“Nu”
Zee voices out low, the silence in their car loud enough for Nu to hear.
Zee hadn’t spoken a single word since the moment he dashed out after his outburst last night.
And that confession, made Nu’s mind clouded with million thoughts, giving him a headache.
Just what did Zee mean?
when..how…and what does he mean when he said he had loved him for ten years now?
How..and why..why does he love him?
If he really loves him, why is he ignoring him?
Why is he even trying to end this, claiming himself unworthy of Nu ?
Nu ponders to his wits limits, the emotional exhaustion straining him enough to fall asleep.
By the time he woke up, Zee was already there, pulling out their luggage and checking them out and Nu had simply followed him without a word.
Zee was currently driving them back home from Airport, and the silence in the car almost killed him.
He has so much to ask, but he doesn’t know how to ask the alpha, and if he is ready to hear them.
He decides to wait, wait for Zee to talk on his own, and now, his wait finally gets over with Zee uttering his name.
He hums, His muscles tensed in anxiousness, eyes awkwardly fixed onto his window.
“Let’s get divorced.”
Time freezes, Nu’s breath hitches, and his heart drops. What..what did Zee just say?
He slowly looks at the alpha, his mouth agape with no words coming out, his eyes staring stunned at his husband.
Zee doesn’t even bother to look at him, his eyes fixed on the road, his jaw clenched as he pays no attention to his husband on the side.
“what..what do you…”
Nu whispers, the tightness in his throat not letting him speak out loud.
Zee doesn’t reply, his lips pressed in a thin line, and then suddenly his eyes widen as he twists the steering wheel abruptly to the right, coming to a sudden halt in the middle of the road.
Nu bumps his head to the dashboard, making a red spot on his forehead as he looks at Zee questioningly with his eyebrows furrowed, but the thing he sees isn’t just the alpha sitting by his side.
It was the raging truck that crashes into the driver’s seat, the glass shattering as the broken pieces splattered across the dented car.
The truck continues to drag them down the road, only stopping once the force fades away.
Nu blinks, his eyes blurry and mind hazy as he looks to his left only to see the most horrifying scene of his life.
There was Zee, his body covered in blood, his face buried into the blown-up airbag, a thick trail of blood running down his forehead with his eyes closed in unconsciousness.

Nu’s eyes well up with tears as he slowly tries to bring up his hand close to Zee, uttering a small whisper of the alpha’s name but even before his hand can touch his husband, Nu’s eyes close, his hand falling lifelessly, as he slowly slips into deeper parts of darkness.

Soo..that's how Zee fell for Nu I guess? I felt like this flashback was pretty lame but I just couldn't come up with a better one!
