"And don't wear that shit ever again." Vibe demanded aa he and Isyss lay on the bed naked laughing.
"When you stop-" She started and he cut her off.
"I will never in my life let my print show again." He said raising his hand as if he was making a vow and she looked at him.
"Not intentionally." He said and she still looked.
"Unless it's a photo shoot or somethin." He added and she finally let off a smile.
"Better not." She said matter of fact like making him laugh.
"So what did you think bout the song? I mean it was kinda rushed kinda feel like a Tiktok son." He looked at her and she smiled.
"I mean..." She paused.
"I never had someone write a song bout me." She admitted as she rolled over and looked into his eyes.
"I like it." She said and he nodded.
"Ion need to change my key do I?" He lifted his hand mocking her, exactly what she had done in the bar two years ago.
"Shut up." She laughed slapping his hands down.
"I was hopin yo ass showed up so you could hear it." He admitted as he tugged on a loose one of her curls.
"Shit all the effort I been tryin to get your attention you would have heard this song." He said and she laughed looking at him.
"What effort? Accostin me at Mar Rackz mansion?" She asked and he looked at her.
"First, that was my mansion." He said and she looked at him surprised.
"Second, what you mean effort?" He scoffed.
"The PLT deal? Usher concert? Wardrobe? The necklace? Flowers to your agency since you had your address black listed-" He said and she sat up.
"Wait that was you?" She said and he looked at her.
"Uhm yea." He rubbed his neck.
He had planned on telling her in a much different way than that.
Isyss sat up and laughed.
"What's funny?" He asked confused.
She fell back onto the bed laughing as he looked at her and sat up.
"This whole time I thought I had a stalker." She said and he couldn't help but laugh.
"Honestly that shit was a lil over the top huh?" He asked her as she held her side.
She was sure that the last year she had a stalker but the last 6 months confirmed it. Someone sending flowers to her agency, chocolates to her po box and the random tickets to shows, not from her sponsors. She was sure whoever it was, was just trying to get her alone.
"Oh.. uhh.. I don't know." She said confused because of it being him that changed everything.
"So what? Did a nigga win you over?" He asked and she laughed.
"Not yet." She said and he looked her over laying naked in his bed.
"Not yet? Huh?" He asked and she laughed.
Isyss looked at him and he stared at her.
"You know sometimes it feels like-" She started.
"Like we picked up right where we left off?" He finished and she looked at him.
They both sat up, naked in the bed looking at each other.
"Do you even remember what happened after we left the bar?" He asked her and she looked at him before shaking her head.
"No, what did happen?" She asked and he he smiled.

"And you know I can write better songs." Isyss slurred and Vibe laughed.
"I bet you can write huh? You look like it." She said leaning in and staring at him.
He looked at her and he actually saw her.
Of course, he looked at her that night she was adorable in a sense. Really not his type , style-wise but her personality was everything he wanted. She was funny, smart, and seemed to know a lot about music.
"I can." He admitted.
She chuckled before grabbing her glass.
"I think you're good." He smiled at her he said grabbing it and lowering her hand to the bar.
"You know I don't know if that's true after the night that I had but your smile makes me feel like you're right." She chuckled pushing the glass away.
She looked at her clock and it was almost one.
"I've got to be up early-" She said standing and he looked at her.
He was drunk but looking at her, she had to be wasted.
He started to wonder if she had more drinks before she made it to the bar.
Isyss stumbled and he grabbed her.
"You didn't drive right?" He asked and she shook her head.
"I actually got a room here." She said and he was surprised as he glanced around the 5-star hotel.
"I was supposed to be celebrating but I guess not. I mean what meeting in the mornin?" She laughed and Vibe stood up,
He reached for his wallet.
"Tonight is on me." She smiled falling into his chest.
"For ta rue talent." She poked his chest.
"Ight, ight let's get you to your room." He said and she laughed.
"Sir, are you tryin to take me to bed?" She laughed falling into her chest once more.
Isyss knocked off her glasses and panicked.
"I can't see." She said covering her face.
Vibe laughed leaning down grabbing her frames and quickly passing them to her.
She stood with her hands over her face.
They were close but he couldn't even get a look at her.
"Here." He said.
She quickly snatched her glasses.
"Thanks." She said and was already putting them on her face as he watched.
"Okay lemme help you since tonight is on you. The least I can do." He said and she nodded.
"Okay." She said sticking out her arm for him to lead the way.
He laughed.
"I don't know the number." He said and she laughed.
"I forget. Forgot?" She said correcting herself before passing him her room card.
"Alright, alright. I got you." He said pulling her arm after she interlocked hers with his.
They headed to the elevator as she stared.
"You know you can be a star." She said and he laughed.
"Oh really?" He pressed the elevator button.
"Yup, see earlier tonight I was a manager." She said pointing to her chest.
He looked over at her and realized she came in with a sad face but instead spent the entire night talking about himself. He had let it all out about his job and not once did she say he was wrong. Instead, she pointed out what his boss could have done better and even offered him suggestions since she was sure he could be a star.
He felt like an asshole that he didnt even give her the chance to vent.
They walked into the elevator and she leaned her back against the wall as he pressed the button.
"So just find someone else. Hell, you can be my manager." He said and she laughed.
"I just don't know if I can do it again." She looked at him standing up.
"Plus it looks like you would break my heart too." She said and he looked at her.
"Those days are past me." She said looking ahead.
"Oh yea. Then what's next?" He asked and she shrugged.
"For the first time in a while, I'm not sure." She admitted.
"But not havin to manage and deal wit someone else shit might be better." She said and the elevator doors opened.
She marched out and he followed.
"So from my point of view, you can be a star. There is no handbook to it you jus gotta get attention. You'll see by tomorrow." She looked at her phone's notifications still blowing up.
She knew it was a mix between her fall and his singing video circulating and being tagged in.
Jabari's ugly ass cousin tagged Isyss's business social media page so everyone knew who she was.
She debated on deleting her page at that point.
"So what does that mean?" He asked and she turned around with her hand out.
He passed her the card and she walked in.
"Maybe jus say fuck everyone and everythin?" She said and he looked at her.
Isyss laughed.
"Seriously, I don't know. I mean I haven't made anyone famous." She said and he walked in.
"But what if you did what would be next?" He asked and she spun around.
"First I'd make sure my artist has records on records. Like sustainability." She said rubbing her chin.
Vibe thought she was adorable but she might have been onto something as he let her room door close.
The room itself was nice.
It screamed 'I'm rich.'
"Second, have them train in stage presence, interviews, and things like that." She said taking a seat on her bed.
"Rest of the time all studio, no partyin. I mean maybe for show but why constantly party if the plan was to make music ya know?" She sat on the bed tossing her jacket as turned on the TV.
"But you? You have talent so that means once you get in there you'll survive, only talent can do that. Well, talent and loyalty." She said.
She flipped the channels and Vibe couldn't help but look at her laying there.
He found himself inching closer to the bed as he took a seat.
"Now I sound like a flip-flop." She sighed.
"Jabari had talent, well has he just has no loyalty." She said sounding sad.
She quickly sucked it up and Vibe looked at her.
"I mean shit people jus remakin hits anyways. Most of his beats were sample." She said laughing.
"I mean I can be the next upcomin star too ya know?" She turned to him and he laughed.
"Oh yea?" He chuckled.
"Yup, number on hit 'Ice Ice Baby'" She laughed falling back onto the bed and passing out and he laughed.
"But iono I dont want the fame, just recognition ya know? Like everyone knows who I am but they dont." She sighed.
Vibe wasn't drunk but he was feeling the drinks and found himself staring at her.
"In another life." He smirked sure if he was single or a cheater he would have her undressed and had her moaning his name.

"And like five minutes later you fell asleep. Iono I guess i did too." He said and she chuckled.
"I did not say Ice-Ice baby." She laughed and he nodded.
"You tellin the person who remembers or na?" He said and she laughed.
"So you goin to be my girlfriend?" He asked looking into her eyes and she smiled.
"Why?" She asked and he looked at her.
"I thought I already told you?" He looked at her.
"The night I met you my life changed. You gave me a blueprint, I figured the rest of the shit out." He said arrogantly and she rolled her eyes.
"But I liked you then and I like you now so if you down, I wanna be wit you." He said and she smiled.
In that moment she wanted nothing more than to say yes.
Vibe could see the look on her face.
"It's the fame shit huh?" He asked and she nodded.
"But tonight was lit. You was up there wit me. You felt that right?" He said and she knew what he was talking about.
That was because he was a star as she had said.
"I mean every day, all the time. I hate that I'm involved with things now." She admitted.
"I ain't goin' to hide you but I can protect you, maybe love you?" He said looking at her and grabbing her chin.
"Please?" He said and she looked at him.
"Vibe I'm scared. I don't do well with the whole bein out, hounded, the rumors. I'm confident but I'm insecure, I panic, I can be mean and I just hate being hurt." She said in the simplest way she could.
He nodded.
"Well don't be, I got you. The rumors I can't stop." He said looking at her.
"But I won't hurt you and ima fuck up anyone who tries to hurt you." He said looking at her.
"Just trust me once and I promise I will never give you a reason to not think 'damn I wanna have his babies'" He said smirking and she laughed.
"Vibe you are irritatin, and where is the plan b you said that was supposed-" She said and he grabbed her hand.
"Ima get it but will you be my girl?" He asked again and she rolled her eyes.
"What I had a perfect vibe goin on, you tha one bringin up tha plan b." He said and she laughed.
"Cause we obviously don't need a baby when we first get together." She said and he smiled.
"So we together? oh, snaps lemme get that plan b before you think I was trying trap you wit a baby." He said standing up and she laughed.
"You know the long way you drew that out and your tone made me feel like you was." She looked at him.
"Can you make a store run fa me?" He said putting his phone to his ear and she laughed.
Isyss climbed out of the bed and headed for the bathroom.
"Yea, my girlfriend needs somethin." He said the 'girlfriend' part loudly making her laugh harder.
