Flashback: Meanwhile at convenience store around 4:00 pm when Y/n was buying School stuff.
At the convenience store:
Jimin: "Tae, remember when we used to load up on snacks for school?"
Taehyung: "Yeah, we'd sneak in cookies during lectures."
Jimin: (smiling) "Yeah, good times."
Taehyung: "Y/n loves snacks, but we should be careful not to get her anything too unhealthy."
Jimin: "Yeah, we're doctors now. We should try to avoid some unhealthy options."
Jungkook: "But I think it's okay to eat snacks; let's not restrict her in those terms."
Taehyung: "We are not restricting her; she can eat whatever she loves just in limits, as we all know she has a weak immune system, she gets sick very often."
Jimin: "Yeah, I totally agree with Tae, and she even has cavities."
Jungkook: "Hyung, come on, is there any kind of snack in this world that is healthy and tasty at the same time?"
Taehyung: "Relax Jungkook; we don't care if it's healthy or unhealthy. Anything is fine unless it has too much sugar and drinks which has soda."
Jimin: "And don't forget to check if it has peanuts in it; she has an allergy."
Taehyung: "We know Hyung, buy chocolate powder or other flavored powders. She always avoids milk unless we add some flavor to it."
Jimin: "And yeah, she never says no to yogurt; it's her all-time favorite."
Jungkook (smiling): "Don't forget the banana milk too. It's my favorite."
Taehyung (teasing Jungkook): "Ah, Jungkook, the banana milk addict! Remember when he used to run behind us if we drank his banana milk."
Jimin (playing along): "And do you remember when Jin Hyung once checked your backpack and found secret stashes of strawberry Juice and Jam."
Taehyung (laughing): "Alright, alright, you got me."
Jungkook (smiling): "Okay then let's buy some Ramen and cup noodles; she can't live without it."
Jimin (laughing): "And Choco chip cookies too, remember we have to load them for the cookie-bribery game!"
Taehyung (laughing): "Ohh yeah, I almost forgot about that."
Taehyung's phone chimes, and he gets a notification from Jin:
"We're going to Frozen Bottle Café. Meet us there and forward this message to Namjoon too."
Jungkook (curious): What happened? Is it from the hospital?
Jimin: Is it from Jin Hyung?
Taehyung: "Yeah, Jin Hyung. They went to Frozen Bottle Café. He asked us to meet there when we're done."
Jungkook: (excitedly) Oh, cool! I love that Cafe. Their coffee is the best.
Jimin: (smiling) Me too. And their croissants are amazing.
Taehyung: (nodding in agreement) "Yupp, they're delicious."
Jungkook: "So, should we hurry up, and I am hungry too."
Jimin: (checking the shopping cart) "We don't have much left, so we should be able to finish up in a few minutes."
Taehyung: (putting the last few items in the cart) "Okay, great. Let's go!"
They all head to the checkout line. As they're waiting to pay, Jimin turns to Jungkook.
Jimin: (curious) So, Jungkook, what are you going to eat?
Jungkook: (already had mouth-watering) I'm not sure. Maybe the Croissants. Or the strawberry cheesecake. Or the banana bread. Or...
Taehyung: (interrupting) Okay, okay, we get it. You love all of their food.
Jimin: (laughing) "Yeah, he's a big foodie."
Jungkook: (teasing) "Not more than Jin Hyung!"
Taehyung: (putting his arm around Jungkook) We know, Jungkook. We know.
They finally reach the checkout line and pay for their groceries.
Then they head out of the store and towards Frozen Bottle Cafe.
Meanwhile In clothes shop:
Namjoon: (shopping for clothes with Suga) "Hyung, shall we buy this for the princess?"
Suga: "Okay, she will be happy; she was asking Jin to buy her a black dress last time."
Namjoon: "Okay, let's buy this then."
Suga: "Sure, I am almost done with my shopping. What about you?"
Namjoon: "I still need some time; I was picking up a dress for the princess. I almost forgot that I came to buy clothes for myself too."
Suga: "Be Quick, till then I will go and try these."
Namjoon receives Taehyung's message:
Namjoon: "Jin Hyung wants us to meet at the Café after we are done; others are also going there."
Suga: "Okay, how much time will you take?"
Namjoon: "You go try your clothes, till then I will be done."
After a few minutes, Suga comes towards Namjoon.
Suga: "Namjoona, are you done?"
Namjoon: "Almost done, I am just searching for a nice shirt for my conference."
Suga: "I almost forgot about your conference. You are going to Japan, right?"
Namjoon: "Yes, I have to stay there for a few days. I will leave tomorrow morning."
Suga: "And when are you coming back?"
Namjoon: "I will be back in 3 days, but I am not sure there can be a delay for 1-2 days."
Suga: "Does everyone know about this?"
Namjoon: "No, not yet. I didn't get a chance to tell it to everyone; only you and Jimin know. But I will tell them in the cafe."
Suga: "Y/n and Jungkook will get upset after this news."
Namjoon: "Come on Hyung, I am going for 3 days, not for 3 years."
Suga: "I know, I know. But you know how they both are. They are used to having you around, and I'm sure they'll make a scene after listening to this news."
Namjoon: "Yeah, I get that. But they both are not kids anymore; they will understand the situation."
Flashback ends.
They both went to the café, and by then, Jungkook, Taehyung, and Jimin also arrived. They all went inside where Y/n, Jin, and J-Hope were sitting.
Jin: (shakes his head) "Princess, you're such a food snob."
Y/N: (sticks out her tongue) "No, I am not!"
Everyone chuckles.
Namjoon: "It seems like someone is not upset anymore."
You look towards Namjoon and run towards him to hug him. Namjoon picks you up and walks towards Jin and J-Hope's seats.
Namjoon: "Aigoo, be careful baby. If you fall, your injury will worsen."
Y/n: (pouting and in a low voice) "I know, you will never let me fall."
Namjoon: "I will, but baby when I am not around, then who will catch you?"
Y/n: (pouting) "I will be careful Oppa."
Namjoon kisses her cheeks.
Jungkook: "So, what is today's special here?"
Jimin: "We have just entered, and you have started talking about food already."
Jungkook: "I can't help it. Food is life, you know."
Taehyung: "Speaking of life, how's everyone's day been so far?"
Jin: (Sarcastic) "Well, I had the pleasure of witnessing J-Hope's love for croissants. Truly unparalleled."
Jungkook: (pinching your nose) "And how's our injured princess doing today?"
J-Hope: (teasing) "She's tough as always. But we need to keep an eye on her to make sure she doesn't pull any stunts."
Y/n: (pouting) "Oppa, I can handle myself!"
Jimin: (chuckle) "Alright, alright. Let's not turn this into a debate. What's the plan for today, guys?"
Namjoon: "How about we order some food first, and then we can figure out what to do? Any preferences?"
Jungkook: "I'm up for anything, as long as it's delicious."
Taehyung: "Agreed. Food first, decisions later."
They all laugh, and the waiter comes to take their orders. Then they start talking about what to do next after eating.
Y/n: (sparkling eyes) "I want to go to KidZania."
Jin: (soft) "Well, I think it's not a good idea; let your hand heal first than we can go to KidZania."
Y/n: (pout) "Why oppa? I really want to go."
Namjoon: (soft) "Princess, I understand you're excited about KidZania, but your hand needs time to heal properly. We wouldn't want to risk making it worse."
Suga: (calm) "He's right, Baby. Safety first, remember?"
Y/n: (with puppy eyes) "But, Oppa, I've been stuck at home for so long. KidZania would be so much fun, and I promise I'll be super careful!"
Jimin: (patting your head) "Agreed that you will be careful, but you can't enjoy there with one hand, right?"
Suga: "Running around there might not be the best for your hand, Baby. We want you to fully enjoy without any worries."
J-Hope: "How about we compromise? Maybe we can plan a trip to KidZania once you are fully recovered. In the meantime, we can find something else fun to do today."
Taehyung: "Shall we go to the game zone?"
Jungkook: "Yup, I will win a teddy for you from the claw machine."
Y/n: (sighs) "Okay, I guess you guys are right. But can we at least plan the KidZania trip for when I'm better? It's been ages we haven't gone there."
Jin: (patting your head) "Absolutely, Princess. We promise to make it up to you. And in the meantime, the game zone sounds like a great idea."
Namjoon: (smiles) "Jungkook, good luck winning that teddy bear."
Jungkook: (showing off his skills) "You bet! I've been practicing my skills just for this moment."
After they had finished eating and the conversations shifted to various topics, Namjoon took a deep breath and cleared his throat.
Namjoon: "Hey, everyone, there's something I need to tell you."
Everyone turned their attention to Namjoon, sensing the seriousness in his tone.
Namjoon: "I've been invited to a conference in Japan, and I have to leave tomorrow morning. I'll be away for 2-3 days, possibly a bit longer."
There was a moment of silence as the news sunk in. You, who had been excitedly planning future outings just moments ago, now wore a sad expression.
Y/n: "Japan? Tomorrow? But, Oppa, we had plans!"
Namjoon: "I know, Princess, and I'm really sorry. This is really important and I can't call it off. I didn't want to spoil the mood earlier."
Y/n: (pouting) "It's not fair."
Y/n's disappointment was evident, and Jungkook, who was sitting next to her, could sense her frustration.
Jungkook: (whining) "Hyung, why didn't you have told us earlier?"
Namjoon: (calm) "I just found out yesterday only Suga and Jimin knew about it, and I wanted to tell you all together at the breakfast table but didn't get a chance. I didn't want to ruin Y/n's day more."
Y/n: (sad) "But now you've ruined the next few days! Only a few days are left of my vacation after that you won't get much time to spend with me."
Namjoon: (holding your hands) "I promise we'll make up for it when I get back."
Y/n: (Teary eyes) "You always do this, Oppa. You never spend time with me on holidays. What will I do without you?"
Namjoon: (wiping your tears) "Baby, don't cry. I know, and I feel terrible about it. But it's only a few days, and I'll be back before you know it."
Jin: (calm) "Come on, baby, you know Namjoon wouldn't leave if it wasn't necessary. We'll make sure you have a great time while he's away, and he said he'll make it up to you when he's back."
Jimin: (soft) "Yeah, and we can still plan something special for when he returns. How about that?"
Taehyung: "Come on, princess, let's make the most of the time we have left with Namjoon Hyung before he leaves. We can still have a good time tonight."
You sigh, realizing the situation.
Y/n: (Pout) "Fine, but you better bring me something nice from Japan."
Namjoon: (while pinching her nose) "Of course I will."
J-hope: "Okay now let's not ruin the mood. Finish your food, and we will go to the game zone."
Everyone nodded in agreement. They enjoyed their time together at the café and went to the game zone.
