Karishma ( POV )
The morning light woke me up....yesterday sounds like a dream to me right now. But I am sure what happened wasn't any dream. My bed is empty...Aditya must have left for his morning walk.
He was pretty cute yesterday taking care of me...and after what titli told...I am ready to take a new step in my life. As I turned around happily stretching myself I saw two eyes looking at me from the end of the bed.
Whole body covered by the bed just the eyes visible....little eyes filled with moisture....I know who is it...my aditi. She is sitting as silent as a cat watching me sleep.
" Baby come here..." I waved at her. She got shy for getting caught but slowly walked near the bed. She is silent and her eyes are red....something tells me she was crying. But why my baby was crying?
" Are you alright? why your eyes are red? were you crying Darling? " I asked her and again she broke down into tears. My heart hurts to see her cry like that.
" come here baby...Come to mummy. " I know I have cold and letting her get closer can get her effected too...but looking at her I gave in. She climbed up in the bad...got inside my blanket and cuddled with me.
" I was so scared....you were not talking.I thought you left me like my mummy and that scared me. " She said I can sense fear in her voice.
" Dont be scared...your my brave girl. And always remember mummy loves you...I will never leave you. So dont be scared. " I told and talked with her somemore trying to get her relaxed.
After sometimes she left to play with her brother and sisters. It has been a while...why aditya isn't back? I feel weak today...should let miss snow handle the kids while I rest a bit today.
As I lay for another nap....my door cracked open and a girl walked in the room. I know her.....she is sahara.
She walked in and stood awkwardly near my bed. I smiled at her to which she smiled awkwardly. I told her to take a sit which she did.
" We are not formaly introduced my name is karishma...you must be sahara? " I asked her and she nodded in response.
" I know...its a weried question but have you seen her? " asked sahara. I know who she mean but how does she know about it. I nodded and she understood the question in my eyes.
She over turned my hand and showed me a star mark that matches with the star mark in her hand. So we both meet with titli.
" I know...as a friend of titli I never approved you for Aditya. But seeing how happy he is...and how wonderfully you have taken care of the kids....I am happy for Aditya. And I am so sorry for what happened at the party. " She said carefully. I undrestand her concern and thats why wasn't that mad at her.
" I understand your concern and am very happy that titli had a wonderful friend like you. Hope in future we can be good friends. " I told her and she nodded.
" Titli told me she herself chose you for her....you must be special. " Well her words did make me feel special.
" I know my sudden appearance has and that behavior must have created problems for you...but I am turely sorry for that. " She said with teary eyes and she does looks sorry.
" You don't have to be sorry...you did nothing wrong. Our relationship wasn't that strong....but now hope everything will go well. " I told her and she nodded with a smile.
" Here I brought chocolates for you. " She said handing me some of my favorite chocolates. " I have seen your insta pics and know you like them. " she said and I like her already.
" I told titli...you will be my best friend soon and we can have fun together. " I told her.
" yes we will. " She said holding my hand. Hope things change between us. Hope become good friends one day. We talked for sometimes and she left my room to let me rest. And trust me I am very sleepy.
As I woke up after sometimes I saw that fimiliar figure. My best friend samrat choudhary. He was sitting on the bed.
" Aree...tu abhi tak zinda hai...mari nahi ( you're still alive, you didn't
die) " he said but who told him that I was sick.
" Aditya called me...some business issues...and than he told me about your health. I told him that I am your best friend...so he invited me to visit you. " he said all that in one breath.
" You didn't told mom or dad right? or they will worry. " I asked him and to my satifaction he ensured me that he has not told my parents about it.
" So....aisa kya kiya ki bimar hi hu gai
( what did you do that you became sick) kya kya fantasies hain bhai ( you and your fantasies ) " he said and I punched him in his hand.
" I am sick and you're joking. " I said making a face. " Jokes aside agar tujha kuch hu jata na....main pura sharma corporation jala deta ( If anything really happened to you I will burn sharma corporation)" he said in a serious tone.
" I know...." I told him and he gave me a hug. Its so cute and nice to have a friend. " Take a shower...." he said leaving me and fake choughing.
" Nikal....(out ) " I told him. And he laughed. My hands were on my lap...and he saw the star in my hand. He looked at it like he knows it but said nothing.
" Duties...duties that we are forced to do. " he said in a whisper. " What happened? " I asked him.
" I have to talk with Aditya about his work....will see you soon." he said ruffled my hairs and left. What did he mean by duties? Well only he knows what he says.
At night
After sam left I spent the rest of the day sleeping in my bed and now I feel so refreshed. Its almost eight and Miss snow took the kids for dinner.
I took a quick shower and sat down to have dinner but everything tasted to bad. I pushed my food tray and sat with a sawollen face like a little girl.
" Why are you not eating your dinner? you need to take medicine..." said Aditya sitting beside me. " Not tasty. " I told him making a face.
" You're acting like gungun you know that. " Said Aditya with a smile. " Its not tasty Aditiya. " I told him making a face.
" But you have to eat it...just a little bit. " he said and took the food tray and started to feed me. " No...no don't want. Very bad. " I said pushing the tray away.
" Come on....its not that bad...Jaan try some...its good. Come on...mishti ( sweet )....just a little bit. " he said...by the way is it me or he called me Jaan and mishti ?.
I looked at him all curious and for some reasons he didn't correct himself. He always corrects himself than what happened?
" Eat or sahara will give you an injection. " he said and now how can I say no to that. Too afraid of needles.
Then he handed me my medicine and I had to drink that without any complaints.
" Now you rest and let me change okay....by the way...sahara... have you met with her? " he asked walking towards the closet and pulling his change clothes out.
" yes, she is sweet. Soon we will be bestfriends. " I told him. I am very positive about it.
" Well, she is here today with the kids. I told her to go home but she insisted to stay here and care for you. Now is probably in Aditi's room. " said Aditya opening his shirt and throwing it in the washing bag with other clothes.
We shared room before but he never changed infront of me. Always doing it privately. I could see his perfect chest, his well maintained muscular body. He stood like that looking for a t-shirt, I controlled my thought of taking a picture of him. His six pack abs , his little dusky skin tone ...but control he may not like your hungry looks.
He wore a t-shirt and walked over like nothing happened. He climbed up in the bed and lied in his stomach....his face near my lap with phone in his hand he stayed their for sometimes.
I still remember the first day when I almost fell on him. That day who knew that one day we will share the same bed....time has changed so much.
" you're going to sleep here? " I asked him slowly....he simply nodded but said nothing. Like we never slept together before...it's going to be alright.
" we don't have a child between us....even gungun is not sleeping here today. " I told him. " Sahara took them its for their best....they may catch a cold from you. " he replied without looking away from his phone.
" Samrat came over today...." I told him. " I know...we have a land that was taken by another company illegally....we tried everything but nothing happened. No lawyer succeeded to get it back. Told sam he did the work in six hour...we got double of what we lost from that company. " he said and wow they have become friends.
" looks like you have become
friends. " I asked him. " He maybe your bestfriend...but he is now my lawyer friend. Don't be jealous but he is my friend now. " he said and I am so happy for it.
Aditya never shared his work problems with me. But today he did....and that made me happy. We happily sat silently for some time. oh! I have to let him know about my new decision.
" Aditya I have thought about it very hard and with our current condition I think we should di..." before I could say further he dropped the phone from his hand and hurriedly holding my hands.
He said in a serious tone " We are not getting a divorce....youre not leaving me for anything. You will not leave me..." His voice broken eyes moist...whats wrong with him?. And from ' not leave my kids ' how we ended up in ' not leave me? ' I am so confused. what happened here?
