"Ralts dodge and use Confusion" ordered Ash
Ralts Dodged just slightly and began to attack the Orthworm mentally
"Tyranitar use-" Gary was cut off
"Tauros use Close Combat on the Tyranitar!" yelled the girl as the Tauros rammed right into the Tyranitar, knocking it out immediately due to it's massive weakness
"Damn, alright then, go Hatterene!" Yelled Gary as he released the Silent Pokemon
"Now use Psycho Cut!" Yelled Gary as Hatterene begin slashing at Tauros, it dodging effortlessly
"Nice try, Tauros use Iron Head!" Commanded the girl as the bull began to rush at them once again
"Hatterene Dazzling Gleam!" yelled Gary
"Hatte!" Said Hatterene as both Tauros and Orthworm got damaged, the Tauros more heavily damaged and missing it's attack
"Now Ralts use Confusion on the Tauros!" Yelled Ash as the Bull began getting attacked mentally, slowly being worn down"
"Orthworm, Iron Tail!" Ordered the girl
"Hatterene use yourself as a shield for Ralts!" ordered Gary
"Slither Around it!" Yelled the girl as the Earthworm Pokemon effortlessly ignored the Hatterene, hitting the Ralts dead centre
"Ralt-!" Cried Ralts as it hit the wall behind it, hanging on by a thread
"Damn, alright, Ralts, return" said Ash as he pulled out another Pokemon
"Shelgon!" Ordered Ash as the now half evolved Pokemon appeared
"Now Shelgon, Dragon Claw on that Orthworm!" yelled Ash
"Shel-Gon!" yelled the Shelgon as it began to pelt the Earthworm Pokemon with massive swipes
"Tauros, Get that Shelgon off Orthworm with Raging Bull!" yelled the girl
The Tauros began to charge at the Shelgon, ready to break down it's defences
"Hatterene, Psycho cut!" commanded Gary
Hatterene began to pick up the bull and throw it to the other side of the room, it fainting from the super-effective attack
"Good job Tauros, take a well deserved rest, Rabsca, take 'em out the Hatterene with Bug Buzz!" said the girl
"Sca!" Said the Beetle Pokemon as it began pelting Hatterene with, lowering it's special defence
"Orthworm, try to shake off that Shelgon!" Ordered the girl
The Orthworm shook around violently, eventually freeing itself from Shelgon
"Hatterene use Dazzling Gleam again!" Ordered Gary
Hatterene fired off more of the fairy type attack, Orthworm not looking very good
"Orthworm, use Iron Tail on the Shelgon!" ordered the girl
"Shelgon dodge it!" Ordered Ash slightly too late as Orthworm hit directly on the shell
"Damn" said Ash
"Now Orthworm! Iron Tail on the Hatterene!" Commanded the girl
"Quickly! Use Reflect!" ordered Gary
Hatterene managed to get the reflect up in time, but it was still not enough to prevent it from being knocked out
"Esta es tu última advertencia para irte! This is your final warning, leave!" ordered the girl
"Not our style to start something then run" said Ash
"You know, if you two weren't thieves, I'd actually be enjoying this battle" said the girl
"Yep, your kind of girl Static" said Gary with a grin behind his mask
Ash remained quiet, he just wanted to be done
"What is that supposed to mean? Anyways, Orthworm, Iron Tail!" Ordered the girl
Orthworm would hit the Shelgon once more, dealing less damage due to the reflect left by Hatterene
"Alright, Electivire!" commanded Gary taking out the electric Pokemon
"Now we're talking, that Pokemon isn't native to this region" said the girl
"Electivire return the favour with your own Iron Tail!" ordered Gary
"Orthworm dodge it!" Ordered the girl as Orthworm dodged to the side dodging the large Pokemon
Electivire hit the wall, damaging the building quite a lot
"Damn it, there goes my plan of not damaging the building, well in that case, Orthworm use Earthquake!" ordered the girl...
At Camp...
The three original members of Team Rocket were asleep, James very much not getting up anytime soon, Jessie tossing and turning, Except for Meowth, he tried but ultimately couldn't sleep, so, he instead sat by the fireplace waiting for Ash and Gary's return
'What in the distortion was that dream?...' thought Meowth as he looked back on Ash's nightmare
Meowth began to think back to the staircase, the long upwards facing glass staircase...
'None of this makes any sense, I mean it's just... How can I even see what's on his mind?' thought Meowth
'All their faces were blurred, the thought of those two burning... I-'
Rumble Rumble Rumble
"What the?" Said Meowth as he felt what he felt to be an earthquake in the distance
"That could only mean one thing" said Meowth as he ran to the two other members inside the tent trying to wake them up, to no avail"
"Dammit, guess I'll just need to go alone" said Meowth as he began to run as fast as he could towards the earthquake...
Both Shelgon and Electivire were hit by the move, Rabsca anticipating the move with it's Telepathy ability and dodging it
"That's it. Shelgon use Dragon Claw on the Orthworm!" Ordered Ash
"You too Electivire, use Thunderbolt!" Commanded Gary
Both attacks hit the Orthworm head on, finally breaking and fainting it
"Dammit, I only have Rabsca left, I didn't expect a break in..." Cursed the girl
Further damage to the building can be mitigated if you just let us take what we want and leave" said Gary
"No, way, my pride as a champion wouldn't allow it" said he girl
"Champion?" Asked Gary
"I can't tell if that was genuine curiosity or if your mocking me due to the close match we're having" said the girl
"I thought Geeta was the champion" said Ash
"She is, you must not be from around here, in Paldea, champion isn't a singular title given to one person, it's a class of trainer given to those who earn it by defeating La Primera in battle" said the girl
"That just sounds like giving a participation trophy" said Gary
"Maybe, but La Primera is the TOP Champion, which might be more in line with other regions versions of a Champion" said the girl
"You know, since you're a 'Champion', you should have quite the reputation, perhaps if we knew your name it could shake our memories" said Ash
"I see no harm in it, the names Nemona, I'd say nice to meet you but it's not" said Nemona
"Doesn't ring a bell" said Ash
"Actually I think I remember seeing that name in a research article a couple years back, she was in the World Coronation Series, apparently she dominated the Ultra Class before eventually having to leave unannounced" said Gary
"I am still very annoyed at that" said Nemona
"Anyways, enough babbling, we have the advantage, you said only have 1 Pokemon left, you don't stand a chance, maybe if you had a full team but you said yourself that you don't" Smirked Ash behind his mask, enjoying the battle
"Electivire use Thunderbolt on that Rabsca! Ordered Gary
"Quickly Rabsca! Dodge and use Revival Blessing!" Ordered Nemona
Rabsca perfectly dodged the Thunderbolt and cast an unknown move to the both of them
"Use Dragon Claw!" Ordered Ash to Shelgon
"Rabsca, jump in the air!" Warned Nemona
Rabsca jumped to avoid Shelton's attacks
Gary smiled
"Thunderbolt!" Said Gary as the attack connected dead on
"Rabsca, please hold on!" Pleaded Nemona
Rabsca held on like a champion
"Now Orthworm come back out and use Earthquake!" Commanded Nemona
"What?!?" Reacted Gary and Ash as they saw the now revived Earthworm Pokemon back in the fight and about to hit both of their Pokemon with a massive supper effective move
"Worm!" Yelled Orthworm as it began to crack the ground once more, this time causing both Pokemon to faint
"But we defeated that thing!?!" Said Ash
"The move Revival Blessing allows me to revive a Pokemon and use it in battle once more" explained Nemona
Ash grunted in annoyance, he certainly didn't like this Pokemon one but
"Ralts!" Called out Ash as he pulled out the second one
"Two Ralts? I assume your going for a Gallade aswell then?" Asked Nemona
"Doesn't matter" said Ash
"Arcanine!" Called out Gary
"Rabsca use Psychic! Hold that Arcanine down to the ground! Orthworm, use Earthquake again!" Ordered Nemona
"Ralts! Stop the Rabsca with Confusion!" Ordered Ash as Ralts began to target the weird ball bug Pokemon, stopping it from casting Psychic, allowing Arcanine to grab Ralts and and jump away from the Earthquake
"Arcanine, Flame Charge on the Rabsca!" Ordered Gary
"Arcanine!" Roared the 'Legendary' Pokemon as it knocked out Rabsca, whilst also raising it's speed
"Orthworm use Dig!" Commanded Nemona as she knew Earthquake wasn't the play here
"Keep your eyes peeled Arcanine!" Warned Gary
"A bit too late for that" said Nemona as Orthworm immediately sprung from the ground, getting Arcanine upwards with the super effective attack
"Now use Iron Tail on the Ralts!" Ordered Nemona as the Worm smacked it's body down upon the small Pokemon
"Now use Earthquake!" Yelled Nemona as the Worm pulled off what could only be described as a fighting game combo on the pair of Pokemon, knocking them both out
"That has by far been the most annoying Pokemon I've dealt with" said Gary
"Glad to know I'm training it right" grinned Nemona
"Unfortunately for you, it's looking very tired, it would seem reviving it doesn't mean it's back to 100%" stated Gary
"Unfortunately so" said Nemona
"Golbat!" Ordered Ash as he pulled out the large mouthed bat
"Blastoise!" Ordered Gary
Nemona couldn't help but smile, more Pokemon that weren't native to Paldean
"Orthworm use Earthqu-"
"That's enough Earthquakes you spammer" said what appeared to be a talking Meowth appearing just in front of Orthworm with what seemed to be glowing claws
"Fury Swipes!" Yelled Meowth as he clawed the poor Worm back to fainting
"What!?!" yelled Nemona in worry and curiosity, she was finally defeated, she retracted Orthworm to its ball...
"Code, Now" ordered Gary
"First, before that, is that Meowth talking?" Asked Nemona trying to stall for time
"Yeah, I can talk, now no more stalling, that stratagy is also annoying" said Meowth
"Enough with the Meta jokes, give us the code like you promised" ordered Ash
"Or what?" Said Nemona
"You realize that we steal Pokemon right? We only came here for whatever is in here, if you don't co-operate, well let's just say that Orthworm would be worth a lot" warned Ash
"Pedazo de mierda..." silently scoffed Nemona thinking back on when she was tasked with protecting the Pokemon she was given as they were meant to be given to the new student that was arriving soon...
(Flashback start)
"Now Nemona, this is likely not to happen, but if it ever happens that someone defeats you whilst protecting them, don't let them take your Pokemon, as much as it would pain me to see them taken away, I'd much rather it be JUST them, they all recently just had eggs so if they get taken we can just give the new student these ones" said Director Clavell
"That sounds kinda harsh..." Said Nemona
"Don't take it as if I was saying I don't care about them, but it's just the smarter decision, besides, who could defeat you?" Said Clavell
(Flashback end)
"Dammit... The code is 18922..." Said Nemona as Ash put in the code
As expected, the safe unlocks revealing 3 Pokeballs
"Three? I certainly thought there was going to be more then that" said Meowth
"Unlike you lot, people don't need to rely on a numbers advantage" spat Nemona
"These will be put to good use, don't worry, we'll treat them right" said Ash trying to soften the blow
"You'll never get away with this, the moment they find out the Pokemon have been taken they will find you" warned Nemona
"Well in that case" said Ash as he called Golbat over
"Hypnosis" commanded Ash
Gary started to look through Nemona's Pockets looking for her Rotom-phone, making sure she doesn't have any pictures of them
"Good, she has no trace of us" said Gary
"Then let's go" said Ash
"Wait" said Meowth
"What is it?" Asked Ash
"Two things, first, we should probably have a look at those three pokemon before leaving, just to make sure it was worth all this, second, when we get back, I want to talk to you in particular about something..." said Meowth
Ash was intrigued, he looked at the three balls before opening them to reveal their contents
"Sprig?"
"Coco!"
"Quax"
"Can't say I've ever seen these Pokemon before" said Ash
"I really need to study on Paldean Species" said Gary
Ash pulled out his Rotom-phone
"Sprigatito, the Grass Cat Pokemon, Its fluffy fur is similar in composition to plants. This Pokémon frequently washes its face to keep it from drying out, it also releases a sweet scent that mesmerizes those around it. The scent grows stronger when this Pokémon is in the sun.
"Fuecoco, the Fire Croc Pokemon, it lies on warm rocks and uses the heat absorbed by its square-shaped scales to create fire energy, Its flame sac is small, so energy is always leaking out. This energy is released from the dent atop Fuecoco's head and flickers to and fro."
"Quaxly, the Duckling Pokemon, This Pokémon migrated to Paldea from distant lands long ago. The gel secreted by its feathers repels water and grime, Its strong legs let it easily swim around in even fast-flowing rivers. It likes to keep things tidy and is prone to overthinking things."
"That one doesn't originate from Paldean? That's something" said Gary
"The fire one... It looks like it doesn't have any thoughts behind it's eyes..." Said Meowth
"The cat, I have a feeling Jess will be jealous of it" said Ash as he returned all three to their balls
"Let's go, before she wakes up, I want to get some sleep in" said Ash
"Alright, Let's go" said Gary...
It wouldn't take them long, eventually they reached camp again, James still snoring soundly, Jessie was awake and worried, all worries coming to a rest as soon as she saw the three return
"Meowth! Why didn't you wake me up!" Yelled Jessie
"I tried, you didn't wake up!" Retorted Meowth
"Well, either way, we got them" said Ash revealing the three Pokeballs
"Ooooh, what's in them?" Asked Jessie
"You'll see when everyone is awake" said Ash, disgruntling Jessie
"Well, if it's gonna be that way then I'll play along, I expect you both to be awake at seven in the morning, now that we have access to the City thanks to the old man" said Jessie
"Got it" said Gary as he looked over towards Ash
"I'm gonna get some sleep, you do whatever it is you have to do and get some rest" said Gary
Ash nodded in response and began to send through the necessary data of his new 3 Pokemon to HQ
Meowth used this opportunity to ask his question
"So... I wanted to talk to you about this thing that's been on my mind lately" said Meowth
"What is it?" Asked Ash
"It's... About back then..." Said Meowth
"This would also probably be a good time to say... Sorry about Pikachu... Sorry about everything" said Meowth
"It's not your fault, no need to apologise for that" said Ash
"I also meant before all this, you know, trying to take Pikachu and all" said Meowth
"You were just doing your job, same as we're doing right now, I understand why you did what you did" said Ash
"Still... Just want to put it out there... We truly are sorry, for our history, for Pikachu, for your family..." Said Meowth looking up at Ash, seeing fragments of his emotions
"Thanks Meowth..." Said Ash before walking to the tent so he could get some rest
"By the way... You three aren't that bad either..." Said Ash as he closed the door
Meowth sighed, the heavy feeling of awkwardness off his chest, still, the fact he can sense ash's emotions and see his memories and dreams, that still has yet to be solved...
"Oh well, I'll deal with it some other time" said Meowth slightly grinning...
The next day...
"So, you still haven't shown me those new Pokemon you got last night" said Jessie preparing to start walking yet again
"Meowth told me what happened, I knew you'd need our help" said James
"We didn't need any help, Meowth came along in time to knock that Orthworm out, we still had half our Pokemon left, we would've done it either way" said Gary trying to protect his pride
"Well, you asked me in the nic of time, I'm about to send them to HQ under my name" said Ash
"You know, at some point your going to need to actually steal some Pokemon for Sale right? You can't just keep them all" said Jessie
"I'd rather die" said Ash sternly
"That's a bit far..." Said Gary
"If you want to do that, put it under your name, but I'm not stooping so low, it's bad enough I'm stealing them in the first place" said Ash
"I'm not saying that, I'm just saying-" Gary was cut off
"Doesn't matter, anyways, here" said Ash as he released the three new Pokemon
James eyes wandered in excitement, specifically at Quaxly
Jessie was practically in love with Sprigatito
Meowth didn't really care much, but Fuecoco took an odd likeness to him and offered a burnt berry
"Where did you even get that from?" Asked Meowth
Ash then returned them to their pokeballs
"Don't worry you three, I'll need you in time" said Ash as he teleported the three Pokeballs to HQ
"Let's go" said Gary
"Right" said the group...
Sometime later, somewhere else...
*Grunting*
"It's been years, where could they be hiding" said a gruffy voice
He heard a door open to his side
"Sir, I did some research into a few team rocket sightings, apparently a group was seen in Hoenn a while ago, a household apparently got robbed of 2 Ralts according to the local news outlet" said a female
"I heard the same, poor boy" said a male
"Solara, Lunick, any leads left from there? Asked the man
"Nothing but descriptions of the members, which I'm afraid isn't going to help us find the base" said Solara
"That will still help, continue" said the man
"There are four of them, technically five if you include the apparent talking Meowth" said Lunick
"A tall slim woman with bright wine red hair, a slightly smaller man with blue hair, and two smaller figures with masks" said Solara
The man got angry, he was told stories of the three unmasked individuals...
"Any other reports from Hoenn?" Asked the man
"Negative" said Lunick
"It's safe to assume they have left" said Solara
"Then we can cross off Hoenn as their main HQ" said the man
"Please, I know you have a vendetta against these people, but it would be in your best interest if you took a small break, Ghota" said Solara
"You may be right... But still, if there is any chance... Then they must pay" said Ghota
I'll continue to monitor, any news will be written and reported the moment I see it" said Lunick
"You two are miracle workers" said Ghota
"Finding information is hardly the most impressive thing on our resume" said Lunick
"Yes, Fiore Temple wasnt exactly easy to put on there" said Solara

The group had finally reached the gates of Mezagoza once more
"Halt, no visitors with Team Star abou- wait, I remember you guys" said the guard
"Yep, we're back" said Gary
"I was told to let you guys in, straight from the director of the Acadamy" said the Guard
"We're grateful" said Jessie
"Anyways, if you wish to find the director he'll be the main office at the Acadamy, there are plenty of food stalls, cosmetic stores and if you look around you can even find the gates to the Pokemon League" said the guard
"Pokemon League huh?" Asked Ash
"Yep, that's where one obtains the rank of Champion, the Top Champion Geeta resides there, although she hasn't left in some time, we've been assured by Hassel that everything is fine but I don't believe it one bit" said the guard
"Thanks, we'll be on our way then" said James wanting food
"What about your entourage of two?" Asked the guard
"Entourage?" Asked Ash as he looked behind him, noticing two little flames hiding behind a rock
"Wait" said Ash as he smiled a bit
The two flames then peeked from behind the rock, revealing themselves
"Charcadet?" Said the source
"You two keeping each other safe? Asked Ash
"Who are they?" Asked Gary
"Oh right, y'all wouldn't know, when we were in the canyon, after you all decided to sleep, I stayed awake a while longer, during that time a bush nearby was making noise and it was this charcadet, it's friend here was being picked on by what I suspect was Team Star, so I saved it" said Ash
Gary smiled
"Hang on, you saved them in the canyon, have they been following us ever since?" Asked James
Ash looked at them as they acted nervous
"It would seem like it" said Ash
"And you haven't caught them?" Asked Meowth
"Not everything wants to be caught" said Ash
Both Charcadet looked at Ash with thoughtful eyes, it was true that they were following them, they knew that if they ever wanted to be caught, it would be by him, but that was even if they wanted to be caught in the first place
"Well, if you want to continue following, then there's no need to hide, come" said Ash
Gary was glad, this was one of the only times Ash felt like his old self, both of them have grown, but Ash in particular was scaring Gary, not in the traditional way, but Ash felt... Different most times... Off would be the word he'd use
"Open the gate!" Said the guard
As the doors opened, they walked inside to see the bustling streets of Mezagoza, filled by the large staircase in the middle of the city leading to the Acadamy
"So this is the place where we can get this so called 'Tera Orb'" said James
The group stared down the massive school building
"It better be" said Ash
(Yelling)
"Is that the sound of a battle?" Asked Meowth
The group didn't even have a second thought before investigating the noise
"Come on, your weak, we at Team Star can help" said some scrawny runt with his... Pig?
Ash took his Pokedex out
"Oinkologne, the Hog Pokemon, Oinkologne is proud of its fine, glossy skin. It emits a concentrated scent from the tip of its tail, It entrances female Pokémon with the sweet, alluring scent that wafts from all over its body" said the Pokedex
"Doesn't look like much" said Ash
"Hey you all!" Said a few voices coming from behind them
"You don't look like your from the Acadamy, perhaps you'd like to join Team Star instead" said the group
"Yeah, no, we don't care for your little group" said James
"Perhaps we can show you our strength" said the leader as the 5 of them released their Pokemon
"We don't have time for this, leave" said Ash
"Wait... We remember you" said three of the grunts in slight fear
Ash took a while to remember their faces, it was the three who were picking on Charcadet
The Charcadet hid behind Ash who immediately
"I've beaten you once, now scram" repeated Ash
"Nuh uh" said the grunts
"What do you mean Nuh uh?!?" Said Jessie
"Static, Smoke, leave this to us" said James wanting to battle for once
"That's fine, give them a nice taste of defeat for us" said Gary as the two made their way towards the entrance
Ash motioned the two Charcadet to follow

"Tinkatuff"
"Gothorita"
"Gabite"
The grunts readied their Pokemon
"You know, despite knowing how easy this will be, I always imagine the old us losing" said James
"Well, after years of training with those two, I'd be surprised if we lost to most, let alone this lot" said Jessie
"Frillish"
"Yamask"
"What in Arceus are those Pokemon" said some of the grunts
"Frillish, use Toxic on hattrem" ordered Jessie
"Yamask, Will-o-wisp on Tinkatuff" ordered James
"Meowth used Fury Swipes on Gabite!" Ordered Meowth to himself
Both Toxix and Will-O-Wisp hot their targets
"Gabite use Rock Tomb on that Meowth" said the leader
The Gabite fired off the Rock Tomb
"Meowth, dodge it!" Said Meowth to himself as he effortlessly dodged the rock tomb, scoring a few scratches on the Gabite
"Gothorita use Psybeam on that Meowth to get it off Gabite!" Ordered a grunt
"Morgrem use Reflect!" Ordered the other grunt
Psybeam missed Meowth but did successfully get him off Gabite
Both Jessie and James laughed
"Unfortunately Reflect isn't going to help you here" said Jessie looking at James
"Yamask use Hex on the Tinkatuff" Ordered James
Tinkatuff fainted from the overwhelming force of the boosted Hex
"Dammit, they're using special, Morgrem use-" the grunt was cut off
"Frillish use Scald on the Morgrem" said Jessie
Morgrem was too busy waiting for orders that hit was hit dead center by the Scald, leaving it with the slightest amount of vitality left
"Dammit, Quick Morgrem use Light Scr-" the grunt was cut off once again
"Meowth used Aerial Ace on the Morgrem!" Ordered Meowth to himself
"Grem!" Yelled Morgrem as it fainted
"Meowth, when did you learn that?" Asked Jessie
"I've been practicing" said Meowth
"Hattrem use Psycut on the Frillish!" Ordered a grunt
The attack hit dead on
"Oh no, what will I ever do" exaggerated Jessie
"Good Job Hattrem" said the grunts
"Frillish use Recover" said Jessie
"Dammit, use Psycut again!" Said the grunts
The Hattrem attempted to use the move again but couldn't
"What's wrong Hattrem?!?" Asked the grunt
"That moves disabled" said Jessie
"What?" Asked the grunt
"My Frillish's ability is called Cursed Body, whenever it gets hit by a move, that move just might get disabled for a bit" said Jessie snarkingly
"Yamask use Hex again on Hattrem!" Said James catching the grunt off guard
"No! Gothorita use Dark Pulse on the Yamask!" Ordered the other grunt
"Frillish, Counter with Scald!" Ordered Jessie
"Frill!" Yelled Frillish as it fired off the powerful move, completely destroying the dark pulse and hitting the Gothorita, knocking it out
"Hattrem!" Yelled the grunt as the Hex knocked out the last grunt
"G-Gabite use Earthquake!" Ordered the grunt in desperation
"Frillish, pick Meowth and float up!" Ordered Jessie

Earthquake missed all of them, causing no damage whatsoever
"Scald" ordered Jessie
"Shadow Ball" commanded James
"Fury Swipes!" Yelled Meowth
"No!" Screamed the grunt...
Inside...
Ash and Gary had asked the front desk if they could speak with the Director, both were granted access under supervision
"Ahh there you are, I was expecting you, say, where are the other three?" Asked Clavell
"Some of those 'Team Star' people are outside harrassing us, so they're out there beating them as we speak" said Gary
The director sighed
"I'm sorry you had to experience that, I hope they're okay" said Clavell
"Oh trust me, they're okay" said Gary
"Well, I assume you've come to ask for a Tera Orb? I've already thought ahead on that matter" said the Director pulling out two orbs, neatly identical to Arven's
"Unfortunately we only have two in stock right now I'm afraid" said the Director
"That's fine" said Gary
"So, how do we use them?" Asked Ash
"It's easy, you press the middle button and aim at the Pokemon you wish to Terastalize and it syncs up with that Pokemon, unfortunately it's still in the prototype phase so there's quite a bit of recoil, so you may need to use both hands whilst getting used to it" said the Director
"Brilliant" said Gary
"So, I have shown a bit of generosity towards you two, I must ask, why do you hide your faces with fake names, cloaks and masks?" Asked Clavell
"I'm afraid we can't reveal that information" said Gary
Ash stayed silent
The director stared them down with questioning intent
"Well, if I'm not going to get any answers out of you, then instead I'll ask a different set of questions, with those obvious fake names, cloaks and masks, how do you fit in?" Asked Clavell
"Well thats it, we don't, that's why we barely show ourselves, but trust us, we fit in a lot more like this then we do without them" said Ash
"Agreed" said Gary
"Those three out there aren't wearing Masks, is there a reason for them not to?" Asked Clavell
'What's with all the questions?' thought Gary to himself
Ash then lifted part of his cloak to reveal his arm
The director raised an eyebrow
Ash began to roll up his sleeve revealing his burnt arm
The director was surprised and mortified
"I... I see" said Clavell
"You understand why neither of us reveal ourselves" said Ash
"The fake names... They're there to protect you from being recognised as burn victims correct?" Asked the director
"Correct" said Gary playing along with Ash's lie
"I see... I'm sorry I brought it up, I'm sorry you had to go through that, and at such a young age" said Clavell
Clavell knew they were young by their small stature
"No need to apologise, you had nothing to do with it" said Gary
"Well, in that case, I'll let you two go, there's some places here that can help you with your conditions, I can offer you this" said Clavell offering some money
Ash didn't want the money, neither did Gary, and it was evident to Clavell
"Don't worry, I truly don't mind, I'd do this to any student here, even if they were part of Team Star" said Clavell
That made them feel better as they slowly accepted the money and looked at the door the two taking off their masks halfway so that the camera's couldn't see his face
"Thank you" said the two without the voice changer
Clavell smiled as the two left the room, masks back on
"Interesting group" said Clavell
(Alarm) (Alarm)
"Oh, it is that time already?" Asked Clavell
He got up out of his seat, and walked down the hall, making his way to the elevator when he suddenly noticed a familiar face
"Miss Miriam?" Asked Clavell
"Ahh hello Director, is it time for you to see Miss Geeta?" said the School Nurse
"It would seem so" said Clavell
"Well I wish you a pleasant walk" said Miriam
"Say, you wouldn't happen to know what someone with burns on their body would take for medicine?" Asked Clavell
"Well usually the patient would undergo Skin Graft Surgery, after that if there are scars left behind then it can be treated with Panthenol" said the Nurse
"I see" said Clavell moving on...
Back outside...
"Gabite!" Screamed the leader of the grunts as he saw it gets hit with all those moves at once
The three would begin stretching and yawning, taunting the five members
"Hnnnng, you'll pay for this!" Said the five as they ran from sight
"Well that was boring" said James
"Truly" said Jessie
"Glad you three had fun" said Gary as the two had come back
"We ready to begin traveling again?" Asked Jessie"
"Yes, I believe we should head over to the Ice Mountain" said Ash
"I must admit, it would look good at the very top" said James
Meowth was already shivering at the thought
"Let's go, before we get challenged by any of those little twerps again" said James
"James, we call them runts now" said Jessie
"Fine, Runts" said James
"Oh right, also, we got this" said Gary as he revealed the money
"Finally, decent food" said Meowth and James in unison
"Let's decide on food quickly" said Gary
"Cheap food that's filling, I'd say something with rice" said Jessie
Ash stayed out of the discussion as he looked downwards at the two Charcadet, one looking upbeat and the other looking shy
"You two might not wanna follow us this time, we're going someplace very cold, I don't want anything happening to you" said Ash
The Charcadet shook their heads
"So, you wanna keep going?" Asked Ash
They nodded eagerly
"I'm not sure how we'd do it but... Maybe I could fit you both in my bag with the rest of my things, then maybe it could work" said Ash
The two eagerly hopped in, seemingly content, and fitting well
Ash smiled
"Alright, I'm ready, is the food?" Asked Ash
"Yes, we've fully stocked up" said Jessie
"Brilliant" said Ash
The group moved to the gate adjacent to there they entered, and as they stepped out of the city, were greeted by farmlands
"Let's go" said the group as they began the trek...
Later that night...
Clavell continued walking up the mountain, finally arriving at the League building
"Mr. Clavell, we've been expecting you said a female voice
"Rika, I assume things are well?" Asked Clavell
"Almost, Geeta is pretty much back to normal, she's going to do a speech tomorrow" said Rika
"Any idea what it's about? Asked Clavell
"No clue, I'm afraid none of us know, I'd be surprised if Poppy even understood what was being said, and forget about Larry showing any emotion about it" said Rika
"And Hassel?" Asked Clavell
"He speaks to her often, it's the only reason we know about what's going on" said Rika
"Well in that's case, I should go in" said Clavell
"Good luck" said Rika leading him inside...
Pov switch Geeta...
(Knock Knock)
"Miss Geeta, I've arrived as asked" said the familiar voice
"Come in Clavell" said Geeta
"I'm glad your feeling better" said Clavell
"Not particularly, but I'm trying" said Geeta
"That's all we can ask of you" said Clavell
Geeta remained silent
"So, I can imagine you wouldn't call me here on a whim, something's wrong isn't there" said Clavell
"Potentially, and if so, it's immenant" said Geeta
"Is that so?" Asked Clavell now worried
"Yes, there's an evil organisation out there catching legendary Pokemon for use in world conquest" said Geeta
"Funny, we have our own little organisation here that needs solving and yet there's already a bigger threat out of our control" said Clavell
"Yes, Team Star has become a bit of a problem" said Geeta
"Yes, they've seen to somehow get into Mezagoza, had a group just then attacked by them, although they got through with no damage, perhaps they'd be willing to help" said Clavell
"Is that so? Do you know the names of these people?" Asked Geeta
"I remember two of them having fake names, Static and Smoke, there's also a talking Meowth, the other two I believe we're called Jessie and James" said Clavell
"Only thing we can really use from that is the talking mouth, which, by the way, how?" Asked Geeta beginning to take a sip of her tea to keep herself calm
"No clue, but if those names don't help I think they called themselves something else" said Clavell thinking back on when he first met them with Arven
"That is?" Asked Geeta intrigued
"Team... Rocket? Yeah that was it-"
(Crash)
"Geeta are you okay, you dropped your tea?" Asked Clavell
"Team Rocket is here!?!" Asked Geeta in a Panic
"Yeah? Why what's wrong?" Asked Clavell worried
"That's the evil organisation that's trying to take over the world with legendary Pokemon!" Exclaimed Geeta as she quickly got up and ran towards the battle floor where the podium was
"What?!?" Asked Clavell as he too quickly ran
As Geeta reached the podium she quickly ordered everyone to get the broadcasting gear up and running
It took them but a few seconds to get fully set up
"And Live!" Said the man
"People of Paldea, I'm afraid whilst this is my first broadcast in a while, I'm afraid it's still not good news, starting today, if anyone sees suspicious behaviour, it is to be reported immediately, this is not a drill, Paldea has been infiltrated by a group of criminals, and I'm not referring to Team Star, this is bigger then them, I advise everyone to be on the lookout and remain vigilant, descriptions of these individuals will be given out to everyone the moment the sun rises, until then, be safe" warned Geeta
This effectively put the entire region on lockdown, and the regions people into a frenzy
"Geeta, perhaps it wasn't a good idea to say that without some cushioning" said Clavell
"I'm afraid it cannot wait any longer, if they're here, then the people must know, this is not a threat to be taken lightly" said Geeta
"The entire region is going to be in a frenzied state, this is not going to be good for anyone" said Clavell
"I'm afraid the alternative is worse, now come, we need descriptions" said Geeta as she pushed Clavell to give some sketches and descriptions...
Pov switch to ???
"So they're here" said a male voice
"Damn Team Rocket" said another male voice
"We'll get rid of them, they will not go any further" said the third male voice
"Of course" said the forth male voice
"For Ash" said the fifth male voice
Pov switch to Ash...
The group had watched the broadcast from their camp in the farmlands...
"This is bad, it's gonna be hard to move in cities and towns from now on, lucky we left" said Gary
"Ash, you okay?" Asked Jessie
The group looked at Ash as he sat down
"So that's what she looks like..." Said Ash...

Omfg... I'm sorry for the long ass wait, this has been, the longest case of writer's block I've had, and for what is one of the shortest chapters and probably my least favourite to write as I wanted to just get this part over with, because I have been unable to get anything perfect, I also encountered a few problems in the writing, for example:
The timeline of the story, despite the fact it's canonically been months since they've landed in Paldea, Geeta feels like she's only just landed back in Paldea despite the battle with Giovanni happening much earlier in the story then the landing of team rocket
Yeah, this chapter is nothing close to perfect, but unfortunately If I cannot find a perfect route for the story to continue I'm just gonna have to improvise
If I keep the pen in one place for too long, it'll just become a massive puddle of ink, so I'll just put this down and clean it up later, hopefully with a better vision in mind
Once again, sorry for the long ass wait, this next chapter should hopefully be released in a better timeframe then this one, if there are any Spelling or Grammar errors, feel free to point them out and I'll fix them, I do occasionally look for them but it's usually insanely early in the morning, meaning I'm half awake when I do that anyways

P.S Yes, Lunick and Solara are the Main Pokemon Rangers of the first Pokemon Rangers Game, I want to incorporate most of the Pokemon universe into the story
