Year 1- You were being sorted into your houses and Tom's name was called before yours. You watched him as he went up to the front and was sorted into slytherin before the sorting hat even had the chance to sit on his head. Soon it was your turn to be sorted into your house and you were sorted into slytherin. As you went to sit down you noticed no one would sit next to Tom and you decided to sit next to him and introduce yourself.
"Hello, I'm Y/n, Y/n L/n"
He stared at you for a moment before replying to you.
"Tom, Tom Riddle" as he smiled weakly at you and looked away.
