The girl continued pointing the blaster at us as we raised our hands in defense while slowly stepping back.
"Okay, little girl- who are you?" Captain Man asked her calmly, slowly approaching her.
"I'm--"
"What're you doing here?" he cut her off
"I'm--"
"How old are you!?" Captain Man cut her off again
"I'm--"
"Why'd you hit us on the head!?"
"Let her answer." I scolded
"Well I have alot of questions!"
"Captain Man!" Jim Dickle called out
"Kid Danger and Danger Girl!" the other astronaut said as they banged on the glass
"Help us!"
"Let us out!"
"Be quiet, dad!" the little girl demanded
"Dad?" Captain Man asked as he glanced at Kid Danger and I
"Hey! Don't you talk to me that way!" Jim scolded "I'm an astronaut."
The little girl made mocking faces at him in response.
"You're gonna get it, you little brat!" The other astronaut yelled
"Yeah? Who's got the piece?" the girl held up her blaster
"Okay, what is the deal here?" Kid Danger asked
"I'll tell you the deal. That's my daughter, Kelsey." Jim said
"And she's not supposed to be here!" The other astronaut said
"Well, how'd you get on board?" I asked
She sighed "I used my dad's I.D."
"And then?" Captain Man asked
"And then I sneaked on the supply rocket, hid in a storage container, and here I am." Kelsey explained
"And then she locked us in here where we sleep!" the other astronaut added
"Yeah, and you're gonna stay in there!" the girl stared at him
"She's a smartass child." I whispered to Kid Danger
"I'll tell you what, young lady; When we get back to Earth on the ground, you're gonna be so.. So grounded."
Kelsey rolled her eyes and turned back to us.
"Okay, I don't know what the butt is goin' on here, but uh," Captain Man turned to us "kids, you let those astronauts outta their sleep.. Things."
"Kay." Kid Danger picked up his blaster
"You just freeze!" the little girl demanded
"Hah. We don't freeze, we thaw." Kid Danger blurted out
"What?"
"Wait, you saw what?" Captain Man asked
"Huh?"
"You said you guys saw something." Captain Man looked around
"Wha- no, I said 'we thaw'."
"Well what? You thaw what? What'd you thee?" Captain Man looked at us
"Dude what are you doing?" I turned to hin
"I dunno, the air's pretty weird in here!"
"How is the air--" Kid Danger turned back to the astronauts "Alright, we're gonna let you guys out."
"You move, I blast you two!" The girl threatened, pointing the blaster at us
I turned to look at Kid Danger as he dropped his blaster and we stepped back "Good luck."
The girl blasted us repeatedly but we quickly dodged her shots.
"Woah.. How did you guys do that?" the girl stared at us in bewilderment
"With my hyper-motility and her agility." Kid Danger smiled proudly at me
"What does that mean?"
"That we're good.." he trailed off
"Pfft. Will you take care of her, please?" I turned to Captain Man
"Yeah, alright." Captain Man walked up to the girl but she repeatedly blasted him
"Ow! Ah! Stop it!" he snatched the blaster from the girl "Alright little girl, we're taking you back to Earth. You are from Earth.. Right?"
"Yes, but I'm not going back! You guys don't understand. Those astronauts are evil!" she pointed at them "Look." she pressed a few buttons and crates full of bunnies popped out.
"Bunnies!" I stared at them in awe
"No way, bunnies!"
"Omg, look at the bunnies!"
"Can we take 'em out and play with 'em?" Kid Danger asked
"No, I get to play with the black-and-white one." Captain Man clarified
"No, we all get to play with all of them." I chimed in
"Hey, shut up!" Kelsey yelled "Don't you guys get why they brought those bunnies up here into space?"
"Uhhh. I kinda get why."
"I know why."
"It's pretty obvious, when ya think about it."
"I mean, I don't know why. But just out of curiosity.."
"Just, just wondering.."
"Why-- do you think- why?"
"They're taking 'em to the moon." The girl chimed in "To do experiments on them."
My jaw clenched as Kid Danger, Captain Man, and I slowly walked up to the astronauts.
"It's for science!" The other astronaut reasoned
"What do you mean science?" Captain Man asked
"Y'know, science. The study of how things work and why."
I scoffed "This guy.." Kid Danger stepped in front of me before I could do anything
"We gotta take those bunnies to the Moon!" the other astronaut said
"Why!?" Kid Danger asked
"To see how high they can hop!" Jim explained
"That's insane!" Captain Man shuddered
"Yeah, we already know that the moon has less gravity than Earth." Kid Danger began
"So that means we know exactly how high bunnies can hop on the moon, and the answer is..." Captain Man trailed off
"Very." I answered
"Very high!" Captain Man repeated
"But we won't know that for sure unless we test them." Jim chimed in
"On the moon." the other astronaut added
"Oh, and did those bunnies agree to let you put 'em on the moon?" I asked "No, they did not agree to do that!"
"Oh yes they did!" Jim argued back
"Every one a'those bunnies signed a contract!" the other astronaut argued back
"What contract?" Kid Danger scoffed
"They're right over there, on the clipboard." Jim pointed out to the clipboard behind us
"Let's just see about this clipboard." Captain Man muttered
"We're also going to see about this clipboard." Kid Danger grabbed my hand and followed Captain Man
Captain Man grabbed the clipboard "Ah! Look at this, huh!?"
"Pfft. The bunnies probably didn't even read this!" I held out the contract
"Yeah.. I bet you just dipped their little bunnies' paws in ink, and then pushed 'em onto the bottom of this paper!" Captain Man agreed
"See? Now you guys get why I had to sneak on board?" Kelsey chimed in "I had to save the bunnies."
"Oh, we get it." Captain Man muttered
"You're a smart child." I said, not keeping my gaze off of the astronauts
"Yeah, you did the right thing." Kid Danger agreed
"Wait what!?"
"Oh come on!"
"You guys are seriously on her side!?" Jim asked
"We're on the side of the bunnies!" Captain Man yelled while lifting off the lid of the bunny cages
"Astrojerks!" Kid Danger exclaimed
"Kelsey, honey.. Start loading these bunnies into our shuttle of love. Okay?" I carried one of the bunnies, stroking its fur gently before giving it back to her
"Really?" She grabbed the bunny, smiling at me softly
"Oh yeah, really." I gently pat the bunny
"Yeah, we're gonna take them, and you" Kid Danger turned to the astronauts "back home."
"Aww man!"
"Dangit!"
"Wait, wait, wait. First. Will one a'you get a picture of me holding this bunny?" he asked as he grabbed a bunny
Captain Man sighed "We don't have time for that."
"Come on, I want a pic of me holding a bunny in outer space." he whined
"Why?" I asked
"For my social media."
"Okay, dangit." I pulled out my phone and started taking pictures of Kid Danger with the bunny "Yeahh.. This will get a lot of likes." I smiled at the pictures
"Yeah." Kelsey nodded as I continued taking pictures of my boyfriend

"Love Shuttle to Man Cave, Love Shuttle to Man Cave." I spoke up "Charlotte, Schwoz, Kelly do you hear me?"
"Hey, Dria." Charlotte spoke up first
"Yah, we see and hear you." Schwoz added
"Listen, we're loading up the Love Shuttle with bunnies. And a girl." Kid Danger said
"Bunnies and a girl?" Kelly asked
"Is the girl married?" Schwoz asked
"No, she's eleven." I furrowed my eyebrows "Look, we'll explain everything when we get back."
"But wait, the Love Shuttle can only hold two people and a light person, which is you." Schwoz said
"Uh, well now we're four peoples and six bunnies, so we're gonna have to figure some--" Kid Danger got cut off
"Hey, kids! We're missing a bunny!" Captain Man yelled
"Oh my God where is the bunny?" I frantically stood up to help Captain Man find the bunny
"I'm sorry. I gotta go." I heard Kid Danger say "Schwoz, plot a course for us, back to Earth."
"Aye."
Kid Danger took off his headphones and got back inside the space station to help us.
"Bunny?"
"Bunnyyy?"
"Here, bunny!"
"Mister bunny?" we continued to look around
"Hey." Kid Danger chimed in
"You guys lost one of the bunnies!?" I asked
"Nooo.. He did." Kelsey pointed to Captain Man
"Well, it tricked me. Tricked me it did." he said
"Well c'mon, we gotta find it before he-" Kid Danger turned around "Hey, hey. There he is." he pointed out
The lights suddenly started to flicker.
"Uh-oh, he's chewing through those orange wires.." Kelsey said as I kneeled down to look at the bunny
Captain Man kneeled down with me "Awww. I bet he thinks they're a carrot."
"Heh, yeahh, 'cause orange." Kid Danger smiled in awe
"Yeah, 'cause they're the same colour."
The lights shut off and an automated voice spoke up "Power failure. Switching to battery backup."
"Hey." Kid Danger stood up "Why's the space station losing power?"
"'Cause the bunny chewed through those wires." I explained
"Or..'cause the bunny chewed through the wires." Kid Danger corrected
I stuck out my tongue at him which made him stick out his tongue at me in response.
"Alright little girl, take this bunny, go put him on the Love Shuttle." Captain Man handed her a bunny "Okay?"
"Kay, kay." she carried the bunny
"Hey. Schwoz said the Love Shuttle can only transport three people." I said
"Shotgun!" Captain Man blurted out
"No, dude- What about weight distribution?" Kid Danger suggested
"Okay? 'Cause it's gonna be you, it's gonna be me and Kid Danger," I pointed to the seats "It's gonna be the girl, and it's gonna be six bunnies. That's not gonna fit."
"Well, how many bunnies equals a person?" Captain Man asked
"I don't know. Like thirty-four bunnies?" Kid Danger guessed
"AHH!" The astronauts lunged at Captain Man, slamming him inside a small room before locking him in
"Okay.. There's lots nicer ways you could put a guy in a closet." I pointed out
"Yeah. Let me outta here!"
"No!" The other astronaut objected
"We're taking our bunnies back." Jim said
"Over our beaten bodies." I scoffed
"Well then, I guess we're gonna have to beat your bodies." Jim threatened
"And then take our bunnies." The other astronaut added
"Over it!" Jim added
Kid Danger slowly made his way to the door but the astronauts blocked it.
"Uhh. Hah. We happen to have superpowers. So you guys really think you can beat these bodies?" he asked
"Yeah. I think we can."
"In zero gravity." the astronauts walked up to us, pressing a button which made Kid Danger and I float.
"Whoa. Whoa, whoa, whoa!"Kid Danger exclaimed
"Wait, wait, wait! How come you guys aren't floating?" I asked
"'Cause we're wearing magnetic boots."
"Well- can we have a pair of magnetic boots?" Kid Danger asked
"Nope."
"But you can have this." Jim spinned Kid Danger and I around
"I'd rather have the magnetic boots!" I yelled

"Quit it!"
"Come on!" I swatted their hands off of me
"You astronauts! demand that you open this door!" Captain Man yelled "You space cowards!"
"Okay, okay." Kid Danger stopped them "You guys win round one. Now, before we continue.. We'd really like a pair of magnetic boots."
"Sure. Take mine." one of the astronauts held up his leg
"Really?" I asked
"Yeah, come and get 'em There it is, there it is,"
"Come closer." Kid Danger demanded
"Come closer so we can grab." The astronauts laughed at Kid Danger and I
"Stop- stop laughing!" Kid Danger glared at them "You're teasing us."
"Fuckwads!" My eyes lit up as a blue flame got emitted from my hand, immediately getting put out by Kid Danger putting his hand over mine.
"We're flailing here!"
"I will burn down this space station with all of you in it I swear to God!"
They grabbed our hands and tried to slam us on the wall. Failing to do so as Kid Danger and I grabbed on a rail.
An alarm started blaring.
"Aw great, you guys ruptured the ionic oxidizer!" Jim whined
"Wha- we did!?" I asked
"Yeah!"
"You threw us!" Kid Danger added
"Turn the gravity back on." Jim demanded
One of the astronauts flipped a lever and Kid Danger and I fell to the floor.
"Oxygen pressure dropping." an automated voice said
"Hey, hey. What's happening?" I leaned back against the doorway
"Hey kids, will ya let me outta here!?" Captain Man asked
"Yeah, yeah." Kid Danger got up and unlatched the door
"Ah! What's going on!?" he asked
"Your stupid sidekicks broke our space station!" Jim yelled
"We were pushed ya dumb fucks!" I yelled back
"We're losing oxygen!" the other astronaut said
"What!? Dude, Danger Girl and I need oxygen. Y'know, for like breathing." Kid Danger walked up to Captain Man
"Right, c'mon. We better get outta here!" Captain Man lead Kid Danger and I to the doorway
"Hey, hey, hey wait!" The other astronaut stopped us
"You guys can't leave us up here with no oxygen!" Jim exclaimed
"Well maybe ya shoulda thought a'that before you pushed us!" Kid Danger yelled
"It was your fault!" Jim argued back
"Yeah!"
"False!" I yelled back "Ya assholes!"
"C'mon kid, We can't just leave these guys behind." Captain Man stopped us "So.. Get on the Love Shuttle! Go, go, go!" he demanded
The astronauts trampled over Kid Danger and I, knocking us on the ground.
"Hey! Where's the respect!?"
"We're sidekicks!"
Captain Man helped us up "Go on kids, get in there."
Kid Danger and I walked through the doorway before he stopped and went back to take.. Something.
"I'm taking this." he went back inside the Love Shuttle with me
Captain Man walked to the doorway but stopped in his tracks to take a photo.
"Come on!" I yelled as he followed us inside

"This isn't gonna work!" Captain Man tried to go inside
"Ow!"
"Let me in!"
Everyone just started screaming over each other while I was sitting on Kid Danger's lap, stroking a bunny.
"I'm Captain Man, let me in! Get your own Love Shuttle!" Captain Man peeked his head in "Kids!?"
"Uh.." Kid Danger looked around "There's no more room."
"Well we can't just leave him here in space." I scolded
"Right. Well, the good new is.. There's a handle on the outside of the shuttle." he pointed out
"A handle?" Captain Man asked in bewilderment
"Uh-huh, a good, strong handle." Kid Danger added
"What're you saying?" Captain Man asked
"Y'know.. That we could ride home on the inside.."
"Yeah?"
"And you.."
"Yeah?"
"You ride on the outside.. Of the shuttle. Holding on to the good, strong handle
"But- how will I breathe? I'll suffocate!" Captain Man reasoned
"No, you're indestructible." I smiled innocently as I continued playing with the bunny
"Well yeah, but.. But.. When we re-enter the Earth's atmosphere, I'll burn up!"
"Mmm.. Indestructible." I smiled cheekily at him, earning a kiss on the cheek from Kid Danger.
"Yeah, but-"
"Hurry up!" Kelsey yelled
"We gotta go!" The other astronaut agreed
"I got dance class tonight!" she added
"C-c-come on, come on! N-no, you're not.. Kid."

We watched as the Love Shuttle flew back to Earth and Captain Man was dangling off of a handle.
"I... HATE.. THIS!!"
"He sure screams loud." Kelsey chimed in
"Yeah.." I stared at Captain Man who was screaming outside "But wait.. I thought we weren't supposed to he able to hear sound in space."
"We're not." The other astronaut said
"And also, in space, his hair shouldn't be blowing like that." Jim added
We watched as the ship started to enter Earth's atmosphere and Captain Man started burning up.
"Ooh, fire!" Kelsey beamed
"Now see, that makes sense." Kid Danger said
"Yes, absolutely."
"It sure does."

Time skip - The next day
I knocked on my dad's door, eager to talk to him.
"Come in!" he yelled
I slowly opened the door "Heyyy, dad."
"Oh, hey muffin. You need anything?" He asked with a warm smile
"Nooo. You remember Mrs. Haven right?"
"Yeah, sure I do."
"What do you think of her?" I sat on the chair by his desk
"... Why are you asking me these kinds of stuff?"
"No reason, no reason at all." I shook my head
"Okay, well- Mckenzie is a nice person. She's kind, beautiful, polite.. Beautiful." my dad started staring into the distance in a daydream way
"Dad?" I waved my hand in front of his face "Dad?"
He snapped back into reality "Huh- what?"
"Do you like Mrs. Haven?"
"I- well. You see that's kind of a- uh- well- a-"
"You know you're not saying actual words."
"I- well.. I think she's nice."
"Oh, but do you like her?" I placed my chin on the palm of my hand
"Well- maybe?"
I slammed my hand on his desk "Yes or no?"
"Yes! Okay, yes. I do." He raised his hands in defeat
"Well. How does a date sound?"
"Huh- what? But I don't even have her number I--"
"Kelly and I got that covered. Just go to her house and ask her to dinner tonight." I smirked
"Y-you really think she'll say yes?"
"Pfft. Totally." I reassured
"You really think so?"
"Yes! Now go to Mrs. Haven's house and ask her out!"
"Okay!" He smiled widely before running out of his room

I sighed "I want Chick Fil' A." I got up from his chair
