My name is Cheyenne, and as one of the turtles of science, I like to investigate things. But I never thought my study of the strange crystals we found in our lair would awaken creatures from the underground, lead us on a search deep below the Earth, or take us to an abandoned Foot Genetic Lab where terrible things were done in the name of the Shredder. - Cheyenne
As a turtle of science, you wouldn't think I'm the type to believe in monsters but you be wrong, dead wrong. - Donnie
The monsters gets closer to the turtles as they walk backwards into the lab. "Ah, I think I speak for all of us when I say Zonks!" Mikey yelled as the back away from the monsters. The turtles threw their backpack aside while the blue monster walks closer and sprays acid at the turtles disseminating the floor. "That's it." Raph said as the turtles grab their weapons. "OK, you guys take the three on the left." Mikey said to them. "There ARE only three." Jamey said to him. "Yes, so you guys can fight while I will be odd turtle out." Mikey said to them. "You're telling me." Raph said to him then the red monster throws an unit at the turtles but miss. The group then engage with the monsters while Mikey stays back with Cheyenne.
Donnie and Tasneem engage in combat with the red creature. When Donnie hits the monster with his Bo Staff, it raises its claws in preparation for an attack, but Tasneem deflects the monster's claw with her Manriki and leaps over it while clinging to her weapon, causing it to fall. Donnie and Tasneem give each other the thumbs up, but the red thing snatches them up with its claws and throws them.
The blue monster approaches Jesse, who leaps out of the path, but Leo is grabbed and thrown into a pipe. Leo stands up, cuts the pipe, and kicks it to the blue monster, which uses its acid to spread it.
Together, Jamey and Raph battle the stone monster, ultimately defeating it. Jamey kicks the monster in the face then Raph snatches its arm and throws it over his shoulders. With a nod, Raph turns to face Jamey, who assists Donnie and Tasneem by kicking the red monster out of their way.
The stone monster climbs and digs itself inside into ceiling for a sneak attack. "WOW! That would be so cool if it was not trying to kill us." Tasneem said to them then the stone monster digs out for the sneak attack that was right above Mikey. "Mikey!" Raph yelled as he runs over to Mikey, before the monster can attack Raph intercepts the stone monster's attack and succeeds. "Watch your back you oddball!" Raph yelled at him. "You just called odd didn't you?" Mikey said to him then the stone monster jumps on Raph. "I'm not odd, I'm eccentric." Mikey said to himself then he walks over to Cheyenne's hiding spot. "Raph thinks I'm odd." Mikey said to her. "You're just being sensitive." Cheyenne said to him while she rubs his head. "Sensitive? If there's one thing I hate, its when people call me sensitive." Mikey said to her.
The turtles continue to fight the monsters, Tasneem and Donnie fight against the red monster while Raph and Jamey fights the stone monster. "Hey, I know these monsters are viscous abominations but guys we're not holding our own out there, now lets dig deep." Mikey said to them.
Jesse and Leo continues to fight the blue monster, it sprays acid onto the glass silos cursing them to crack. "You will take no more of us!!" Blue monster said to Leo and Jesse. "It talks." Jesse said to herself. "We're not here to take anybody." Leo said to him then a big piece of equipment begins to topple on top of the creature. Rather than letting the monster get crushed, Leo leaps and carries the beast away from the toppling machinery. "Look out!" Leo yelled as he lamps at the monster. "Leo, you okay?" Jesse asks him as she runs over to him. "I'm fine." Leo said to her then he looks at the blue monster. "Why have you attacked us?" Leo asks it while the blue monster seems puzzled then the red monster attacks Leo and Jesse kicking them into a wall where Cheyenne and Mikey was. "You know something guys? They're thinking we're somebody else." Leo said to them. "Ah man that's just great, we're getting our shells sh-elacted at someone elses fight?" Mikey asks them. "Then I vote we get the shell out of here." Donnie said to them as the turtles group up. "Run away, that ain't my style." Raph said to them. "We will call it a tactical retreat lets move." Jesse said to them while she helps Cheyenne stand up. "We're leaving." Donnie said as he pushes a button with his Bo-staff which opens a sealed door and the turtles head down the corridor the monsters begin to follow. "Tactical retreat, I can live with that." Raph said to himself before following the others.
The turtles enter another room, Donnie tries to open the door at the end but won't open. "Its sealed tight." Donnie said to them as the monsters get closer making the turtles run over to the door while Jesse stays with Cheyenne and the group close the vault door but the monsters start damaging it. "Somebody gonna answer that?" Mikey asks them then the red monster bursts the door as the stone monster emerges from the floor and about to attack the turtles. The turtles stand shell to shell ready for a fight until the Blue monster walks into the room. "NO!" Blue monster calls out to its allies to stop. "Say the word bro." Raph said to Leo while Mikey stands behind Tasneem. "Easy Guys, it's ok." Leo said to them then the blue monster sniffs the turtles. "Who are you?" Blue monster asks them. "Not who you think we are." Jesse said to it. "Then why do you carry THOSE?" Blue monster asks while pointing at Donnie's bag containing the crystals. "Whoa! Wait a minutes! We found these crystals in a cavern where staying that's all." Leo said to them. "Yeah and just what business it of yours anyway?" Jamey asks it making the Blue monster grunts. "Those crystals are the embodiment of evil, why have you come here?" Blue monster asks them. "Cause one of you ogres went sniffing around our place looking for trouble so we're here to..." Mikey said making Tasneem covers Mikey's mouth. "To just look for some answers, that's all." Tasneem said to him. "I'm Leonardo and these are my brothers. Raphael, Donatello and Michelangelo." Leo said while pointing at his brothers in order as he says it. "My name Jesse, and the girls are my sisters. Jamey, Cheyenne..." Jesse said to them then Tasneem cuts her off. "And Tasneem, that's me by the way." Tasneem said to them while Jesse makes a face. "We were drawn to your habitat, When your crystals were activated." Blue monster said to them. "Gee! Wonder who coulda done that." Cheyenne said while looking at Mikey. "What?" Mikey said to her. "Their energy is a sign of danger to us so we considered you dangerous, thou we usually sense them coming from deeper below." Blue monster said to them. "BELOW? you mean there's more of these crystals down there? We just like to find out where they came from that's all and maybe..." Donnie said making the Blue monster interrupt Donnie. "NO! it is a forbidden place, something unspeakable dwells there amidst the crystals, There are some things man was never meant to tamper with." Blue monster said to them making Tasneem covers Mikey's mouth from saying something. The blue one looks over at the youngest turtles then back to the others. "He IS an odd one." Blue monster said to them. "You don't know the half of it." Tasneem said to him while holding Mikey.
The turtles and the monsters walk back to the genetics lab. "I don't trust these guys." Mikey said to Jamey and Raph. "Why?" Jamey asks him. "Try the fact that they're monsters." Mikey said to her. "Yeah well, to some people so are WE." Cheyenne said to him while Donnie was holding her. Mikey rubs his head as Tasneem pulls him back. "What have I tell you about thinking before you talk." Tasneem said to him. "Think before talking." Mikey said to her while Leo and Jesse talk to the Blue Monster. "I can't believe that shredder had you genetically altered as diggers just to search down here for some enemy." Leo said to him. "Yes, and he did so without remorse, we forced against our will to do his bidding." Blue monster said to him. "He snatched you at random from where?" Jesse asks him. "The streets, our offices, our homes anywhere shadow can conceal a foot soldier. We don't know why we were chosen." Blue monster said to her. "What's your name?" Leo asks him. "I am Quarry of tunnel squad 3 the others are Stonebiter and Razorfist." Blue monster said to them. "No not what the foot called you, your real name." Jesse said to Quarry. "s...si, my memory is..." Quarry said then he grunts. "The experiments performed on us has stripped us of who we are." Quarry said to them. "Yes we saw the video log entries." Leo said to them. "Well don't worry about shredder he got his doom." Raph said to them. "Yeah, he made the mistake of messing with the ninja turtles, there's a lesson to be learned that." Mikey said to them and he laughs. "If you know what Mikey means." Tasneem said to them.
The alarm goes off and they hear monster roars. "Oh no, the others they tripped an alarm at the east delta tunnel, hurry, we must activate the energy shield." Quarry said them then he walks over to the main computer. Quarry tries to activate the shield but the crystal loses its glow. "No No." Quarry said as it tries and again but to no avail. "Don't do a "No No", I hate "No No"s." Mikey said to him. "It's no good, the shield will NOT activate we have power no force field and they're heading this way." Quarry said to them. "Ah yeah, we kinda mentioned force field." Raph said to Quarry. "And Raph kinda broke." Mikey said to them making Raph look at him then the group hears monster roars again. "What is out there?" Cheyenne asks Quarry while using her bo to help her stand up. "The others." Quarry said to her. "Other What?" Jesse asks him. "Test subjects like us, they endlessly prowl the tunnels." Quarry answers her. "Why do have to keep them out?" Leo asks him while Quarry breaks off a monitor and crabs the cables inside. "Because they attack us they're violent, uncontrollable their minds have deteriorated." Quarry said to them as he tries to hot wire the system. "From the genetic mutation?" Cheyenne asks him. "Yes." Quarry said to her. "Then what about you three?" Donnie asks him. "Madness looms in our future as well." Quarry said to him then the group hears another roars again and the Turtles prepare to fight. "Weapons will do no good, without the force field we won't stand a chance." Quarry said to them as the monsters get closer to the lab. "They'll be on us in minutes." Quarry said to them. "You know you're kinda freaking me out here, are you always such a naysayer?" Mikey said to him while Donnie picks up the crystal but then it crumbles. "Huh? Is that the crystals are power sauces?" Donnie asks Quarry. "Yes but that was our only one, when we found it in the catacombs we paid dearly for it." Quarry said to them. "Well, what about one of ours?" Leo asks while he pulls out other one from Donnie's bag. "They're too small, would not last." Quarry said to him then Donnie takes the crystal from Leo. "It only has to last until they give up and move on." Donnie said to him as he places the crystal but it doesn't glow up, not activating the force field. "Come on." Donnie said to himself while Stonebiter, Razorfist, Jamey and Raph closes the heavy door. "There is no spark." Cheyenne said to Donnie who starts taps the crystal with another to activate but to no a veal. "For some reason they won't just power up maybe the connections to these connect nods were charged." Donnie said to her while Quarry breaks offs another screen and looks in at the circuitry. "Or maybe you got the thing upside down." Mikey said to Donnie as he climbs over to Donnie. "It is NOT upside down Mikey." Donnie said to him while the monsters start hitting the door trying to get it with Jamey, Raph, Stonebiter and Razorfist hold it close. "OK let's try it again." Donnie said to them after he was done trying to fix something that may needed it. The other underground monsters knock the doors down started walking into lab the first a Cyclops Monster then an Insectoid Monster, Spider Monster and King Nail. Mikey looks at Donnie then he turns the crystal vertically places it the generator and actives. "It's working." Donnie said to them as the computer turns on and activates the force field. The force field shields the turtles and the monsters inside and it expands wider pushing the other monsters back into the tunnels then the monsters to break through but to no avail.
"Don't think I didn't see that Donny, It WAS upside-down." Mikey said to Donnie. "Its overloading." Quarry said to them while Tasneem looks back at the other monsters to see they were leaving. "They're leaving." Tasneem said to them making Quarry turn to see the monsters going back into the tunnels. "But tomorrow they'll be back, they always come back." Quarry said to them. "Then you beta have a bigger crystal." Jesse said to them. "We will not survive another journey to the forbidden-zone." Quarry said to her. "What makes the place so forbidden?" Mikey asks him. "The ancient catacombs stretch for miles, we were forced to explore it, many of us never returned." Quarry said to them. "Ah, maybe they got lost?" Tasneem asks Quarry. "They were taken by a ghostly entity, there is never any sign of a struggle, they're just gone." Quarry said to them. "Look I understand why you don't want to go down there but are ain't a lot of options, you need another crystal and fast." Leo said to him. "And since we uh, we're the one who kinda fried your security system we'll go with ya, Right guys?" Raph asks them making everyone agreed then they look at Mikey. "You know the corner hardware store has a sale on generators that would really get this force-field humming, so I'll just go up top and clop the coupon and then..." Mikey said and was about to walk away but Tasneem grabs Micky's arm taking him with the others. "Oh..." Mikey yells as Tasneem pulls him back.
The turtles and the monsters exit the lab and head deeper into the caves. Tasneem turns around to see Razorfist and Stonebitter were scared making her walk over to them. "It's going to be okay." Tasneem said to them while she pats Stonebiter and Razorfist's forehead. "Be brave." Tasneem said to them with a smile while Quarry watch them. "OK, lets keep our wits about us." Jesse said to the group. "Don't Worry Mikey, You can share my wits." Raph said to Mikey. "Oh so now I'm witless? Must by why the only one bothered by the fact were're heading into a place even monsters are afraid of!" Mikey yelled while Donnie gives Cheyenne a piggy back ride down the down a rocky slide.
Suddenly the turtles roll down a rocky slide. "Shortcut? In what mutated imagination could that be considered a..." Mikey said as Quarry, Stonebiter, Razorfist climb the wall. "Oh sorry, we forgot you can't scale rock." Quarry said to them while Donnie makes sure Cheyenne was okay. "Let's try to avoid that mistake in the future OK?" Jamey said to them while the group stands up. "HO! Who cut the cheese?" Mikey asks them. "You're smelling a sulfur pool Mikey." Donnie said to him as he helps Cheyenne stands up. "Coming from a turtle who grew in a sewer trust me when I say this place sinks." Mikey said to him. "We must keep moving, the other wonder down here this is their territory." Quarry said to them as the turtles and the monster walk carefully on stepping stones over sulfur pool, a small mollusc emerges from a bubble in front of Leo then its grab by Quarry's tongue and swallowed. "Eww." Jesse said to him while Razorfist grabs Tasneem and places her on it's shoulder. "We learn to live off the land for it lives of us." Quarry said to them then Razorfist smashes through a wall then the monsters scale the wall, while the turtles traverse on the narrow ledge but Cheyenne who was holding onto Stonerbiter. "Ah!" Jesse yelled as her slips but Leo grabs her before she falls. "You okay?" Leo asks her. "Woo, that was a little too close for comfort." Jesse said to Leo who holds her hand. "Watch your footing guys." Leo said to them. They walk across a projecting ledge with a whirlpool under it. "This is it." Quarry said to the turtles while Donnie helps Cheyenne off Stonebiter then the monsters jump into the whirlpool first. "Following monsters off a cliff may not be the smartest thing we ever done." Leo said to them. "You will still do it." Jesse said to Leo who looks at her as Jesse jumps into whirlpool. "Man, why don't you marry the girl." Raph said to Leo who looks at him before the turtles jump into the whirlpool but Tasneem and Mikey. "This is the grossest, that looks like a giant toilet. Which I guess makes me tidy bull turtle." Mikey said to himself then he looks at Tasneem who was hugging herself. "Give me your hand." Mikey said to her making Tasneem look at him before taking his hand and the two jump in together.
On the other side the whirlpool, Mikey and Tasneem falls down a waterfall and flows downstream rapidly and they sees the sharp crystal spikes. "Oh no!" Tasneem said to herself as the two try to swim away. "Current too strong, I'm gonna be turtle Skewered." Mikey said to Tasneem until Stonebiter grabs Mikey by the head and Razorfist grabs Tasneem and the two pulls them out the stream to safety. "Let go of his head stonebiter." Quarry said to Stonebiter who lets go of Mikey. "Do that again and I'll give ya a real taste of the turtle dude." Mikey said to Stonebiter making Tasneem hit Mikey's head. "Bad Mikey." Tasneem said to him. "How far away from the crystals are we?" Leo asks Quarry. "They're here in the catacombs but from this point on we must be very quiet." Quarry said to them and the group walks through the catacombs, the turtles see some pillars with familiar patterns.
"Hey Mikey and Tasneem recognize these carvings?" Cheyenne asks them while she uses her bo staff to help her walk. "Whoa." Tasneem said while looking at the rock walls. "These are just carvings in our lair." Mikey said to them. "Yeah, same interior decorator." Raph said to them. "I know who to go to if I want this for my home." Cheyenne said to them with a smile making Donnie smile at her while Quarry finds a big crystal in cavern wall. "Good this crystal will do, we nee-den travel any deeper into this evil place." Quarry said to them as he walks up to the crystal. Micky looks up at the ceiling and the Insectoid monster emerges. "Ah! wait up, GUYS GUYS GUYS, We got monsters right behind me, Ahhhhh!" Mikey screams as he runs past the group. "Everybody let's get to cover." Jesse said to them. "But that way leads to..." Quarry said to them as the group starts running. "No choice lets go." Leo said to him.
The turtles and the monsters come across a grey door, Razorfist tries to claw on through but to no avail then Stonebiter tries ram it down but still doesn't make dent, then Quarry tries scratching then uses its acid spray that even doesn't do. "Hmm." Cheyenne hums to herself as she looks at the crystal shaped-hole at the right side. "Stand back." Cheyenne said to them as she takes the crystal from Donnie and she walks over to the slot in the wall. "Please work." Cheyenne said to herself as she places the crystal in the slot but nothing happen. "Ah nevermind." Cheyenne said to them. "Battle ready, guys." Jesse said to them as the turtles pull out their weapons. "You know I wonder?" Cheyenne asks herself and she turns the crystal over and the it actives and the door opens. "Hey, guys it worked." Cheyenne said to them while Donnie walks over to her. Jesse and Leo turn to them and they see a glowing bola comes to Donnie and Cheyenne, spins around then just disappears in a flash.
Mikey - Donny!
Tasneem - Cheye!
Leo - No!
Jesse - No!
Raph - Donnie!
Jamey - Cheyenne!
"They're gone." Tasneem said to them. "And in a couple of minutes we'll be goners too." Mikey said to them as the other monsters make their way of the tunnel and the group. "And here it ends." Quarry said them while the turtles look down the tunnel in disbelief and horror as the crazed monsters close in on them.
