I looked at my father wide eyed as he walked up to us and looked at me furiously..
"You shameless girl, how dare you run away and get married?" He yelled angrily and I flinched
"Don't shout at her..she got married in my presence..." Maa said stepping forward and Papa gave her a despised look
"Oh so, you have finally gotten a mouth to speak against your husband?" He asked stepping forward towards her and I saw fear flicking through my Maa's eyes
"We will have a talk at home.." Papa said and Maa looked at him with hate
"Why? Why at home? So you can harass and abuse me and still be the best husband in front of the world?" She asked him as tears filled her eyes
"Shut up Sujata..." He yelled and both my elder brothers came rushing towards Maa and stood infront of her while glaring at papa
Papa gave them an angry glare and looked at me..
"Are you happy now? After breaking our family? After making me the bad person in front of everyone? Since your birth I gave you everything, there wasn't a single you didn't have, and still you brought shame on me..I let you study as much as you wanted, I didn't send you to our village with Maa and let you do whatever you wished for and this is how you payed me back?" He asked gritting his teeth and I looked up at him with tear filled eyes
"All you ever did was for your own self Papa, you brought me dresses, toys and everything because of you wouldn't then your friends and the society will question you..you let me study and didn't send me to the village because you were scared that what will you give the reason to others if they questioned why I wasn't studying..all you ever did for your own self..." I said as tears slid down my eyes and he glared at me angrily
"I don't blame you papa, your family is toxic, they acted like your owner told you what to do and what not to and then you grew up and did the same with your children..you believed your witch like sister over your own daughter and you were ready to marry me off to a man who was just as toxic..you really wanted me to live a life like Maa or even worst...I have always respected you Papa, always felt that one day you will change, always waited for the day you will actually regard me as your daughter and not just some responsibility, but no you can never change..Never.." I yelled at him sobbing and my father raised his hand to slap me
I closed my eyes to feel the impact of the slap but that never came I opened my eyes only to see Anirudh sir standing infront of me holding Papa's raised hand..
"Now, now..Father-in-law don't forget that Bondita is not just your daughter anymore but also my wife now, and I would be damned if I would let anyone even touch a single hair of her..." Anirudh sir said calmly
"As a father your hands should only raise to give blessings and not otherwise.." and with that he kept Papa's raised hand on his head
Papa pulled away his hand as if it burnt and looked at Anirudh Sir while Anirudh sir just casually shoved his hands in his pants pocket and stared down at my Papa innocently..
"You impudent brat, What did you do to get my daughter and my wife in your trap? What sweet words did you feed them?" Papa asked gritting his teeths
"Maybe, they just saw the real you and decided to stand for their own selves.." Anirudh sir said shrugging arrogantly
"Don't you have a shame, you trapped a young girl, your student into marrying you? I will file a case against you, just wait and watch.." Papa said and I looked at him horrified
"Go ahead then, go and file a case against me, go and tell them whatever story you want to..but Father-in-law think once about your so called societal reputation..what would people whisper to eachother if they got to know about this all..think about the shame you will have to face.." Anirudh sir said smiling and Dadi came forward and held Papa's hand
"Don't be a fool Shivnath, we can't have people knowing about your daughter's scandal.. let it be..." Dadi said slowly
"That's what I thought..now we will be taking your leave..." Anirudh sir said and held my hand
"Bondita, you have brought a lot of shame in your father's life and you will regret this, you will never lead a happy life, you will never be happy with this man, you think you will become independent and all, huh? But you will never, just like other man's he will also lock you up in his house because that's where women's life belong.." My Papa said and it felt like a curse to me my body trembled as his words repeated on my head and my hands went cold
I felt a squeeze on my hand and I looked at Anirudh sir who was looking at me worriedly and was stroking my knuckles soothingly with his thumb, I gulped and looked at Papa and bend down touching his feet
"I don't know about future Papa, but right now I don't regret my decision..." I mumbled slowly and stood up
I again held Anirudh Sir's hand and he smiled at me softly and we together took first Maa's blessings who tearfully hugged me and blessed me with a happy married life and then we touched his mother's feet who told me that I was her Lakshmi and shouldn't be touching her feet..
Dhani hugged me happily and my brothers as well blessed me with happy life and hugged Anirudh sir beaming..at last I moved to the corner where Vansh was standing till now, downing his face..
"Why are you crying?" I asked Vansh softly
"Don't give yourself to much credit, I am not crying for you, I am just sad that who will cook for me at midnight if I will feel hungry..." He said and I chuckled as he hugged me tightly
"Take care of yourself Bondita, I will miss the food..." He said pulling away from me and giving me a teasing smile
"And me?" I asked frowning and he made a thoughtful face I slapped his arm and we both giggled
I turned around and my now my father, his mother and sister has already left..and Anirudh was waiting for me at the stairs of the temple..
My mother took me towards him and kept my hand in his..
"Please son take care of her..." Maa once again said and Anirudh sir held my hand tightly
"I promise Maa, I will take care of her and will do my best to provide her everything of this world.." he said firmly and Maa patted his head and then holding my hand tightly we stepped down
We stood infront of his bike and he helped me sit behind him, his mother and Dhani left in a cab and he started his bike..I looked at my family standing at the entrance of the temple and waving their hands, I waved back and he drove away while I held his waist and I started a new life with him..
Unknown of the innumerable butterflies, lovely moments, beautiful confessions, jealousy and the upcoming struggles of our life...

Wrote this one in hurry and unplanned so there might be mistakes..
This chapter's a bit boring will try to write the next one better..
Anirudh acts kind and understanding and innocent and all doesn't means that he is actually the same, like we saw a bit of sassy, savage and dominating side of Anirudh in front of Bondita's father just like that we are going to see a lot of different shades of Anirudh in upcoming chapters as well...
