapos ang competition ay ilalagay nila iyon sa Isang room at isasabit, at bibigayan kami ng pagkakataon para tignan lahat ang mga painting's then kaylangan naming magbigay ng score's at ilagay iyon sa malaking box na nakahanda na sa labas ng pinto. Ang gagawin lang talaga namin ay pagandahan ng painting's at kapag nagustuhan iyon ng judge's at kung sino ang may malaking score's ay siya ang mananalo at bibigayan ng 5k Meron pang kasamang trophy.
"Okay we can now start painting! we will give you hours to finished it, let's start!" The mc of the Maleficent paint announced
Nagpalakpakan kami bago kanya kanyang magsuot ng apron para magsimula na. I've decided to paint something that can relate to my life, an innocent dark painting yet have a meaning.
While doing her painting she can't help but to smile softly as she looked at her painting's, she's carefully doing the line's and the texture's of her painting's, she wants it to look realistic even they only have an hour she wanted to do it, she wanted her painting's to be realistic as much as she can.
I want this painting to be take care of this people on the art gallery Maleficent's paint, because for her this painting of her have a dark meaning that she's keeping to herself.
She's so calm and collected while painting she doesn't want to feel pressured of the time the mc gave us, because if she feel tense her paint might have a damage and she doesn't want that. She doesn't want to be like the others in the room feeling tense, as much as possible she doesn't even want to think the hours that the mc gave them, she doesn't want to think how many minutes they can still paint.
So the stuff are all impressed to her because of how she calmed is, and Eloise already caught the judges attention because of how she acts. They're all impressed to her.
Her hands are moving swiftly while painting, she's always check the texture's of her painting, the lines, she's always checking if it's smooth because that's how she starts the painting she's doing. She's always checking the whole canvas because she doesn't want to forget any spot.
She uses the floating canvas painting, before the competitions start, the stuff tell them to choose what canvas they're prepare to paint. So she chooses the floating canvas painting.
Until the time ends, she calmly put all the brushes she used and remove the apron and let the man— one of the stuff to carry her painting to the other room where the all painting's will hanged at the walls.
She smiled and nod at the woman who's standing up from her seat and let the stuff to carry her painting too. The woman smiled at her too.
"Hi there! My name is Karina Faye Salcedo nice to meet you?..."
I smiled at her. "Eloise, that's my name nice to meet you too, Karina."
She smiled wildly at me before looking around while we're walking towards the room where the painting's will hang. "You know? I like to be in here, all the people's are friendly and humble even though they're rich."
Nagtaka ako saglit. "You're shock too aren't you? All the rich lady's and guy's in here are not arrogant like the other rich lady's and guy's."
Tumawa ito. "Yes, the people surrounds me in abroad are all arrogant, jerk's and bitches."
"I can slightly relate to you." I chuckled.
We both laugh slightly. Just like what I said earlier the people in here are all friendly and humble.
We both walked towards the room, as we looked at the mc who's smiling.
"We will wait first to all of this." She pointed the painting's. "To dry before we continue— observe each other's paintings to get a points so let's eat for now!"
The mc walked towards the other room so we followed her, the buffer are in there so all of the competitors eat while waiting the painting's to dry.
Kaunti lang ang kinain ko dahil wala naman akong masyadong gana para kumain, Karina and I share the tables until the sit are full of friendly people. I don't trust easily but I can feel this people's surrounded me are not dangerous people.
We talked to each other, share each other's life like Karina and her boyfriend, some business, some school life and some family members and problems.
Until the stuffes and mc already announced that we can walk around to the art gallery room to give each other's points. They gave us a paper where we should write the paintings title and gave that a points an over one-hundred.
I walked towards at the first painting it's a forest with a waterfalls in the middle it's beautiful but I can't see the happy part or something, it's just— something is missing so I gave it a forty-five over one-hundred.
The next painting is a garden of full of flowers and some butterfly's it's lovely and the texture are not bad so I gave it a sixty five out of one-hundred.
The third one is a scenery's, sunrise, sunset and cloudy. It's beautiful, I like sceneries and the person who painted it must like the sceneries too since the texture and lines are all in the right direction. So I gave it a eighty over one-hundred.
The next one is like a flower farm with beautiful sunset it's pretty too so I gave it a sixty.
Nagpatuloy ako sa paglilibot at pagbibigay ng points hanggang sa matapos ako, the artist in here are all have different taste she can tell.
I'm not the only one who paint a person the others too. Mabilis akong lumapit sa box kung saan ilalagay ang mga papel. Kapagkuwan ay napatingin kay Karina na tumawag saakin, nagulat ako ng bigla siyang kumapit sa braso ko at hinila ako sa gawa ko.
Sobrang laki ng ngiti ni Karina habang palapit sa painting kung saan ito isinabit. She looked at Karina, confused.
"What?"
"Your the one who paint this right?"
I nod slowly. "Yeah... why?"
"This painting of yours is so beautiful! When I first saw this I thought to myself that this painting have a deep meaning that I can't explain!" She exclaimed.
I smile. "It does have a deep meaning though."
"Omg! So I'm right! Can you tell me what's the meaning of this painting?" She hugged me.
I gently shook my head. "Uh, I can't sorry."
Napasimangot ito bago ngumiti. "Okay, I understand naman. But can I have a favor?"
"Sure." Mabilis na sagot ko.
"Can you paint for me? Don't worry I'll pay you. Just paint kahit one lang, I can give you my number so you can call me nalang kapag tapos na at pwede ko ng kuhain."
Napatingin ako sakanya, muka siyang nagmamakaawa na hindi ko alam. I don't know why she wanted me to paint for her if she can paint too.
"Why?"
Halatang nagtaka siya sa sinabi ko. "What do you mean, why?"
"I mean why do you want me to paint for you if you can even paint?"
"Ohh." Napatango ito. "I want you to paint for me because I wanted it to be my collection. Your painting is so beautiful and as a painter too I know your painting have a meaning that I can't do, so I want one of your painting to be my collection." Paliwanag nito.
Napatango tango ako bago ngumiti sakanya. "Sure, why not?"
Nanlaki ang mata nito bago magtatalon sa tuwa, inalalayan ko pa siya dahil baka matipalok siya dahil baka heels siya.
"Thank you so much Eloise! Here's my number just call me nalang if pwede ko nang makuha okay?"
I smiled and nod. Naglakad kami palabas ng room bago umupo sa kanya kanyang table, at mag cellphone.
Sinubukan kong tawagan si Braxton dahil Maya maya ay mag papasundo na ako pero hindi siya suma sagot, i tried to call him many times but he's not answering.
Nagsisimula na akong magalala.
So I called one of my friends in the village, Evelia.
Mabilis itong sumagot. "Hello?"
"Hi Ev, I just want to ask do you know where Braxton is? Hindi niya kasi sinasagot ang call ko."
"Oh, I think because they leave hours ago ng maihatid ka niya biglaan iyon dahil nagkaproblema daw sa org kaya pinasama siya nila Tito."
I pursed my lips. "Oh? Is that so? Okay thank you."
"Sure."
Mabilis niyang pinatay ang tawag bago mag message kay Miles.

"Are in here?"
Wala pang ilang segundo ng mag reply ito.

"Yep, why?"

"Can you pick me up here in the Maleficent paint?"

"Sure."

"Great! I will just messaged you if you need to pick me up okay?"

"Okie dokie!"
Mabilis kong nilagay sa shoulder bag ang phone ko ng makitang palapit saamin ang MC ng Maleficent paint.
"Are you all excited?!" Masayang tanong ng mc.
"Yes!!!" Sabay sabay na tugon namin.
Tumawa muna ito. "The judges and the points you have to each other's are now computed!"
Nagpalak pakan naman kami. Tumayo ang Isang Jude bao tumingin saaming lahat.
"All of you have a great work's! But of course only one of you will have the trophy and the money. I already saw the painting's that you'll made and all I can say are impressive!" The judge said. "Now I will announce the winner!"
Halos sabay sabay kaming ngumiti habang hiniintay ang panalo.
"The winner! The winner is... Is... The winner is Ms. Eloise!" He happily announced.
Napatili si Karina bago ako yakapin at ang ibang malapit saakin na table. I smiled before walking towards the small stage and take the money and trophy.
The judges smiled at me as the mc. The judges and I have a picture's and asked for my permission to post the picture and I said yes.
Bumalik ako sa table namin at nagpasalamat sa mga nagbati saakin. Nang matapos ang small competition ay kaagad akong sumabay palabas para intayin ang magsusundo saakin. Susundin daw kasi siya ng boyfriend niya kaya sumbay na ako palabas ng building.
Tuluyan nang umalis sila Karina at ang boyfriend niyang parang masungit at sakanya lang mabait.
Akamang magme message ako kay Miles para magpasundo ng biglang may kotseng pumarada sa tabi ko at ayon ay ang kotse ni Brax.
Malaki akong napangiti bago siya salubingin ng yakap. Mahigpit niya akong niyakap pabalik bago halikan ang tuktok ng ulo ko.
"So? Who's the winner hmm?" Tanong nito bago ako alalayan sa shotgun seat.
Inintay ko siyang makapasok ng kotse bago sagutin.
"Me!" I proudly said.
"Wow!" He laughed softly. "My little kitten is the winner."
I bit my bottom lip because of what he nickname to me. He once called me that when I got mad at him and he called me that again.
"Of course! Ako pa?"
Sabay pa kaming tumawa ng mahina dahil sa sinabi ko. I thought they have a sudden meeting?
"Where do you want to go little kitten? My treat because you won."
Napatingin ako sakanya bago tumingin sa kalsada. Saan nga ba?
"I want to go to the park and tikman ang mga street food na makikita natin?" I suggested.
"Sure." Napakagat labi ako ng hawakan niya ang hita ko, napatingin ako sakanya pero parang wala lang sakanya.
"What did you paint?" Tanong nito habang nakahawak sa hita ko at pinisil iyon ng mahina.
I deeply sigh as I said, "It's a simple yet realistic paint, a girl with black hair facing softly at the seven years old girl with black hair who's looking innocently at her." I shrugged.
A smile appears to Braxton's lips. "Wow, I'm just imagining it and I can say it's really pretty."
"Of course ako kaya ang gumawa non." May pagmamalaki sa boses ni Eloise.
"Does it have a meaning?"
Tumango ako. "Yep, but I can't tell you."
Braxton frown. "Why not?"
I giggled. "Secret."
Napailing nalang si Braxton bago tuloy tuloy mag drive.
Yep secret because you will know it too but not now.
NAGTATAKA AKO SA kilos ng mga magulang ko pati narin sa mga kuya ko, alam kong hindi lang ako ang nagtataka pati narin si Tyler na nakatayo sa gilid ko. Nasa grocery kami ngayon dahil biglang nagaya sila Mommy dahil daw wala na ngang laman at stock na pagkain sa bahay.
Pero ang hindi ko maintindihan ay bakit kami sinama? Hindi naman kami sinasama ng mga ito kapag naggo grocery dahil anong gagawin namin diyo tutunganga pero hindi hinahayaan din kami nila Mommy and Daddy na pumili ng mga gusto namin. Kuya Travis said sa labas daw kami kakain at magba bonding daw muna kami dahil naging busy sila this past few weeks so Tyler and I agree.
Malamang naman na ginagawa nila ito para bumawi saamin dahil halos Isang buwan na kaming hindi maayos nag uusap magpamilya dahil nga sini secured nila ang safety naming lahat.
Dahil sa iniisip ko ay hindi ko mapigilang matuwa. Alam nilang may nagawa silang Mali saamin ni Tyler kaya gumagawa sila ng paraan para mabawi nila iyon. Well even I got mad at them because they're forgot they have a kids and siblings there still trying their best to make up for us.
Masaya ako na ganito ang mga magulang at kapatid ko, alam nilang mali ang ginawa nila na magpaka busy para lang ma make sure na ayos kami pero kinalimutan naman nila kami, kaya bumabawi sila saamin dalawa ni Tyler and that's makes me happy.
Masuwerte parin ako— kami ni Tyler dahil ganito ang magulang at kapatid namin.
"Come on Eloise, Tyler pumili na kayo ng kahit anong gusto niyo."
Napabalik ako sa reyalidad ko nang bigla kaming tinawag ni Mommy. Tumingin ako sakanya at ngumiti naman si Mommy saakin.
Lumapit ako sakanya. "Mommy I didn't want anything here because kapag bumibili kayo lagi niyo namang binibili ang mga gusto namin, from food's to things."
Bumuntong hininga nalang si Mommy bago tumango. Sinundan nalang namin sila kung saan sila pupunta mula sa meat section at sa chocolate at kung saan saan. Hanggang sa matapos sila sa pag grocery nakasunod lang kami.
"Saan tayo mommy?" Tanong ko.
Hawak nila kuya at Daddy ang mga groceries na binili namin habang naglalakad kami papuntang van.
"Restaurant baby, it's your Tito Terrence restaurant."
Napatango ako, hindi naman nakakapagtaka dahil sobrang sarap mag luto ni Tito Terrence baka mas magulat pa ako kapag hindi siya chef sa galing niyang magluto.
Nagpo phone habang nagsisimula nang mag drive si Daddy, nagkukulitan sila kuya Tristan, kuya Travis at si Tyler habang ako ay busy ka chat ang mga kaibigan at si Braxton na mga nangu ngulit maggala.

Zell: oo nga para makasama din ako wala kasi now sila Mommy.
Eloise Davison: so bukas nalang?
Ayisha: oo.
Puro thumbs up react ang ginawa nila sa message ni jared ibig sabihin ay hindi kami tuloy ngayon at bukas kami aalis.
Binaba ko ang phone ko at inilagay sa bulsa na mailing pagkakamali dahil pagka lapag ko ay bigla akong kiniliti nila kuya at ni Tyler.
"Shit, wag kuyaaaa!" Sigaw ko habang pinipilit na tanggalin ang mga kamay nila sa beywang ko.
Tinawanan lang ako ng mga kapatid kong magagaling habang tuloy parin sa pagkiliti saakin.
"Wait." Halos wala nang lumabas sa boses ko dahil sa hingal tumawa.
Laking pasasalamat ko ng tigilan nila ako bago nginisian kaya tinignan ko sila ng masama.
Akamang hahampsin ko sila isa isa ng nagsalita si Daddy.
"We're here."
Mabilis akong lumabas ng van ng maiparada ni Daddy ang van bago tumingin sa paligid.
Naglakad kami sa entrance at kaagad binati. Sumunod ako Kayla Mommy dahil mukang nagpa reserve na sila ng pwesto at tuwang tuwa ako ng makitang sa isang gilid iyon kung saan kitang kita ang view.
"Wow," tumingin ako sa paligid ng restaurant ng makaupo. "This is beautiful I hope the food satisfied me."
Narinig ko ang pagtawa ni kuya Travis.
"You already tasted the food that Tito Terrence cook so there's no doubt that the food in here can satisfy you."
Napatango tango ako bago mapatingin sa waiter na nagbigay ng menu at tumingin sa menu na ibinigay nito.
"I want steak, carbonara, some salad and wine. That will do." Bigay ko sa waiter bago ngumiti.
Binigay nila kuya, Tyler at nila Mommy ang order nila bago mag kwentuhan.
"So? Do you all know who and what's the reason why did the attackers, attack us?" I ask.
Umiling si Mommy. "We can't still know who they are and what their reason to attack you, but there's one thing I know and I'm sure about, this is not the Argyros triad fault— there's no doubt about it."
"How sure you are Mom?" Kuya Travis asked.
Mommy sip the wine. "Because if they are behind of it, we the Organization and Seria will not have a hard time to know." Mommy sigh. "We have a spies in them and the Argyros triad are not that powerful to hide this kind of thing's, organization and the Argyros have a same wealth and power so there's no fucking way that the Argyros triad are all behind of this."
Halos sabay sabay pang nagbuntong hininga sila Mommy at kuya. Kaya napailing ako, I wanted to help them but if I do that a big danger would probably come to us.
"I thought the organization where you are participants Mom have a new technology or system? That buil by the most intelligent worker on org?" Si Tyler naman ang nagtanong.
Si Daddy ang sumagot. "Yes, but because that's only new there's still have issue in it. So the system that the organization build still need to get a repair because it's alarming even though there's no danger."
Kuya Travis interpute. "That's odd isn't it?" Napatingin sakanya sila Mommy and Daddy. "Because, you always telling us—Tristan that the organization system never field, maybe someone is behind of it?"
"That's right!" Sangayon ni kuya Tristan. "If the organization never field before then this might have a reason, maybe someone is trying to blocked us? Or maybe to confused us? Disturb and distract us for something?"
Natigilan sila Mommy and Daddy bago tumingin Kayla kuya. "That's significant and kinda true. But if it does, who? And why they doing that? Are they inside of the organization or not?"
"We will not know about that because this is the first time we discussed it seriously and considered because when we have a meeting none of us are understand anything at all. Magulo ang nagiging meeting natin dahil palaging kung ano ano ang hinala." Napatingin naman kami kay Daddy. "And if our theories are not true, maybe there's something we didn't know whether inside or outside of the organization."
Natahimik sila dahil sa mga sinasabi nila.
"Sasabihin mo ba ang mga pinagusapan natin kay Tita Sereia Mommy?" I asked again.
Akamang magsasalita si Mommy ng unahan siya ni kuya Travis.
"I think we shouldn't."
"What do you mean?" Taking tanong ni Daddy.
Huminga ng malalim si kuya. "Because this is just theory, what we talk about are all theories, we knew Tita Sereia, she will investigate immediately I know she's smart and she will probably built a plan but still, wala tayong kaalam alam kung meron nga ba o wala." Tumingin siya Kayla Mommy and Daddy. "Pwede iyong mag cost ng kapahamakan niya at ng bulubog organization kahit pa gaanong siya katalino dahil nga wala tayong ebidensya. A strong evidence to support her if she will built a plan."
Napatango si kuya Tristan bilang pagsangayon.
"Kuya is right Mommy, Daddy." Sangayon din ni Tyler.
Napatango sila Mommy and Daddy, ibig sabihin ay hindi nila sasabihin kayla Tita Sereia ang pinagusapan namin, that's good.
"Okay that's enough, we shouldn't talk about this in the middle of our dinner."
Tumingin saakin si kuya Travis. "You're the one who opened it though."
Nagtawanan naman sila Mommy at sila Tyler kaya napasimangot ako.
I want to know what they're planning to do, so if that plan of theirs are dangerous that can cause of their organizations down fall I can immediately blocked it.
Kung ano ano na ang pinagusapan namin at pinipigilan na iopen ang usapan tungkol sa organization. Napunta na kung Meron na ba kaming nagustuhan o may nililigawan ba sila kuya. Na nagpatigil saakin.
"You Travis? Don't you have a girlfriend?"
Mabilis namang umiling si kuya. "I don't have any plan to court someone or have a girlfriend Mom."
"Bakit naman?" Demand ni Mommy.
"Travis, wala kaming plano ng Mommy mo na tumandang walang apo." Natatawang sabi ni Daddy.
"Nandyan panaman si Tristan." Turo niya kay kuya Tristan. "Baka siya may planong mag asawa at anak."
Kagad namang umalma si kuya Tristan. "Oy! Wag niyo na akong idamay, I have a same plan with kuya."
Napasimangot si Mommy habang napailing nalang si Daddy at tumingin saamin ni Tyler.
"Kayo, may balak naman siguro kayong mag asawat anak ano?"
Tumango si Tyler pero hindi ako sumagot, kaya napalatak si Mommy and Daddy.
"Iisa lang sa mga anak natin ang balak na magkaroon ng asawat anak, mahal." Sumbong ni Mommy.
Natawa kami nila kuya Travis dahil doon.
"Bakit ayaw niyong mag asawa?" Tanong ni Mommy. Halatang hindi tanggap ang sagot namin.
Mabilis akong sumagot. "Because our world is dangerous and not safe Mommy, Daddy. If ever I want a husband and child then that's only mean that our world who lived in is less than dangerous."
Totoo naman, kung may balak akong mag asawat anak, isa lang ang ibig sabihin non. Sigurado na akong hindi na masyadong mapanganib ang mundong ginagalawan namin, katulad ngayon.
Natahimik si Mommy and Daddy dahil sa sagot ko pero nakangiti sila kuya Travis at kuya Tristan.
"That's my reason too." Sabay na sabi nila kuya.
Nagbuntong hininga nalang sila Mommy and Daddy bago tumango na para bang talo na sila.
"Why? That's only mean you accept that you can't be happy around of this dangerous world." Napatingin kami kay Tyler. "Me I wanted a wife and kids because I wanted to feel like someone is waiting for me at home, makes me feel better kahit yakap lang. I didn't even think about that— your reason because, If Mommy and Daddy survive this cruel world, that's only mean we can do also."
Napakurap kami nila kuya sakanya dahil sa sinabi niya.
"But I wasn't forced you to be married though. That's only my reason why I wanted to have a wife and kids."
Napatango kami nila kuya kaya tumawa sila Mommy.
"Okay okay, let's proceed to another topic." Sabi ni Mommy.
Nagsalita si Mommy pero hindi na duon ako nakatuon, kundi sa masakit banda sa tiyan ko. Bumaba ang tingin ko sa tiyan ko at humiga ng malalim ng makitang may dugo.
Wow, just wow!
Nagangat ako ng tingin sa kanila bago ngumiti.
"Mommy, I got shot." I calmly said.
Natigilan sila Mommy bago lumapit saakin bago pamandin nila ako mahawakan ay nandilim na ang paningin ko.
"Sniper." Ang huling Sinabi ko bago ako mawalan ng malay.
Hindi ko manlang naramdaman ang pagtama ng bala sa mismong tiyan ko naramdaman ko lang nang may nahawakan akong likido sa tiyan.
