Present Day

Toronto, Canada

The next day Saba went to his office to return the jacket that she had worn the other day.

"Yes come in" Ahil responded while turning back from where he was standing.

(Let's just assume that he's not christian grey)

"Umm.... Just came here to return the jacket" Saba said as she marched towards his direction, who was standing in front of the glass panel of his room.

Ahil nodded.

As Saba placed the bag on the chair, Ahil's phone rang.

"Dumbo calling"

Saba couldn't help noticing the caller ID because the phone was lying on the table right before the chair, her face turned blanked.

Ahil proceeded in order to pick his phone. Saba in utter confusion turned around the very instant when Ahil was standing right behind her. Both moved first right and then left, mirroring each other. To kill the awkwardness, Ahil stepped aside to give her the way.

"My bad" Saba looked at the floor and walked away.

Ahil picked the phone in order to check who called.

"Tabhi iss keh mu par bara baj gaye thy.... Anyways" he chuckled and redialed the number.

Saba on the other hand, came rushing to her room, looked the door and sat on her chair.

"What the hell did I just see?" She said to herself.

"I can't be wrong.... Mein ny sahi parha hai.... What the heck man?.... All men are shit....Mein nahi toh koi aur sahi.... Ughh" She bursted.

Her blood was boiling with anger. Ahil gave her nickname to someone else, how could she let that slide. For her, it was a substitution which she despised at the moment. Though it had been ages, but she never replaced him, she used to think about him once in a while. To keep him off her mind, she also met a handful of men which her Nano had set up for her but she used to find flaws in each one of them. The truth was, Ahil always stayed with-in her, even if it was her subconscious.

Lahore, Pakistan

"Idher sy left turn lo" Ahil instructed Saba, who was on the wheel. Yes, it was time for some driving lessons and the teacher was non other than her boyfriend, Mr. Perfectly Fine Ahil.

"Keep it on the left".

"Ahil tum dar kiyoun rahay ho" Saba said, looking calm.

"Tum ny kisi ko ura wura diya toh mein kaisay tumhein jail sy bahir nikaloun ga" he teased her.

"Mujhe kiyoun jail sy bahir nikalo gy?.... Tum apny sar ilzaam ly lena after all you're the one teaching me.... Itna toh kar he sakte ho mere liyay tum" She spoke proudly.

"You misunderstood me Ms. Lodhi.... Itna bhi acha nahi houn mein....I solely believe in justice" he replied, eyes still on the road, his extra cautious mode was on.

"Acha toh yeh baat hai.... Ruko tum" Saba countered while pressing the accelerator further.

"Saba slow down..... Saba.... Gari roko.... Saba hum mar jayein gy" Ahil yelled while she laughed.

"Saba pagal ho?" hands on the dash board, he shouted.

"Ab batao.... Jao gy jail mere liyey?" She asked, stopping the car on the sideways.

"Agar zinda bacha tab tak toh chalo jaounga, promise" He retreated.

"That's like a good boy" She smiled at him while stopping the car nearby.

"Acha ab get down.... I'll drive you back home" Ahil opened the passenger door.

"Nahi abhi nahi.... thora aur" Saba insisted.

"Nahi bas bohat hogiya Jumbo Dumbo" He said.

"Kitni baar kahoun mein Dumbo nahi hun" Saba fired away.

"Aur mein kitni baar kahoun keh mein tumhein piyar sy kehta houn, aur sirf tumhein he kehta hun." he affectionately pulled her cheek.

"If I'm your Dumbo toh let me drive this time" She strongly emphasized on the word 'your' this time.

"Ahil please na.... Please one more round" Saba begged him with her puppy eyes.

"Mujhe kiya mile ga?" He inquired.

"Tumhein mera saath mile ga aur kia chahyay" She spoke with pride.

"Umm.... yeh bhi theek hai.... One last round okay?" Ahil closed the passenger door and kept seated beside her.

"Yay" Saba cried out in joy, igniting the engine, she was once again out on the road.

Present Day

Toronto, Canada

The next few weeks were a bit tiresome for the whole team, continuous running between different cities, collecting leads, investigating further suspects, all were out and about just to catch the culprit. The case had to be dead strong for them to turn the criminal in. So all they had to do was to work hard as hell.

The 'Steller CSIS' turned out to be a lady named Emily Steller who worked in CSIS headquarters. She was providing the confidential security information of the country, breaching the law and orders. After a thorough investigation, she was arrested and was compelled to confront all the dealings she made during the recent timeline. Apparently, she had sold out the copies of the security order of some areas around the sea. Something was about to happen, but no one could comprehend what kind of activity it might be, it was time for high alert.

With much of the inspection, they were able to figure out that the illegal dealings such as women trafficking were being held at a cruise ship which was about to leave in 2 days from the port of Toronto. Hence, the team members packed there bags and were about to set out for a risky venture.

----------------------

"So big night today.... We got to act real smart this time.... One small move and we are doomed.... Saba you need to lay low because he has seen you before" officer briefed.

"Ahil and I will be staying closer to the target.... The rest of you will keep an eye from afar.... If anything goes wrong just page us and we will do the same.... Hope this case ends today" he continued.

"Acknowleged" the rest of team responded.

----------------------

The dinner was going to be of great significance. All the guests were formally dressed, the VIPs were looking extravagant, tables were set, lights were lit and music was being played. Ahil and few other men were having a chit chat as per normal just when Saba Lodhi walked in. In her white satin dress and brown blazer draped over her shoulders, she looked breathtaking. One of the girls who would easily grab anybody's attention on the ship, Saba was surely there to break hearts. Ahil tried his best not to look but he was deceived by his own eyes. Though he admired for a few seconds but that was enough for him to get a good glimpse of her. The good part, her team members not once gazed her as if she was a piece of flesh passing by, they always showed utmost respect towards her. Being the woman in lead, she earned this dignity herself, of which she was the most proud of.

(Saba in her element)

(Ahil's fit)

Saba remained towards the back tables, in order to lay low. While sipping the margarita, Ahil came and stood beside her.

"Hmm?" She asked with a questioning look.

"What?.... Khara nahi ho sakta yahan mein?" He countered.

"Nahi ho sakte.... But I-" before she finished off her sentence, she was interrupted.

"Firstly I am not here to mansplain things to you, surely you can be a better judge yourself... Secondly let's do this peacefully tonight and I'll make sure we never have to co-work on any other case.... I'll talk to Daniel myself" he spoke each word with such firmness that it made the surroundings even more cold.

She couldn't let another word out. He read her mind. Those were the exact words which she was going to say to his face, but he did that himself. Both kept standing in silence, eyes on the crowd.

----------------------

After the food was served, Mark (the agent aka the suspect) was seen interacting with people, none of them who looked suspicious. Minutes later, one of the guests, came and shook hands with him. He smilingly said something in his ear as he smoothly exchanged his phone with Mark's and waved him goodbye. Mark also rose from his seat and marched towards the exit door.

Meanwhile, Ahil paged one of the officers and both of them went behind Mark while others followed the other suspect. Saba who couldn't resist her temptations to witness everything on the other end, also followed Ahil from behind.

Maintaining quite a distance, Ahil and the officer cautiously proceeded along the way where Mark went. Soon they reached one of the promenade deck of the cruise, before they even had a chance to turn back, Mark swiftly pulled out a revolver and fired away.

One, Two, Three, Four. Four gunshots were heard across the cruise.

The next few seconds were accompanied by a haunting silence.
