the video:
"ladies and gentlemen, everybody always thinks the sidemen are dumb, but today me myself, tobi, ethan and taytum are gonna prove that we are." simon introduces making us all laugh.
"and for those who don't know taytum." tobi then says. "she is my girlfriend." he says looking at me with a soft look on his face. i softly wave at the camera. "hi guys!"
"we get it your inlove!" ethan shouts down in mic. i roll my eyes.
"anyways this is a common sense test that 90% of people will get wrong." simon chuckles.
"i would like- i would like to think -" ethan starts but stops with tobis laugh.
"i thoight you were gonna stop with i like to think." he chuckles making me chuckle along with him.
"no but i'd like to think that academically i might be quite poor but I could navigate the world with my common sense." ethan says.
"what?" i start. "i'm the opposite, i'm shocking when it comes to common sense but academically i'm fine." i disagree with ethan.
"well let's find out, should we work together?" simon asks.
"ehhhh yeah sure." tobi says.
they then start the video.
90 percent of people fail this common sense test. according to research 90% of adults to get these questions wrong because they over complicate things.
"oh this isn't boarding well for me already lads."

someone pauses the video.
"okay we have 10 seconds to find a word that describes someone who doesn't have all their fingers on one hand." simon says, he must've paused the video.
"disabled?" i say without thinking. i mean like that sounds right to me.
tobi laughs. "what? taytum seriously."
"what? i'm being serious, a word to describe someone who doesn't have all their fingers on one hand, disabled." i say with a confused face.
"no i agree with taytum on this one." ethan says.
"guys it's normal." tobi disagrees.
"well if we are gonna go politically correct well then yes." simon says.
"no but you have all your fingers across both hands no?" tobi questions. at this point i don't understand what he's saying. "they're not all on one hand they're on two hands." he continues.
i shake my head. "no tobi, your over complicating it." i roll my eyes. tobi turns to me and points, poking me. "your over complicating it."
"no but if your missing a finger." simon says not taking in me and tobis bickering.
"no but if your missing a finger i'd call you handicapped." ethan says, making me burst out in laughter.
"i'm happy to go with tobis answer." simon says. i cross my arms. "i'm not, i'm sticking with my own." i argue.
it then turns out that tobi was right.
he cheers and laughs at my face. "over complicating it, yeah tay. i think you were the one to over complicate it."
i roll my eyes. "it sounded right in my head."
if a plane crashes right on the border between Canada and the united states. where should you bury the survivors?
"where it crashed?" i mumble only tobi being able to hear me. tobi bursts out laughing making the other two boys confused.
"what?" simon says. "nothing nothing, leda see what ethan says and i'll tell you, i think i know this one." tobi replies.
"well you bury them." ethan says, the two boys laugh.
"well he's not wrong." i shrug.
"the question is where." tobi chimes in.
"you bury them where they crashed." i say louder this time.
"oh my god." simon giggles. "baby, you bury them where the parents want them to be buried not where they crashed."
"guys it's survivors."
"oh shit." tobi realises. "it says survivors." he laughs to himself into my shoulder, wrapping his arms around me. i giggle at his clingyness.
"no well technically i'm still right." tobi starts, "they'll die eventually."
"and technically i'm right because you still bury them." ethan also says.
"me too." i giggle.
they all make questionable noises. tobi looks at me and shakes his head. "i don't think so tay, you don't bury them where they crash."
i groan. "well some might."
tobi laughs. "i don't think so."
your in a dark cave with three things, a lantern, a news paper and a stick. you only have one match. you have to make a tough choice. what will you light first?
"come on taytum and ethan you guys no this one." simon encourages.
"say your answer in 3 2 1."
"the match." we both say at the same time. both the boys cheer.
i smile brightly while ethan is celebrating. "let's go, let's fucking go!"
we then had an easy enough question about the video asking what colour were the stairs in a women's bungalow but me and ethan weren't that stupid and said there are no stairs in a bungalow.
there was also another one asking how a man's head didn't get wet. well i said umbrella, not really listening as the question said he that he didn't have an umbrella, causing the boys to laugh at me. turns out he was bald.
"it's okay tay." tobi grabs my face. "just listen to the question next time." he shrugs. he finds himself so funny doesnt. i say to myself sarcastically. still can't help the smile that's on my face from his cuteness.
what do you sleep on, sit on, and brush your teeth with?
"i give up already." i stick my hands up in surrender.
"uh uh what do you sleep on, sit on and brush your teeth with." ethan says repeating the question, sounding unsure.
"oh this one's tickling my brain you know."
"i say, a bed, a chair and a toothbrush." i say, knowing it isn't right but not really caring cause i have no clue.
"seriously taytum." simon says deadpanned. tobi laughs.
while i'm waiting for the boys to decide on an answer, i play with tobis braclet around his wrist. i find myself doing this when i'm bored, nervous or just wanting him to be close.
tobi notices this and ours and arm around my waist pulling me closer while i'm still playing with his bracelet.
"okay i say we just let it tell us."
the boys agree and play the video again.
a chair a bed and a toothbrush.
i jump out of tobis arms. "oh my god!!!" i cheer. "i said that and yous all made fun of me." i say. tobi laughs and looks shocked that ur was actually right and i hear ethan and simon down the mic saying that they can't believe it. they are all sitting pissing themselves.
"i want an apology from each and every one of yous."
tobi pulls me back into his arms and lightly kisses me. "i'm sorry baby." i smile at him. "apology accepted tobes."
ethan makes vomiting sounds.
"i'm waiting." i tease.
"sorry tay." they both say in sync.
i still can't believe i got that right.
